For each of these two categories we provide three normalization set-ups based on z-score, min-max, and decimal-precision normalization. Since we followed the anchored cross-validation method for 10 days for 5 stocks, the user can find nine (cross-fold) datasets for each normalization set-up for training and testing. Every training and testing dataset contains information for all the stocks. For example, the first fold contains one-day of training and one-day of testing for all the five stocks. The second fold contains the training dataset for two days and the testing dataset for one day. The two-days information the training dataset has is the training and testing from the first fold and so on.\r\n\r\nThe title of the .txt files contains the information in the following order:\r\n\r\n1. training or testing set\r\n2. with or without auction period\r\n3. type of the normalization setup\r\n4. fold number (from 1 to 9) based on the above cross-validation method\r\n\r\nATTENTION: The given files contain both the feature set and the labels. From row 1 to row 144 we provide the features (see 'Benchmark Dataset for Mid-Price Prediction of Limit Order Book Data' for the description) and from row 145 to row 149 we provide labels for 5 classification problems. Labels (row 145 to the end) have the following explanation ‘1’ is for up-movement, ‘2’ is for stationary condition and ‘3’ is for down-movement.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n## Motivation\r\n\r\nThese are the first publicly available datasets that contain representations and annotations for a limit order book (LOB) in the High Frequency Trading universe.\r\n\r\n## Tests\r\n\r\nWe provide baselines for these datasets based on linear and non-linear regression methods.\r\n\r\n## Acknowledgment\r\n\r\nThe research leading to these results has received funding from the H2020 Project BigDataFinance MSCA-ITN-ETN 675044 (http://bigdatafinance.eu) Training for Big Data in Financial Research and Risk Management."

"en": "The Topographic Wetness Index (TWI) (Beven & Kirkby, 1979) was calculated for Finland in accordance to the multisource National Forest Inventory data resolution and grid (16m*16m) (Luke MS-NFI, 2015). The calculation was conducted for a union of two Digital Elevation Models (DEM) (NLS, 2017) including the latest available 2m resolution DEM (status in June 2016) and the 10m resolution DEM. The combined DEM was clipped according to watershed areas (3rd level division) (Finnish Environment Institute, 2010) with 500m buffer to account for uncertainty in basin boundaries (Makinen, Sarjakoski, Oksanen, & Westerholm, 2016). Mean elevation value was used in aggregation to the MS-NFI grid. The pre-processing of the DEM and the calculation of the TWI were conducted in WhiteBox GIS programme (Lindsay, 2014) with python script looping through the 5637 watersheds. First the road and stream intersections (derived from NLS Topographical Database) were burned into the DEM to account for culverts. Then all water elements were burned into the DEM with 1 meter upper threshold and a decay factor accounting for possible mis-aligned stream data. The DEM was then handled with ‘Fast Breach Depressions’ tool that offers a good alternative to the traditional filling method to deal with artificial pits in DEMs (Lindsay, 2016). After, the flow direction and flow accumulation rasters were calculated with the D-infinity method (Tarboton, 1997) and the slope was calculated from the original DEM. "fi": "Topografinen kosteusindeksi (Beven & Kirkby, 1979) on laskettu koko Suomelle 16 metrisessä hilassa, joka on yhtenevä Luonnonvarakeskuksen monilähteisen kansallisen metsäinventaarion kartta-aineiston kanssa (Luke MS-NFI, 2015). Laskennassa hyödynnettiin resoluutioltaan 2 m *2 m pintamallia (kesäkuun 2016 saatavuuden mukaan) ja 10 m *10 m pintamallia muilta osin (Maanmittauslaitos 2017). Pintamalli ositettiin 500 metrin puskurilla SYKEn kolmannen jakovaiheen valuma-alueiden rajojen mukaan (SYKE, 2010) ja aggregoitiin keskiarvolla 16 metrin hilaruutuihin. Pintamallin esikäsittelyt ja kosteusindeksin laskenta toteutettiin valuma-alueittain python-koodilla Whitebox GIS-ohjelmistossa (Lindsay, 2014). Teiden ja uomien risteyskohdat muokattiin pintamalliin ensin, ja sen jälkeen uomaelementit poltettiin pintamalliin 1m maksimiarvolla niin että huomioitiin mahdolliset erimielisyydet maastotietokannan uomien sijainnin ja pintamallin välillä vaimennuskertoimella. Piantamlli esikäsiteltiin edelleen kaiverrusmenetelmällä (’fast breaching’), joka täyttämisen sijaan käsittelee mahdolliset veden virtauksen estävät ja pintamallin epätarkkuudesta johtuvat väärät kuoppakohdat kaivertamalla sopivan virtausreitin pintamalliin (Lindsay, 2016). Esikäsittelyn jälkeen virtaussuunnat ja virtaaman kerääntymisrasterit laskettiin ’D-infinity’ -menetelmällä (Tarboton, 1997), ja kaltevuus määritettiin alkuperäisestä muokkaamattomasta pintamallista. Lähdeaineistojen kuvioiden valinnassa käytettiin myös korkeus- ja metsänrajamalleja (MML ja Luke) asiantuntijoiden määritelmien perusteella. Yksityismaiden kuvioita tuotettiin ilmakuvatulkinnalla ja vastaaviin valtionmaiden poiminnassa käytettyihin aineistoihin tukeutuen. Lisäksi täydennyksiä saatiin maastotietokannan varvikkoalueista sekä kivikko- ja kallioalueista. Edellä mainittujen kuvioiden väleihin jäävät alueet liitettiin mukaan tunturialueeseen rasterianalyysin avulla. Ne ovat pääsääntöisesti suo- ja vesialueita. Aineiston lähteet on kuvattu rasteriaineiston tunturialue_lahde avulla. Sen luokitus on viitedokumentissa."

VESTY:stä on erotettu kaikki ruoppaus- sekä niitto- ja ruoppaustiedot sisältävät pisteet, jotka osuvat Suomen rannikolle (merialueet sekä 2 km rantaviivasta sisämaahan). Sisämaan alueet on jätetty VELMU-karttapalvelussa näkyvästä aineistosta pois. Aineistosta selviää ruoppaustoiminnan tyyppi (ilmoitus) sekä toiminta (ruoppaus, imuruoppaus, niitto, jne.). Aineistoa tarkasteltaessa on huomioitava, että kaikki ruoppausilmoitukset eivät ole välttämättä toteutuneita ruoppauksia. Tiedosto on visualisoitu VELMU-karttapalvelussa erivärisin symbolein sen mukaan, minä vuonna ilmoitus/ruoppaus on tehty, rajavuodeksi on asetettu 2012. Aineisto ei ole ladattavissa, mutta aineistoa voi tarvittaessa tiedustella SYKEstä VESTY-tietojärjestelmän ylläpitäjältä (lasse.jarvenpaa@ymparisto.fi).\n\n***\n\nDredging along the Finnish coast\n\nThe material is a combination of dredging data from VESTY (Water Information System for Planning) and from SW Finland ELY Center (Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment). The data shows dredging and mowing along the Finnish coast (sea areas extending 2 km inland). Other inland areas have been removed from the VELMU Map service data set. The point data shows the type (official notice, statement etc.) and the action (dredging, suction dredging, mowing, etc.). It should be noticed that not all of the informed dredging have necessarily been completed. The data has been visualized for VELMU Map service with a suitable symbol and color based on the year when the notification/dredging action has been completed. Year 2012 has been set as a limit. The data is not downloadable but it can be acquired from SYKE from the administrator of the VESTY database (asse.jarvenpaa@ymparisto.fi) \n\n***\n\nMuddringar vid kusten\n\nMaterialet är sammansatt av muddringsmaterial från VESTY (informationssystem för vattenbyggande) och från Egentliga Finlands NTM-central. Materialet visar muddringar och slåtter vid Finlands kust (havsområdet och 2 km inland) och innehåller information om typ (anmält) och sätt (muddring, sugmuddring, slått osv.). Notera att all anmälda muddringar inte nödvändigtvis är genomförda. Materialet är färglagt i VELMU-karttjänsten enligt när muddringen eller slåttningen har anmälts/utförts. År 2012 har givits som gräns. Materialet kan inte laddas ner, men förfrågningar gällande VESTY-materialet kan riktas mot SYKE som är upperhållare av VESTY (asse.jarvenpaa@ymparisto.fi)"

"fi": "Vesienhoidon järjestämisestä annetun lain (1299/2004) 9 §:n mukaan vesienhoitoalueella pohjavesien seuranta on järjestettävä niin, että niiden tilasta saadaan yhtenäinen ja monipuolinen kokonaiskuva. \nVesienhoidosta annetun asetuksen (1040/2006) mukaisesti seurantaohjelmassa on oltava riittävästi\nseuranpaikkoja, jotta pohjavesien tila ja tilan luontainen tai ihmisen toiminnasta aiheutuva lyhyen ja pitkän ajan vaihtelu voidaan arvioida luotettavasti.\n\nTämä aineisto sisältää EUlle 2016 raportoidut valtakunnalliset pohjaveden seurantapaikat. Seurantapaikkoja ovat sekä valtakunnalliset pohjavesiasemat että vesienhoitoon liitetyt pohjavesialueiden VHS-seurantapaikat. Seurantapaikat kuuluvat joko perusseurantaan tai toiminnalliseen seurantaan tai molempiin.\n\nPohjavesiasemilta saadaan perusseurannan tietoja mm. pohjaveden korkeudesta ja pohjaveden laadusta. Pohjavesiasemilta on tietoja koottu systemaattisesti vuodesta 1975 alkaen.\n\nPohjavesialueiden VHS-seurantapaikoilla tehdään vesienhoitoseurantaan liittyvää toiminnallista velvoitetarkkailua, mutta niitä käytetään myös perusseurantaan. Pohjavesialueilta saadaan pohjaveden laatuun ja määrään liittyviä havaintotietoja sekä alueen tutkimuksiin, riskikohteisiin ja maankäyttöön liittyviä tietoja. Tarkemmat tiedot seurantapaikkojen vedenlaadusta on löydettävissä ympäristöhallinnon Pohjavesitietojärjestelmästä (POVET)."

Aineisto on muodostettu luokittelemalla ja yhdistelemällä yhdyskuntarakenteen seurannan (YKR) 250 x 250 metrin ruutuja jalankulku-, joukkoliikenne ja autovyöhykkeisiin keskustaetäisyyden ja joukkoliikenteen palvelutason perusteella. Joukkoliikennevyöhykkeet kuvaavat joukkoliikenteen tarjontaa ruuhka-aikana, eikä vyöhyke kuvaa joukkoliikenteen todellista käyttöä kyseisellä alueella. Aineisto on laadittu Suomen 34 kaupunkiseudulle YKR-kaupunkiseuturajauksen mukaan. Mukana ovat kaikki ne vuoden taajamat, jotka ovat kuuluneet kaupunkiseutuun vuosina 1985–2015. Helsingin toiminnallisella alueella vyöhykkeet on laadittu kaikille taajamille. Aineisto kuuluu SYKEn avoimiin aineistoihin (CC BY 4.0)."

"fi": "Aineiston lähtötietona on käytetty yhdyskuntarakenteen seurantajärjestelmän 250 x 250 metrin ruudukkoa. Joukkoliikenteen aikataulut ovat peräisin kuntien tai liikennöitsijöiden omista sähköisistä aikatauluista ja reittioppaista. Aineisto kuvaa vuosien 2014–2015 arkipäivän joukkoliikennetarjontaa ruuhka-aikana klo 7–9 ja 15–18. Pysäkkiaineistona on käytetty Digiroad-aineistoa vuodelta 2011. On huomioitava, että aineiston lähtötietona ei ole joukkoliikenteen todellista käyttöä kuvaavia aineistoja, mikä tulee huomioida esimerkiksi joukkoliikennevyöhykkeiden tulkinnassa. Koska aineiston pienin mitattava yksikkö on ollut 250 x 250 metrin ruutu, joukkoliikennevyöhykkeissä käytetyt etäisyysvyöhykkeet on muodostettu siten, että vuorotiheyskriteerin täyttävä pysäkille on muodostettu 250 metrin etäisyysvyöhyke, ja ne ruudut, joiden keskipiste osuu etäisyysvyöhykkeen sisään, on luokiteltu vyöhykkeeseen kuuluvaksi. Jalankulkuvyöhykkeiden muodostamisen kriteereitä on päivitetty verrattuna vuotta 2010 kuvaavaan aineistoon, minkä takia näiden kahden poikkileikkausaineiston muutoksia ei voi verrata suoraan. Erityisesti muutos koskee keskustan reunavyöhykkeen alueellista laajuutta, joka on vuoden 2015 aineistossa huomattavasti aiempaa suppeampi."

Pintavedet voidaan nimetä tietyin edellytyksin keinotekoisiksi tai voimakkaasti muutetuiksi.\n\nPintavesimuodostumat kuuluvat johonkin seuraavista jaotteluryhmistä: järvi, joki ja rannikkovesi. Sama vesimuodostuma ei voi kuulua useaan jaotteluryhmään.\n\nPohjavesimuodostumat sisältyvät ympäristöhallinnon kartoittamiin ja luokittelemiin vedenhankintaa varten tärkeisiin ja vedenhankintaan soveltuviin pohjavesialueisiin (eli ns. I ja II luokan pohjavesialueet).\n\nTämä aineisto sisältää pinta- ja pohjavesimuodostumat. \n\nVesienhoidon suunnittelun 1. suunnittelukauden mukaiset vesimuodostumat raportoitiin EUlle vuonna 2010. Vesienhoidon suunnittelun 2. suunnittelukaudella vesimuodostumien rajauksia on tarkistettu sekä uusia vesistöjä on otettu mukaan. Nämä aineistot on raportoitu EUlle vuonna 2016. \n\nYmpäristöhallinnon sisäisessä käytössä on molempien suunnittelukausien mukaiset vesimuodostumat erillisinä aineistoina. SYKEn Avoin tieto -palvelussa on jakelussa vain 2. suunnittelukauden aineisto. Aineisto kuuluu SYKEn avoimiin aineistoihin (CC BY 4.0)."

"fi": "Vesimuodostumat on määritetty ELY-keskusten ympäristö- ja luonnonvarat -vastuualueilla ympäristöministeriön ohjeiden mukaisesti. Suomen rannikkovedet on tyypitelty jakamalla ne laajahkoihin alueisiin niiden luontaisten ominaispiirteiden perusteella. Rannikkovesien pintavesimuodostumia rajattaessa on otettu huomioon myös ihmisen toiminnan aiheuttamat muutokset. Rannikkovesien muodostumat ovatkin tyypiteltyjen alueiden osia. Järvet ovat pintavesimuodostumien määrittelyn kannalta selkeitä ja ne vastaavat pääosin ympäristöhallinnon järvirekisterissä esitettyjä alueita. Järvirekisterissä oleva järvi on voitu jakaa erillisiin pintavesimuodostumiin, jos järven eri osien ominaisuudet (kuten syvyys tai humuspitoisuus) ovat niin erilaiset, että se haittaa järven tyypin määrittämistä ja tilan luotettavaa arvioimista. Osien vähimmäispinta-alaksi suositellaan 5 km2. Vastaavasti järvirekisterissä erillisinä altaina olevat järven osat voidaan yhdistää silloin, kun se on tyypittelyn kannalta perusteltua. Joen pääuoma, sivujoet ja latvahaarat on jaettu kukin omiksi pintavesimuodostumikseen. Jos uoma on hydrologis-morfologisten olosuhteiden vuoksi tarpeen jakaa kahdeksi tai useammaksi pintavesimuodostumaksi, rajakohtana käytetään kohtaa, jossa virtaama muuttuu olennaisesti. Järvialtaiden pirstomat, erilliset lyhyet jokipätkät, jotka ovat kokoluokaltaan keskenään samanlaisia, voidaan yhdistää yhdeksi muodostumaksi. Pohjavesialueita on maassamme kartoitettu järjestelmällisesti jo noin 30 vuoden ajan. Pohjavesialueiden rajaus perustuu pelkästään luonnontieteellisiin tekijöihin niiden tietojen pohjalta, jotka ovat kartoitushetkellä käytettävissä. Pohjavesialueen hyvin vettä läpäisevä osa eli niin sanottu muodostumisalue on rajattu siten, että tällä alueella maaperän vedenläpäisevyys maanpinnan ja pohjavedenpinnan välillä on vähintään hienohiekan läpäisevyyttä vastaava. Muodostumisalueeseen kuuluvat myös sellaiset pohjavesialueeseen välittömästi liittyvät kallio- ja moreenialueet, jotka olennaisesti lisäävät alueen pohjaveden määrää. Pohjavesialueen raja osoittaa sitä aluetta, jolla on vaikutusta pohjavesiesiintymän veden laatuun tai muodostumiseen. Raja on pyritty ulottamaan hyvän tiiviysasteen omaavaan maaperään asti. Kaikissa tapauksissa rajausta ei ole voitu ulottaa tällaisiin kerrostumiin (esimerkiksi pohjavesialueilla, joissa vettä läpäisevä maaperä jatkuu pitkälle varsinaisen muodostumisalueen ulkopuolelle). Pohjavesialueen ulointa rajaa ei ole näissä tapauksissa piirretty hydrogeologisin perustein, vaan se on pyritty tekemään maastossa helposti havaittavaksi. Pohjavesimuodostumiksi on valittu I ja II luokan pohjavesialueet. Aineistossa ei erotella muodostumisalueen ja varsinaisen pohjavesialueen rajaa, vaan alue kuvataan yhtenäisenä."

"en": "The cadastral registry which is kept by the National Land Survey and a little over 70 municipalities (local detailed plan areas only) is one of the basic registries of our society. In the cadastral registry, which covers the entire area of the country, independent units of land ownership, i.e. properties and other registry units and transfers of unseparated parcels and interests in joint property units, have been individualised.\r\n\r\nThe cadastral registry location data is presented on the cadastral index map, which shows property and other register unit boundaries, boundary markers and property identifiers. \r\n\r\nProperty boundaries are marked with boundary markers in the terrain when forming a property. Boundary markers indicate the boundary lines of a property. A boundary can also be a natural terrain formation, such as a shore, drainage ditch or road. In sparsely populated areas, boundary markers have been defined with an accuracy of approx. 20 cm by GPS measurement since 2005. Coordinates of earlier boundary markers have been defined either by image measurement from aerial photographs or by digitalisation from maps. The accuracy of these boundary markers varies in general between 50 cm and 4 m, over 4 m in some cases. The accuracy of a boundary marker is indicated by its RSK value.\r\n\r\nIn population centres, the Cadastral index map is mainly based on the municipality's large scale base map material in the plans, the property data of which has been updated.\r\n\r\nThere can be inaccuracies in the location data of the Cadastral index map, because there are no exact coordinates for all boundary markers. The area of a register unit is shown in more detail in the cadastral survey documents (available in the archives of the keeper of the cadastral registry) and the terrain than on the Cadastral index map.\r\n\r\nCoordinate Reference System: ETRS89 / ETRS-TM35FIN (EPSG:3067)",
"fi": "Maanmittauslaitoksen sekä reilun 70 kunnan (vain asemakaava-alueet) ylläpitämä kiinteistörekisteri on yksi yhteiskunnan perusrekistereistä. Siinä on yksilöity koko maan kattavasti itsenäiset maanomistuksen yksiköt, joita ovat kiinteistöt ja muut rekisteriyksiköt sekä niistä luovutetut määräalat ja yhteisalueosuudet.\r\n\r\nKiinteistörekisterin sijaintitiedot esitetään kiinteistörekisterikartalla. Kiinteistörekisterikartalla on kiinteistöjen ja muiden rekisteriyksiköiden rajat, rajamerkit ja kiinteistötunnukset. \r\n\r\nKiinteistöjen rajat merkitään maastoon rajamerkeillä kiinteistöä muodostettaessa. Rajamerkit osoittavat kiinteistön rajalinjat. Raja voi olla myös luonnollinen selvä maastonkohta, kuten ranta, valtaoja tai tie. Haja-asutusalueilla vuodesta 2005 rajamerkit on kiinteistötoimituksissa määritetty GPS-mittauksilla n. 20 cm tarkkuudella. Sitä aiempien rajamerkkien koordinaatit on määritetty joko kuvamittauksilla ilmakuvilta tai digitoimalla kartoilta. Näiden rajamerkkien tarkkuus vaihtelee yleensä 50 cm ja 4 m välillä, joissain tapauksissa yli 4 m. Rajamerkin tarkkuus ilmenee sen RSK-luvusta.\r\n\r\nTaajamissa kiinteistörekisterikartta perustuu pääosin kunnan suurikaavaisiin kaavojen pohjakarttojen aineistoihin, joiden sisältämät kiinteistötiedot on ajantasaistettu.\r\n\r\nKiinteistörekisterikartan sijaintitiedoissa voi olla epätarkkuutta, koska kaikista rajapyykeistä ei ole tarkkoja koordinaatteja.
