"fi": "Aineisto sisältää Suomen maisemamaakuntajaon. Suomi on jaettu kymmeneen eri maisemamaakuntaan, joista osa jakautuu edelleen seutuihin. Jako ilmentää kulttuurimaisemille ominaisia alueellisia piirteitä ja maisemien vaihtelevuutta. Läheisten seutujen väliset erot eivät ole jyrkkiä, sillä maisemien piirteet vaihettuvat toisiksi yleensä vähittäin. Kaukana toisistaan sijaitsevat seudut ja maakunnat ovat sen sijaan maisemiltaan huomattavan erilaisia.\nMaisemamaakuntien jaon on laatinut ympäristöministeriön maisema-aluetyöryhmä. Jakoa on hyödynnetty, kun kulttuurimaiseman eri piirteistä on tehty valtakunnallisia ja maakunnallisia tarkasteluja ja arviointeja. "fi": "Yhdyskuntarakenteen kuvaamista ja muutoksen seurantaa varten on kehitetty yhdyskuntarakenteen elementtejä kuvaavia aluejakoja. YKR-aluejaot on toteutettu yhdistelemällä 250 x 250 metrin ruutuja paikkatietomenetelmillä. Yhdistelyperusteina ovat mm. rakennustehokkuus, rakennusten käyttötarkoitus ja väestömäärä. YKR-aluejakoja ovat taajamat, kylät, pienkylät ja maaseudun harva asutus.\n\nYKR-taajamalla tarkoitetaan vähintään 200 asukkaan taajaan rakennettua aluetta. Rajaus perustuu 250 m x 250 m ruudukkoon, jossa huomioidaan asukasluvun lisäksi rakennusten lukumäärä, kerrosala ja keskittyneisyys. Rajaus on sekä ajallisesti että alueellisesti vertailukelpoinen. Rajaus on hieman tiukempi kuin yleinen pohjoismainen taajamarajaus (vähintään 200 asukasta ja rakennusten välinen etäisyys alle 200m).\n\nKylämäistä yhdyskuntarakennetta kuvaavan aluejaon tavoitteena on esittää taajamien ulkopuolisen haja-asutusalueen rakennus- ja asutustihentymät, jotka perustuvat vakituiseen asutukseen. Kylät on jaettu kahteen luokkaan, 20-39 asukkaan pienkylät sekä yli 39 asukkaan kylät. Harvaan maaseutuasutukseen kuuluvat ne alueet, jotka eivät kuulu taajamiin, kyliin eivätkä pienkyliin, mutta joissa on vähintään yksi asuttu rakennus (=väestöä) kilometrin säteellä. 100 % vettä sisältävät ruudut eivät kuulu aluejakoihin. "fi": "Taajamat Keskeisimmät kriteerit taaja-asutuksen rajauksessa ovat olleet: -\trakennusten lukumäärä, -\tkerrosala, -\tväestömäärä ja -\tnäiden suhde toisiinsa ja lähiympäristöön etäisyydellä mitattuna. Tällä menettelyllä on haluttu varmistaa muutamien taaja-asutuksen erityispiirteiden huomioiminen mahdollisimman hyvin: -\tYksittäisten taajaman reunoilla sijaitsevien, kerrosalaltaan isojen ja toiminannaltaan taajamaan liittyvien rakennusten huomioiminen osaksi taajamaa, vaikka suora etäisyys tilastollisen taajaman ei olisikaan riittävä (mm. isot teollisuuslaitokset, varastot tms.) -\tHaja-asutukseen verrattavan harvan nauhamaisen asutuksen erottaminen pois taaja-asutuksesta -\tTaaja-asutuksen sisälle kuroutuneiden alueiden erottaminen erikseen taaja-asutuksesta (mm. taajaman sisäiset isot rakentamattomat tai harvasti rakennetut alueet, pelto- ja metsäalueet sekä vesialueet) Menetelmä: Lähtöaineistona rajauksessa käytetään tilastoruutua (250 x 250 m) rakennuskannasta. Ruudukolle toteutetaan yleistys, jossa jokaiseen ruutuun lasketaan summa 1 km:n etäisyydellä olevien ruutujen rakennuksen lukumäärästä ja valitaan ne ruudut, joiden summa-arvo on > 39. Valittujen ruutujen sisältä toteutetaan uusi yleistys, jossa lasketaan vierekkäisten ruutujen summa kerrosalasta. Valitaan ne arvot, jotka ylittävät arvon 1499. Poistetaan ruudukon sisään jäävien tyhjien alueiden ruudut. Valitaan ne alkuperäisen rakennuskannan tilastoruuduston ruudut, jotka jäävät valittujen ruutujen sisään. Valituista perusaineiston ruuduista valitaan ne ruudut, joissa rakennusten lukumäärän summa on > 1 tai kerrosalan summa> 299 Lasketaan ruuduista 250 metrin etäisyysvyöhyke. Lasketaan etäisyysvyöhykkeestä uusi etäisyysvyöhyke \"sisäänpäin\". Valitaan ne alkuperäisen rakennuskannan tilastoruuduston ruudut, jotka jäävät valittujen ruutujen sisään. Yhdistetään ruudusto (ehtona ruudun sivun osuminen toiseen ruutuun) Lasketaan muodostuneisiin alueisiin väestötieto ja valitaan ne alueet, joissa asukasluku > 199. Kylät ja pienkylät Kriteerit: -\tNe yhtenäiset rakennetut 250 x 250m ruuduista muodostetut alueet, joissa ruudun ja sitä ympäröivien kahdeksan ruudun rakennusten yhteenlaskettu lukumäärä on vähintään kuusi. -\tAlueet eivät ole taajama-aluetta -\tAlueella asuu vähintään 40 asukasta (lisäksi voidaan erottaa yli 20 asukkaan asutusrykelmät omiksi erilliseksi alueikseen (pienkylät)) -\tLoma-asuntoja ei ole huomioitu Menetelmä: Kaikkiin taajaman ulkopuolisiin rakennettuihin 250m x 250m ruutuihin (pl. loma--asutus) on laskettu ruudun ja sitä ympäröivien 8 ruudussa sijaitsevien rakennusten lukumäärän summa. Ruuduista valitaan ne, joissa rakennusten yhteenlaskettu lukumäärä on yli viisi (5). Näin muodostuu ruutujaon mukaisia yhtenäisiä alueita. Alueista poistetaan YKR-taajaman sisään lasketut alueet sekä ne, joissa on alle 40 asukasta. Ruutujaotusta mukailevat alueet, jotka ovat ruudun kulmistaan kiinni ovat samaa aluetta. Kylämäinen asutus kattaa morfologialtaan hyvin erilaisia kyliä kuten jokien ja tienvarsiasutuksen mukaiset asutusjonot, yhtenäiset asutusrykelmät tai taajamia ympäröivä tiheähkö tasaisesti sirottunut asutus. Lähinaapuruusruutumenetelmä kuvaa parhaiten em. kylien morfologisia muotoja. Se noudattelee riittävän \"herkästi\" eri muotoisia kyliä, mutta ei kuitenkaan liikaa pirstaloi kylien pienosia eli kulmakuntia omiksi alueikseen. 40 asukkaan minimiväestö takaa sen, että pienimmät talorykelmät eivät muodosta omia, yhdyskuntarakenteeltaan itsenäisiä kyliä. Samoin kylien tilastollisen tarkastelun osalta riittävän suuri väestömäärä ei ole liian herkkä yhden tai kahden asunnon lisääntymisen tai poistumisen suhteen. Harva maaseutuasutus Menetelmä: YKR:n harvaan maaseutuasutukseen kuuluvat ne alueet, jotka eivät kuulu taajamiin, kyliin eivätkä pienkyliin, mutta joissa on vähintään yksi asuttu rakennus (=väestöä) kilometrin säteellä. Harvaan maaseutuasutukseen voi kuulua myös saaria, joissa ei ole asutusta. Kilometrin säteellä näistä on kuitenkin maaseutuasutusta, joten ne kuuluvat maaseutuasutuksen 'piiriin'. YKR-taajamien ja kylien ulkopuolelle voi myös kuulua harvaan maaseutuasutukseen kuuluvia alueita, joissa ei ole asutusta. Näiden alueiden mukaantulo johtuu läheisen YKR-taajaman tai kylän vaikutuksesta."

Pien- ja kerrostaloalueet ovat varsinaisia taajamien asuinalueita, kun taas harva pientaloasutus ei muodosta selkeitä kokonaisuuksia omine lähipalveluineen vaan on rakenteeltaan hajanaista.\n\nAsuinaluerajaus on tehty yhdyskuntarakenteen seurantajärjestelmään (YKR) tuotettujen Tilastokeskuksen 250 m x 250 m tilastoruutujen pohjalta. Taajamarajauksena on käytetty SYKEssä tehtyä taajamarajausta. \n\nAsuinalueisiin sisältyvät kaikki taajaman sisällä sijaitsevat ruudut, joissa asuminen on pääasiallista toimintaa. Asuinaluerajauksessa huomioidaan rakennusten määrä, kerrosala, talotyyppi ja aluetehokkuus. Rajauksen ulkopuolelle jäävät ruudut, joissa esim. teollisuus-, toimisto- tai liikerakennusten kerrosalan osuus on suuri, vaikka niissä olisi myös asuinrakennuksia. Kerros- ja pientaloalueet on jaettu sen mukaan, miten kerrosala jakautuu talotyypeittäin. Harvaa pientaloasutusta ovat ruudut, joissa aluetehokkuus on alle 0,02.\n\nAsuinaluerajaus on valtakunnallinen tilastollinen aluerajaus. Se ei rajaa yksittäisiä kaupunginosia tai asuinalueita vaan alueet ovat vyöhykemäisiä. \n\nAineisto kuuluu SYKEn avoimiin aineistoihin (CC BY 4.0)."

"en": "## About dataset\n\nThis dataset includes academic publisher costs paid by Finnish research organizations to publishers and suppliers during the years 2010–2017. Dataset includes total costs of license contracts made with individual publishers or suppliers. Dataset also includes information on the different materials and types the contracts included. Also included is the information on how the data was acquired.\n\n### Collection of the data\n\nThe collection was conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This data collection was based on a precedent, in which the Helsinki administrative court ruled on the 7th of August 2015 with its decision 15/0593/5 that Aalto University Foundation has to provide the total costs of individual license contracts with Elsevier. These acquisitions are public based on the Act on the Openness of Government Activities.\n\nThe research organizations were asked to provide the total costs of individual license contracts with scientific publishers. \n\nThis dataset is compiled of the answers that research organizations provided to the request of publisher cost information.\n\nTo construct the compiled dataset the spelling of the answers given by the research organizations was unified and the costs were converted to euros when needed. Following you can find the data variables and information on the changes made to unify the data.\n\n### Data files\n\nDataset includes two .csv files. They differ only by the language of titles. "fi": "## Tietoaineistosta\n\nTämä tietoaineisto sisältää suomalaisten tutkimusorganisaatioiden tieteellisille kustantajille ja välittäjille maksamia tilausmaksuja vuosilta 2010–2017. Tietoaineistossa tilausmaksut on ilmoitettu sopimuksittain vuositason kokonaishintoina aina yhtä kustantajaa tai välittäjää kohden. Tietoaineistossa on lisäksi tietoja sopimusten sisältämistä aineistokokonaisuuksista sekä hankintatavoista.\n\n### Tietoaineiston keruu\n\nKustantajahintatiedot kerättiin opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön toteuttamana tiedonkeruuna suomalaisilta tutkimusorganisaatioilta. However, a downloadable version of the same content will be maintained (see Relations). Further details about the most recent version are available on the info page of this corpus family (https://www.kielipankki.fi/aineistot/ssdc-2016) \n\nThe corpus consists of Skolt Saami recordings made at the Institute for the Languages of Finland and annotated in the Skolt Saami documentation project directed by Matti Miestamo at the University of Helsinki (Department of Modern Languages: General Linguistics). The annotations include a transcription and a translation into Finnish, and for a large part of the recordings also a translation into English, morphemic glossing and parts-of-speech analysis. The material has been annotated in ELAN, where the soundtrack and analysis have been combined and time-synchronized. Project director: Matti Miestamo. "en": "The FinRead corpus is a subcorpus of FinINTAS. FinRead consists of read-aloud speech from the same speakers whose conversations are included in the FinDialogue subcorpus. The corpus includes audio files (WAV) and phonetic annotation files (Praat TextGrid). FinRead will be made available at http://lat.csc.fi, along with FinDialogue.\n\nThe speakers were native Finns from the capital city region in Finland. Ten speakers were 20 to 30 years of age (D1, D2, D4, D6, D7), whereas the rest of the speakers (D8-D12) were between 45-65 years.\n\nThe recordings were performed in an anechoic room for speakers F1-F7 and M1-M7 and in a professional recording studio for the speakers F8-F12 and M8-M12. The speech was recorded with combined headphone-microphone sets either to a DAT recorder in the anechoic room or to the computer system in the recording studio.\n\nThe speakers were asked to read aloud 1) a short extract of the quasi-orthographic transcript of their own speech in the FinDialogue corpus, 2) a set of edited, normalized sentences produced from the same transcript, 3) a short set of normalized written sentences that were equally read aloud by all the speakers in FinRead."

"fi": "Valtion maiden suojelualueiden rajat pohjautuvat pääosin Metsähallitukselta saatuihin tietoihin. Yksityiset rauhoituspäätökset (ns. YSA alueet) on alun perin digitoitu Ympäristöministeriössä olevista päätöskartoista ja Suomen säädöskokoelmasta. Vuoden 1997 jälkeen tehdyt päätökset on digitoitu alueellisissa ympäristökeskuksissa vastaamaan digitointiajankohdan numeerisen kiinteistörajakartan (NKRK) rajoja. Joissakin ympäristökeskuksissa myös nämä vanhat päätökset on korjattu vastaamaan NKRK-aineistoa. Nykyisin aineistoa tuottaa ELY-keskusten Ympäristö ja luonnonvarat –vastuualue Metsähallituksen SATJ-järjestelmässä. 14.3.2017 alkaen tiedot ovat siirtyneet automaattisesti Metsähallituksesta SYKEn järjestelmään, joten ympäristöhallinnon sisäisesti käytettävä aineisto on ajantasainen. Internetissä jakelussa oleva aineisto päivitetään tällä hetkellä kaksi kertaa vuodessa. Aineisto sisältää osittain päällekkäisiä kohteita. Ei sisällä Ahvenanmaan tietoja."

The objective of the 2016 challenge was to better understand different VC techniques built on a freely-available common dataset to look at a common goal, and to share views about unsolved problems and challenges faced by the current VC techniques. The VCC 2016 focused on the most basic VC task, that is, the construction of VC models that automatically transform the voice identity of a source speaker into that of a target speaker using a parallel clean training database where source and target speakers read out the same set of utterances in a professional recording studio. 17 research groups had participated in the 2016 challenge. The challenge was successful and it established new standard evaluation methodology and protocols for bench-marking the performance of VC systems. \r\n \r\n In 2018, we launched the second edition of VCC, the VCC 2018. In this second edition, we have revised three aspects of the challenge. First, we have reduced the amount of speech data used for the construction of participant's VC systems to half. This is based on feedback from participants in the previous challenge and this is also essential for practical applications. Second, we introduced a more challenging task refereed to a Spoke task in addition to a similar task to the 1st edition, which we call a Hub task. In the Spoke task, participants need to build their VC systems using a non-parallel database in which source and target speakers read out different sets of utterances. We then evaluate both parallel and non-parallel voice conversion systems via the same large-scale crowdsourcing listening test. Third, we also attempted to bridge the gap between the ASV and VC communities. Since new VC systems developed for the VCC 2018 may be strong candidates for enhancing the ASVspoof 2015 database, we also asses spoofing performance of the VC systems based on anti-spoofing scores. \r\n \r\n This repository contains the training and evaluation data released to participants, submissions from participants, and the listening test results for the 2018 Voice Conversion Challenge.",

The challenge was drawn upon state-of-the-art TTS and VC attacks data prepared for the “SAS” corpus by TTS and VC researchers. The primary technical goal of ASVspoof 2017 is to assess spoofing attack detection accuracy with ‘out in the wild’ conditions, thereby advancing research towards generalized spoofing countermeasure, in particular to detect replay. In addition, ASVspoof 2017 attempts to better interlink the research efforts from spoofing and text-dependent ASV communities. To this end, ASVspoof 2017 makes an extensive use of the recent text-dependent RedDots corpus, as well as a replayed version of the same data. The ASVspoof 2017 database contains large amount of speech data collected from 179 replay sessions in 61 unique replay configurations. Number of speakers is 42. A replay configuration means a unique combination of room, replay device and recording device, while a session refers to a set of source files, which share the same replay configuration.
