"en": "Original Siglent oscilloscope waveform data, oscilloscope screenshot, and MATLAB analysis code from a Metglas AMCC-1000 dynamic-transformer experiment near the intended 35 kHz operating region. The primary winding had 13 turns and the two secondary sections had seven turns each. The measured primary inductance was 431 µH with a 47 nF resonant capacitor. The secondary sections were intentionally connected in an inductance-reducing configuration, giving 36.53 µH with a common 100 nF capacitor. The ideal uncoupled primary LC resonance is 35.36 kHz, while the recorded coupled-system waveform is approximately 37.7–37.9 kHz. The MATLAB script produces time-domain statistics, continuous-frequency sine-fit estimates, FFT spectra, harmonic amplitudes, total harmonic distortion, relative phase, spectrograms, and comparisons between calculated and measured resonance frequencies. The acquisition contains 70,000 samples at a 1 ns interval. The short record contains fewer than three low-frequency periods and should therefore be interpreted as a documented single experimental acquisition rather than a high-precision statistical frequency study."

"en": "Chewing not only converts food chunks to digestible proportions, it also conveys audible acoustics resulting in a perception on the type and condition of the food being eaten. As biomedical engineers, we may want to reproduce the same eating experience for those who cannot chew or for those who have allergic reactions to some foods. But to understand this psychoacoustic phenomenon better, it is crucial to under- stand what produces the sound of specific foods. The purpose of this paper is to present a straightforward methodology to produce audible acoustics from a notoriously loud Finnish delicacy and analyse the sound produced. One hundred samples of leipäjuusto and one hundred samples of Gouda cheese for controls were subjected to shear between a bamboo board and a wetted blade. All leipäjuusto samples and none of the Gouda cheese samples produced audible squeaks. A 0.1-s delay between blade displacement and sound production was observed. We attribute this delay to the buildup to release. The frequency spectra from pushing and pulling movements were observed to have only negligible differences. This indicated that the internal structure between events did not change. Therefore, the hypothesis that a disruptive event underlies the squeaking process is less plausible."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. "en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity."

"en": "Hyperactive mutation V617F in the JAK2 regulatory pseudokinase domain (JH2) is prevalent in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Here, we identified novel small molecules that target JH2 of JAK2 V617F and characterized binding via biochemical and structural approaches. Screening of 107,600 small molecules resulted in identification of 55 binders to the ATP-binding pocket of recombinant JAK2 JH2 V617F protein at a low hit rate of 0.05%, which indicates unique structural characteristics of the JAK2 JH2 ATP-binding pocket. Selected hits and structural analogs were further assessed for binding to JH2 and JH1 (kinase) domains of JAK family members (JAK1-3, TYK2) and for effects on MPN model cell viability. Crystal structures were determined with JAK2 JH2 wild-type and V617F. The JH2-selective binders were identified in diaminotriazole, diaminotriazine, and phenylpyrazolo-pyrimidone chemical entities, but they showed low-affinity, and no inhibition of MPN cells was detected, while compounds binding to both JAK2 JH1 and JH2 domains inhibited MPN cell viability. X-ray crystal structures of protein-ligand complexes indicated generally similar binding modes between the ligands and V617F or wild-type JAK2. Ligands of JAK2 JH2 V617F are applicable as probes in JAK-STAT research, and SAR optimization combined with structural insights may yield higher-affinity inhibitors with biological activity"

"en": "The TAU Sound Events and Speech Privacy Preservation Dataset is a collection of audio data used in the work \"Adversarial Representation Learning for Robust Privacy Preservation in Audio\" by S. Gharib, M. Tran, D. Luong, K. Drossos, and T. Virtanen. The dataset is created by merging subsets of the Freesound 50k Dataset (FSD50K) and the LibriSpeech corpus. Both FSD50K and LibriSpeech are licensed under the Creative Commons license. The dataset contains of ~5000 one-second sound event samples with or without speech content provided in WAV and NumPy array format (approximately half of the samples contains speech). The creation of the dataset ensures an equal number of samples for male and female speakers across each sound event class. The sound event classes included in this dataset are: dog barking glass breaking gun shot cough slam applause dished pot pan toilet flush cat meowing doorbell crying drill Please check the README for better understanding of the dataset."

"en": "The study examined the national identity and political participation of Finns living abroad. The study received funding from the Unit for Democracy, Language Affairs and Fundamental Rights at the Ministry of Justice, the Migration Institute of Finland and the Finnish Club of Tampere.\r\n\r\nQuestions surveying national identity examined, among others, how long the respondents had lived abroad, their reasons for moving abroad, languages spoken with different people, contacts and visits to Finland, importance of different places (e.g. place of birth, Finland, country of residence, Europe) and the most important characteristics in terms of their identity (e.g. occupation, citizenship, gender, religion, country of residence). Further questions charted the importance of various things when considering who is a Finn (e.g. being a citizen of Finland, having lived in Finland most of one's life, having Finnish heritage), feeling of Finnishness, feelings of national pride in different things (e.g. international political influence, achievements in sports), and things the respondents felt they had had to change or give up when moving abroad (language, cultural traditions, opinions or habits).\r\n\r\nPolitical participation was surveyed with questions about interest in politics, following politics in the media, forms of political participation engaged in (e.g. signing a petition, participating in a demonstration), participation in citizens' initiatives and membership and participation in associations and organisations. A number of questions about voting were asked, such as the most important things affecting the low voter turnout of Finnish expatriates, ways to increase voter turnout, the usefulness of introducing mail and internet voting and a separate constituency for expatriates, frequency of voting in Finnish elections, distance to the closest polling station, reasons for not voting, political party preference, and voting in the elections of the country of residence.\r\n\r\nBackground variables included the respondent's gender, year of birth, marital status, Finnish citizenship, education, economic activity and occupational status as well as the Finnish citizenship of parents and type of the place of residence."

Values of carbon dioxide content during air change rate measurements, which were done using carbon dioxide as a tracer gas."
