"en": "The corpus is available in Kielipankki - the Language Bank of Finland (korp.csc.fi) at http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2016092601\n\nThe Corpus of Beserman Udmurt comprises 65 000 tokens. The Beserman dialect of Udmurt is used in daily communication approximately by 2 000 speakers (according to the 2010 census). The Beserman live in the basin of the Cheptsa river in the Republic of Udmurtia and in the Kirov Oblast of the Russian Federation. In the scientific literature Beserman is considered to be a dialect of the Udmurt language which is characterized by an unusual combination of specifically Beserman phenomena (concentrated in vocabulary and phonetics) with certain traits of Northern and Southern Udmurt dialects, mostly morphological and phonological. The dialect remains the main means of everyday communication in Beserman villages, at least for the older generation.\nThe texts contained in the corpus have been collected in the villages of Shamardan (109 texts of 117), Vortsa (4 of 117), Malaya Yunda (1 of 117) and Zhuvam (3 of 117) in the Republic of Udmurtia in the years 2003-2015. There are 33 informants in total. The texts have been recorded, transcribed and grammatically annotated in the SIL FieldWorks software. The corpus contains narratives, life stories, dialogues, recipes, and recordings of psycholinguistic experiments. Each sentence is provided with interlinear glossing (according to the Leipzig Glossing Rules) and translation. "en": "The samples analysed are examples of magma-sediment interaction and were investigated to further understand the mixing fabrics in 3D. The research is being undertaken by PhD student Rebecca Miles (USW) and supervised by Dr Ian Skilling and Professor Duncan Pirrie (USW). The samples are from the Gwna Group Melange (Monian Super Group) spanning the Precambrian Ediacaran Period (635 Ma) to early Cambrian Comley series (510 Ma), which crops out as part of the iconic and well documented succession on Anglesey, North Wales. This unit offers clear evidence of spectacular interaction of basaltic magma and seafloor sediment on the metre to millimetre scale (i.e. peperite generation), which has been recognized here for the first time. The age of the studied limestones is poorly known but other Gwna Group limestone megaclasts on the island which are up to hundreds of metres in size, have been documented using strontium isotope chemostratigraphy as having a Neoproterozoic depositional age between early Cryogenian (c. 800 Ma) and late Tonian (860 Ma) (Horák & Evans, 2010). 10 field samples were selected from the suite of collected field samples for 3D imaging using microCT. "fi": "Haastattelututkimuksessa selvitettiin eri toimijoiden näkemyksiä hoivarobotiikan käytön nykytilasta. Haastattelut tehtiin lokakuun 2018 ja maaliskuun 2019 välisenä aikana. Haastattelut kohdistettiin yhteiskunnan kolmelle tasolle: mikro-, meso- ja makrotasoille. Kullekin tasolle laadittiin omat haastattelukysymykset. Tason sisällä kysymyksiä tarvittaessa modifioitiin haastateltavan taustayhteisön perusteella. Kaikilta haastatelluilta kerättiin taustatietona muun muassa ikä, sukupuoli, koulutustausta, asema ja mahdollinen työskentely sosiaali- ja terveystoimialalla.\n\nMikrotason haastatteluissa oli mukana neljä ryhmää, yhteensä 18 haastateltavaa. Ryhmät olivat hoitohenkilöstö (4 hlöä), lähiesimiehet (6 hlöä), ikääntyneet asiakkaat (4 hlöä) ja asiakkaiden läheiset (4 hlöä). Haastattelut toteutettiin fokusryhmähaastatteluina. Kunkin ryhmän haastattelu noudatti samaa rakennetta. Avaus- ja siirtymäkysymysten jälkeen esitettiin varsinaiset avainkysymykset ja viimeisenä loppukysymys. Kysymysten sisältöä muokattiin jonkin verran kullekin haastateltavalle ryhmälle sopivaksi. \n\nMikrotason avainkysymysten teemat käsittelivät robotiikkaan liittyviä tietotarpeita ja tiedon lähteitä; hyviä käytänteitä hoivarobotiikan esittelemiseen vanhuspalveluissa; koulutustarpeita sekä perehdyttämiseen liittyviä asioita. Haastatteluissa hyödynnettiin myös kuva- ja videomateriaalia hoivaroboteista. Haastateltavien tehtävänä oli muun muassa pohtia esitysmateriaalissa olleiden robottien etuja ja haittoja edustamansa viiteryhmän näkökulmasta sekä miten he suhtautuisivat ylipäänsä hoivarobottien käyttöön omalla kohdallaan, jos hoivan/hoidon tarvetta ilmenisi. \n\nMesotason (organisaatio- ja yhteisötaso) haastattelut toteutettiin teemahaastatteluina. Haastateltavat edustivat julkisia sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelujen järjestäjiä/tarjoajia, koulutusorganisaatioita, yrityksiä sekä hoiva- ja hoitohenkilöstön edunvalvontaorganisaatioita ja ikäihmisten edunvalvontaorganisaatioita. Kustakin ryhmästä haastateltiin 2-3 henkilöä joko yksilö-, pari- tai pienryhmähaastatteluna. Kymmenessä haastattelussa haastateltiin yhteensä 12 henkilöä. Hoivarobotiikan nykytilaa käsiteltiin haastatteluissa muun muassa seuraavista näkökulmista: hoivarobotiikan hyväksyttävyys sekä käyttöönottoa edistävät ja hidastavat tekijät; riskit, potentiaalit ja tulevaisuuden näkymät; vastuullinen kehitystyö ja innovaatiotoiminta; kentän toimijoiden ja asiakkaiden tieto- ja valmiustaso sekä koulutustarpeet; verkostoituminen ja robotiikkaan perehdyttämisen hyvät käytänteet. \n\n\nMakrotason (yhteiskuntataso) haastattelut toteutettiin teemahaastatteluina kuten mesotason haastattelut. Kymmenessä haastattelussa haastateltiin yhteensä 12 henkilöä. Haastatellut edustivat poliittista päätöksentekoa, tutkimusorganisaatioita, vakuutussektoria, rahoittajaorganisaatioita ja media-alaa. Haastatteluissa kysyttiin pääosin samoja teemoja kuin mesotason haastatteluissa, mutta vahvasti yhteiskunnallisesta painotuksesta käsin. \n\nEdellä kuvatussa monitasohaastattelussa kerättiin aineistoa yhteensä 32 henkilöltä yhteiskunnan eri tasoilta. Haastatteluteemat olivat laajat ja kysymyksiä runsaasti, koska samalla haastattelukerralla kerättiin aineistoa kahden toisiaan temaattisesti lähellä olevan hankkeen käyttöön hieman eri haastattelukysymyksin. Hankkeet ovat: \n-\tUse of care robots in welfare services: new models for effective orientation (ORIENT). Hoivarobottien käyttö hyvinvointipalveluissa: Uudet mallit vaikuttavaan perehdytykseen. "en": "One of the most used tools for creating interactive, advanced, and easily maintainable websites in 2020 is the programming language JavaScript. Over the last decade, many front-end frameworks have been built on top of JavaScript, which makes creation, design, and maintenance of interactive websites easier. As of 2020, the most popular front-end JavaScript frameworks were, by a large margin, React and Vue, followed by Angular. A relatively new framework called Svelte was also gaining in popularity and raised developer interest. This study will evaluate the performance of these front-end JavaScript frameworks. The criteria for evaluation are primarily based on speed of completing certain operations related to DOM elements in the web browser, such as DOM element addition, editing, and removal. Non-technical evaluation points include differences in architecture, development experience, popularity, maturity, and availability.\n\nTo set the context for the study of these frameworks, the study begins with an outline of the history and development of JavaScript. Its current status and versions are also described. Surrounding technologies relevant to the study are presented, such as DOM and HTML. Following this, the key features of front-end JavaScript frameworks are investigated, and the development setup process for a generic framework is documented. The criteria for selecting frameworks for evaluation is presented, and the four selected front-end frameworks are then investigated and evaluated. A benchmark JavaScript application is described and created for each of the frameworks. With this reference application, a number of technical benchmarks are performed, where the frameworks are rated according to how well they perform various DOM data updates. Finally, a recommendation is made on which frameworks are best suited for use, and how the future landscape of front-end JavaScript frameworks is likely to develop. Updated in mid-May 2021."

"en": "The Kappas! study investigated the level of Finnish undergraduate students’ generic skills, what factors are associated with the level of generic skills, and to what extent these skills develop during higher education studies. The participants (n = 2402) were initial and final stage Bachelor-level students from 11 universities and 7 universities of applied sciences in Finland. The assessed generic skills were analytic reasoning and evaluation, problem solving, writing effectiveness, and writing mechanics. They were measured by Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA+) International instrument developed by US-based Council for Aid to Education (CAE). CLA+ International consisted of one performance task (PT), 25 selected-response questions (SRQs), and a background information survey. The instrument was translated from English into Finnish and Swedish. An internet-based testing was carried out at participating higher education institutions between August 2019 and March 2020.\r\n\r\nThe Kappas! dataset contains national raw data in SPSS format (.sav) accompanied with data key files in Excel format (.xlsx). The raw data contain data on students sampled from 18 Finnish higher education institutions*. The VOPA model includes phased descriptions of learning interaction, which supports an idea of learning interaction as a developing skill. The phased descriptions of VOPA model can be used in planning, implementation, and reflection of classroom interaction in teacher pre-service and in-service training. Teacher educators may use the research-based descriptions for observing and guiding student teachers in their teaching practice.",

"en": "The archive includes data obtained after testing of the cylindrical Li-ion batteries. The data was presented and used in Kirill Murashko et al 2021 J. Electrochem. Soc. 168 010511. The following cylindrical cells were tested: ANR26650M1B, INR26650EC, NCR18650PF and LR1865HB. The archive includes following curves: EMF, heat curves and entropy change curves at different values of the state of the charge (SoC) and state of the health (SoH). The reuse of the research data requires a citation to the archived data in publications and presentations, for which the data will be used. The citations to the archived data should include the name of the research data, author, and their organisation."
