"en": "This repository consists of two MATLAB scripts, PACCCK.mlx (function) and INNN.mlx, which are both written in MATLAB. PACCCK.mlx calculates critical DEM timestep and generates a non-overlapping packing of four size groups of particles within a cylindirical pipe. INNN.mlx generates LIGGGHTS script files (.in), batch files, replica cases and moves generated files to correct folders. These scripts are specific to case (cake formation in a vertical centrifugal filter) described in article and includes new primitives and physics from https://github.com/DamlaSerper/SCM and https://github.com/DamlaSerper/DEMPhysics.\r\n\r\nThe title and description of this software/code correspond with the situation when the software metadata was imported to ACRIS. The most recent version of metadata is available in the original repository."

"en": "The expansion of irrigated agriculture has increased global crop production but resulted in widespread stress to freshwater resources. Ensuring that increases in irrigated production only occur in places where water is relatively abundant is a key objective of sustainable agriculture, and knowledge of how irrigated land has evolved is important for measuring progress towards water sustainability. Yet a spatially detailed understanding of the evolution of global area equipped for irrigation (AEI) is missing. Here we utilize the latest sub-national irrigation statistics (covering 17298 administrative units) from various official sources to develop a gridded (5 arc-min resolution) global product of AEI for the years 2000, 2005, 2010, and 2015. We find that AEI increased by 11% from 2000 (297 Mha) to 2015 (330 Mha) with locations of both substantial expansion (e.g., northwest India, northeast China) and decline (e.g., Russia). Combining these outputs with information on green (i.e., rainfall) and blue (i.e., surface and ground) water stress, we also examine to what extent irrigation has expanded unsustainably (i.e., in places already experiencing water stress). We find that more than half (52%) of irrigation expansion has taken place in regions that were already water stressed, with India alone accounting for 36% of global unsustainable expansion. These findings provide new insights into the evolving patterns of global irrigation with important implications for global water sustainability and food security. Article abstract: We develop a methodology to estimate robust city-level vehicular speed indices, exactly decomposable into uncongested speed and congestion. We apply it to 180 Indian cities using 57 million simulated trips measured by a web mapping service. We verify the reliability of our simulated trips using a number of alternative data sources, including data on actual trips. We find wide variation in speed across cities that is driven more by differences in uncongested speed than congestion. Denser and more populated cities are slower, only in part because of congestion. Urban economic development is correlated with faster speed despite worse congestion."

Introduction The file “gen_dd_channel.zip” is a package of a wideband multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) stored radio channel model at 140 GHz in indoor hall, outdoor suburban, residential and urban scenarios. The package consists of 1) measured wideband double-directional multipath data sets estimated from radio channel sounding and processed through measurement-based ray-launching and 2) MATLAB code sets that allows users to generate wideband MIMO radio channels with various antenna array types, e.g., uniform planar and circular arrays at link ends. 2. What does this package do? Outputs of the channel model The MATLAB file “ChannelGeneratorDD_hexax.m” gives the following variables, among others. The .m file also gives optional figures illustrating antennas and radio channel responses. Variables Descriptions CIR MIMO channel impulse responses CFR MIMO channel frequency responses Inputs to the channel model In order for the MATLAB file “ChannelGeneratorDD_hexax.m” to run properly, the following inputs are required. Directory Descriptions data_030123_double_directional_paths Double-directional multipath data, measured and complemented by ray-launching tool, for various cellular sites. "en": "DReaM-ALD is a MATLAB implementation of a diffusion–reaction model for simulating the conformality of atomic layer deposition in high-aspect-ratio microchannels. This project implements a diffusion–reaction model developed by Ylilammi et al. (J. Appl. Phys. 123, 205301 (2018), DOI: 10.1063/1.5028178) in MATLAB. The model was developed to simulate the conformality of atomic layer deposited films in high-aspect-ratio microchannels. The output of the model, thickness profiles, show how the film thickness evolves with penetration into the microchannel. This diffusion–reaction model uses an analytical approximation of the reactant partial pressure in combination with the Langmuir model of adsorption. The scripts were written by Emma Verkama during her summer student employment in 2019 by request of Prof. Riikka Puurunen. Jihong Yim unified the variable names used in the scripts with the symbols adopted in Yim et al. (Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 24, 8645-8660 (2022), DOI: 10.1039/D1CP04758B). The publication of the scripts was handled by Jänis Järvilehto. This is the first public release of the DReaM-ALD code, v1.0.0."

This dataset has been published as Figure 4 in the publication \"Conformality of atomic layer deposition in microchannels: impact of process parameters on the simulated thickness profile\" (Yim and Verkama et al., Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 24 (2022) 8645-8660. https://doi.org/10.1039/D1CP04758B) A diffusion-reaction model by Ylilammi et al. (Ylilammi et al., J. Appl. Phys. 123 (2018) 205301. https://doi.org/10.1063/1.5028178) was re-implemented for the simulation. For this simulation, a channel height of 500 nm, which is a typical height for microscopic PillarHallTM LHAR test chips (Yim and Ylivaara et al., Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 22 (2020) 23107-23120. https://doi.org/10.1039/D0CP03358H) was used. The Excel file consists of 11 tabs in total: metadata, baseline thickness profile, and Fig4a to Fig4i. The baseline thickness profile and data of fig4a Fig4i are also available as a CSV file. The metadata page describes the data with its baseline conditions. The baseline conditions used in the simulation are: sticking coefficient = 0.01, temperature = 250 °C, initial partial pressure of Reactant A = 100 Pa, molar mass of Reactant A = 0.100 kg mol-1, hard-sphere diameter of Reactant A = 6 × 10-10 m, partial pressure of inert gas I = 500 Pa, molar mass of inert gas I = 0.028 kg mol-1, hard-sphere diameter of inert gas I = 3.74 × 10-10 m, mass density of deposited film = 3500 kg m-3, areal number density of metal M atoms in MyZx material = 4 nm-2, number of metal atoms in a Reactant A molecule = 1, number of metal atoms in a formula unit of growing film = 1, number of cycle = 250, desorption probability = 0.01 s-1, channel height = 500 nm, and channel width = 10 mm. The baseline thickness profile tab contains a thickness profile obtained in the baseline conditions as film thickness versus distance within a microchannel. The thickness profile stored from Fig4a to Fig4i tabs was obtained by varying individual parameters with other parameter values in baseline conditions: initial partial pressure of Reactant A (Fig4a), pulse time (Fig4b), molar mass of Reactant A (Fig4c), mass density of deposited film (Fig4d), adsorption density (Fig4e), desorption probability (Fig4f), sticking coefficient (Fig4g), temperature (Fig4h) and partial pressure of inert gas (Fig4i)."

"en": "This dataset includes probability distributions of projected mean sea level in Finland in 2030, 2040, ... 2100, as well as time series of projected mean sea level 2005-2100. Data is provided for 13 tide gauge locations and 3 emission scenarios: low (RCP2.6 / SSP1-2.6), medium (RCP4.5 / SSP2-4.5), and high (RCP8.5 / SSP5-8.5).\r\n\r\nThere are two data packages, distributions.zip and timeseries.zip. The data files included in these packages are tab- or space-delimited text files with the file extension .dat.\r\n\r\nAll filenames start with a three-character code xxx that determines the tide gauge (1-letter symbol) and the emission scenario (2 digits). For example:\r\n\r\nv26 means Vaasa, low emission scenario (RCP2.6 / SSP1-2.6)\r\ne45 means Helsinki, medium emission scenario (RCP4.5 / SSP2-4.5)\r\nt85 means Turku, high emission scenario (RCP8.5 / SSP5-8.5)\r\n\r\nThe letter symbols and locations of the tide gauges are, from north to south along the coast:\r\n\r\na - Kemi (65.67 N, 24.52 E)\r\no - Oulu (65.04 N, 25.42 E)\r\nb - Raahe (64.67 N, 24.41 E)\r\np - Pietarsaari (63.71 N, 22.69 E)\r\nv - Vaasa (63.08 N, 21.57 E)\r\ns - Kaskinen (62.34 N, 21.21 E)\r\nm - Mäntyluoto (61.59 N, 21.46 E)\r\nr - Rauma (61.13 N, 21.44 E)\r\nt - Turku (60.43 N, 22.1 E)\r\nd - Degerby (60.03 N, 20.38 E)\r\nh - Hanko (59.82 N, 22.98 E)\r\ne - Helsinki (60.15 N, 24.96 E)\r\nf - Hamina (60.56 N, 27.18 E)\r\n\r\n1) distributions.zip > xxx_fitdistr_yyyy.dat\r\nThese files include the probability distribution (probability density function) of projected mean sea level in year yyyy (2030, 2040, ... 2100). There are two columns: sea level and probability. Sea level values are millimetres in the Finnish N2000 height system.\r\n\r\n2) timeseries.zip > xxx_timeseries.dat\r\nThese files include the time series of projected mean sea level in 2005-2100. The files have 8 columns: year and 7 sea level values representing different percentiles of the probability distribution. The percentiles are 1%, 5%, 17%, 50% (median), 83%, 95%, 99%. Sea level values are centimetres in the Finnish N2000 height system.\r\n\r\nPlease note that all projections for years other than 2100 are indicative and based on a simple 2nd order fit made to the current rate of mean sea level change and the projected mean sea level in 2100. In other words, the projections for intermediate years are based on the 2100 projections assuming constant acceleration in mean sea level change rates.\r\n\r\nExample figures distributions.png and timeseries.png are included to illustrate the data. The Matlab script slrfinland_figures.m used to produce these figures is also included."

"en": "This is a database of Fe nanoparticles generated with a GAP interatomic potential for iron [1]. The files are provided in ASE's extended XYZ format. For each nanoparticle, convex_hull.xyz includes the energies as computed with: PAW-PBE DFT [1,2] our GAP [3] the GAP by Dragoni et al. [4] the EAM by Mendelevet al. [5] the EAM by Finnis and Sinclair et al. [6] The movie surface.mp4 shows the fractions of surface sites resembling surface motifs from pristine crystal surfaces more than the others, for each particle from convex_hull.xyz. Similarity is measured by comparing SOAP descriptors [7] of the surface environments with those from the reference structures. More details will follow in a scientific publication in due course (bibliographical data will be added as it becomes available)."

"en": "The ParliamentSampo Knowledge Graph includes data regarding Finnish Parliamentary debates and actors. The RDF data has been converted using data from the Parliament of Finland's open data services and Wikidata. The Knowledge Graph contains harmonized data of speeches from the plenary sessions of the Finnish Parliament 1907–2022, and members and organizations of the Parliament. The data model is designed for representing speeches, interruptions, items (on agenda), documents and other aspects related to plenary session speeches and minutes as well as member of the parliament and biographical information about them focusing on their political career. This dataset is available on a public SPARQL endpoint (http://ldf.fi/semparl/sparql) To test and demonstrate its usefulness, this Knowledge Graph is in use in the semantic portal ParliamentSampo, explained in more detail in the project page. The Knowledge Graph can be downloaded also as CSV and XML files. See the dataset page on LDF.fi for more details."

Fitting of the potentials was done using QUIP/GAP [1,2,8].\r\n\r\nThe potential uses 2-body (distance_2b), 3-body (angle_3b) and SOAP (soap_turbo) [9,10] descriptors, as implemented in the TurboGAP code [11].\r\n\r\nAll files necessary to use the potential QUIP/GAP (compiled with the TurboGAP libraries) are in QUIP_files.tar.gz, all files to use with TurboGAP in TurboGAP_files.tar.gz.
