The original description of the pre-print version of the code is below.\n\n# Overview\n\nThis archive contains the source code files for reproducing and customizing the plots from the article \"Modelling competing effects of cooling rate, grain size and radiation damage in low temperature thermochronometers\" by D. Whipp, D. Kellett, and I. Coutand. Details from the README.md file are shown below.\n\n## Code description and instructions for use\n\nThe programs provided for use with this manuscript will allow you to reproduce and customize the plots for your use.\nThis document provides some basic instructions for using the plotting programs, assuming you have some basic familiarity with using programming languages such as Python.\n\n### Attribution\n\nThe age prediction algorithms used for calculating apatite and zircon (U-Th)/He and apatite fission-track ages were written by [Richard Ketcham](https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2748-0409) at the University of Texas, USA. Results published using this software should cite the articles below:\n\nKetcham, R. A., Donelick, R. A., and Donelick, M. B.: AFTSolve: A program for multi-kinetic modeling of apatite fission-track data, Geol. Mat. Res., 2, (electronic), 2000.\n\nKetcham, R. A., Mora, A., and Parra, M.: Deciphering exhumation and burial history with multi-sample down-well thermochronometric inverse modelling, Basin Res., 30, 48-64, 10.1111/bre.12207, 2018.\n\n### Dependencies\n\n#### Age prediction algorithms\n\n- Apatite and Zircon RDAAM algorithm requires a C++ compiler.\n- AFT age and track length distribution algorithm requires a C compiler.\n\n#### Plotting software\n\nThe plotting software is available in the form of Python scripts. The following\nlibraries are needed for their use:\n\n- NumPy\n- Matplotlib\n- SciPy\n\n### Creating plots using the programs\n\n#### Preparations\n\n##### All figures\n\nAll figures rely on having Python 3 installed with the libraries listed above.\nIf you do not have Python installed, you can install [Anaconda](https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual#Downloads), for example.\n\n##### Figures 2 and 3\n\nIn order to reproduce Figures 2 and 3 you will first need to compile the `RDAAM_He` program.\nFor Linux or macOS, you can do the following (assuming you have a C++ compiler installed):\n\n```bash\ncd cpp\nmake\nmake install\ncd ..\n```\n\nThis will compile the program and copy it to the `bin` subdirectory.\n\nWindows users should compile things using the equivalent commands in a Windows shell.\n\n##### Figure 4\n\nIn addition to the step needed for Figures 2 and 3 you should compile the `ketch_aft` program.\nFor Linux or macOS, you can do the following (assuming you have a C compiler installed):\n\n```bash\ncd c\nmake\nmake install\ncd ..\n```\n\nThis will compile the program and copy it to the `bin` subdirectory.\n\nWindows users should compile things using the equivalent commands in a Windows shell.\n\n### Making the plots\n\nOnce you have done the necessary preparations, you can create the plots by simply running the Python programs in the `py` subdirectory.\nFor example, you can create Figure 2 by running:\n\n```bash\npython plot_age_tc_contours_figure2.py\n```\n\n### Modifying the plots\n\nIf you would like to customize the plots, simply edit the corresponding Python script for the plot of interest, save your changes, and run the script as shown above.\nIn general, the parameters that should be modified are between the lines below.\n\n```python\n# --- General model parameters ----------------------------------------------- #\n\n...\n\n# --- End of user-defined parameters ----------------------------------------- #\n# #\n# You probably don't need to modify anything below unless you know what you #\n# are doing :) #\n# #\n# ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- #\n```\n\nBelow are a few examples of values you might like to change in the plots.\n\n#### Figure 1\n\n##### Cooling rate options\n- Minimum cooling rate: `rate_min`\n- Slow cooling rate: `rate_slow` \n- 'Average' cooling rate: `rate_avg` \n- Maximum cooling rate: `rate_max` \n- Maximum temperature for cooling histories: `temp_max` \n\n##### Plotting options\n- Maximum time shown in plotted time-temperature histories: `time_max` \n\n#### Figures 2-4\n\n##### Cooling history options\n- Figure 2 only\n - Type of cooling history to use: `cooling_hist_type` \n - 1 = constant cooling rate (defined by `rate` and `temp_max`)\n - 2 = time-temperature points (defined by `time_hist` and `temp_hist` lists)\n- Figures 3, 4\n - Cooling rate range: `rate_min`, `rate_max`\n - Maximum temperature for cooling history: `temp_max`\n\n##### Mineral options\n- All figures\n - Apatite, zircon thorium concentration: `ap_thorium`, `zr_thorium`\n- Figures 2, 3 only\n - Apatite uranium concentration range: `ap_u_min`, `ap_u_max` \n - Zircon uranium concentration range: `zr_u_min`, `zr_u_max`\n - Apatite grain radius range: `ap_rad_min`, `ap_rad_max`\n - Zircon grain radius range: `zr_rad_min`, `zr_rad_max`\n- Figure 4 only\n - List of apatite uranium concentrations: `ap_u_list`\n - List of zircon uranium concentrations: `zr_u_list`\n - Apatite, zircon grain radius: `ap_rad`, `zr_rad`\n\n##### Plotting options\n- All figures\n - Number of points along x and/or y axes for age/closure temperature calculations: `n_inc`\n- Figures 2, 3\n - Plot type: `plot_type`\n - 1 = apatite only\n - 2 = zircon only\n - 3 = both apatite and zircon\n- Figure 4\n - Plot type: `plot_type`\n - 1 = Cooling rate versus closure temperature\n - 2 = Cooling rate versus age\n - 3 = Cooling rate versus age and closure temperature\n\n##### Age uncertainty fractions (0.1 = 10%)\n - Apatite (U-Th)/He: `ahe_uncertainty`\n - Apatite fission-track: `aft_uncertainty`\n - Zircon (U-Th)/He: `zhe_uncertainty`\n\n### Notes\n\n- The value for `n_inc` has been reduced from 101 to 21 in the scripts for plotting Figures 2 and 3. \n If you would like to reproduce those plots, you should increase `n_inc` to 101."

"en": "CS Track is launching a survey to gather citizen scientists’ (16 year old and older) perspectives on activities and forms of participation, learning and knowledge-building in citizen science (CS) projects. This document presents the information related to data rights, treatment and usage. \r\n\r\nThe aim of CS Track is to broaden our knowledge about CS and the impact CS activities can have. CS Track will do this by investigating a large and diverse set of CS activities, disseminating best practices and formulating knowledge-based policy recommendations in order to maximise the potential benefits of CS activities for individual citizens, organisations and society. This multi-perspective approach will allow us to shed light on the role of citizen science in society and social attitudes and emerging cultures in communities that engage with science and technology challenges."

For each dataset, the data has been devided into three parts, each stored in a separate folder.\n\n• FisheyeData \nThis folder has two subfolders. First subfolder contains metadata about the camera, including calibration parameters. Second subfolder is divided in either 4 or 8 subfolders depending on the recording settings i.e., number of cameras used to record the scene. They contain all fisheye frames in “OpenEXR” format (“EXR” files).\n\n• Audio \nThis folder contains the audio stream from the scene:\n - 8-channels “WAV” file\n - First-order Ambisonic “WAV” file\n\n• Stitched\nThis folder has an example of a stitched stereo panorama with Ambisonic audio. The stitching was performed by OZO Creator. The content was compressed with the video codec H.264 (“MP4” file)."

"en": "PeaceTalk Video Corpus pt. 2 is part of a broader video corpus of talk and interaction collected in various crisis management exercises that simulate real-life conflicts. The language used in the courses is English as a lingua franca. The instructors and trainees come from all around the world. The research method used in PeaceTalk is ethnomethodologically informed conversation analysis. The project describes efficient interactional practices and challenges in crisis communication. It focuses on how talk and interaction contribute to situation awareness, information flow and team work. The project collaborates with key organizers of crisis management training (Finnish Defence Forces International Center and Crisis Management Finland). The results will be used to inform crisis management training. \n\nThis part of the corpus includes audio and video recordings of interactions collected on three military observer courses organised in Finland (Haddington et al. 2020) with 88 participants who gave their permission to be recorded. The video data total 310 hours of recordings from car patrolling, meetings, negotiation and mediation (negmed), and first aid exercises. The technology used in data collection consists of vehicle-mounted autonomous recording systems, several roving handheld cameras, 360-degree cameras, PTZ (pan tilt zoom) cameras, and external microphones. Further research materials collected during the courses include photographs, ethnographic observations, dozens of pages of ethnographic notes from the course, the course materials (pre-materials and materials handed out during the course), slides from the lessons, scenario description, and other materials handed out during the course (e.g., Operational Aide Memoire, maps). \n\nHaddington, P. "en": "Datasets that support the major results of the study that quantifies the long-term consequences of climate change-induced drying for peatland photosynthesis in the level of individual species and vegetation community. Climate change and the related increases in evapotranspiration threaten to make northern peatlands drier. The carbon sink function in peatlands is based on the delicate balance between the photosynthesis and decomposition. However, little is known about how existing and invading plant species will photosynthesize under drier conditions. \nWe measured the species-level photosynthesis of vascular plants and mosses characteristic for the three peatland types (rich fen, poor fen, bog) within a 16-year water level drawdown (WLD) experiment from Lakkasuo peatland (61° 47’ N; 24° 18’ E), Finland. Species level photosynthesis was upscaled to site level using non-linear mixed effect models and species-vice leaf area data, specific leaf area data and moss cover and density data."

"en": "PeaceTalk Video Corpus pt. 3 is part of a broader video corpus of talk and interaction collected in various crisis management exercises that simulate real-life conflicts. The language used in the courses is English as a lingua franca. The instructors and trainees come from all around the world. The research method used in PeaceTalk is ethnomethodologically informed conversation analysis (CA). The project describes efficient interactional practices and challenges in crisis communication. It focuses on how talk and interaction contribute to situation awareness, information flow and team work. The project collaborates with key organizers of crisis management training (Finnish Defence Forces International Center and Crisis Management Finland). The results will be used to inform crisis management training.\nThis corpus consists of screen and audio recorded materials from a crisis management course organized in an online environment in 2021. The data total approximately 90 hours of recordings from synchronous (Zoom) sessions of a group of learners (18) and their small-group activities, and it is complemented with other materials, such as screen captures, saved chat discussions, course documents (e.g., task and scenario descriptions and instructions), observations from the instructors’ meetings and ethnographic fieldnotes. The participants in the course come from different geographical locations, and they have diverse areas of expertise. The recordings were carried out in two locations in Finland. The data are used to study the interactional and collaborative practices of the trainees in an online setting, focusing on the ways in which task-related goals are achieved and participation enhanced. The research contributes to a better understanding of the social ecology of technology-mediated interaction, the interactional competences needed to manage these situations, and the varying resources that come into play when coordinating mutual activities in distributed learning environments."

The training exercise was organized by The Swedish Armed Forces, The Swedish Defence University and Folke Bernadotte Academy. The exercise took place in several continents simultaneously. The recordings were made in Finland. The participants were trainees (soldiers) from all around the world. The used language is primarily English as a lingua franca, but the trainees used also other languages (e.g., Finnish and Swedish) to interact with each other. The video recordings were collected in two rooms. The first room was the brigade’s actual tactical operations centre (TOC) in which most of the activities were concentrated. The second room was a meeting room which hosted some of the meetings in the brigade. The recordings primarily include the activities of ten military officers (from four different countries) who worked in the TOC. In addition to this, military officers from other branches regularly visited the TOC. \n\nThe corpus includes approx. 300-400 hours of audio and video materials, which equals approx. 8 terabites. The video recordings were made with three cameras: two PTZ cameras (pan-tilt-zoom) and one 360-degree camera. One PTZ camera and the 360-degree camera recorded the events in the TOC. The other PTZ camera was used to record the interactions in the meeting room. The video streams were captured simultaneously on a desktop computer and an external hard drive. The 360-degree camera also recorded the audio in the TOC. In addition to this, ten microphones (with, e.g., heart-shaped and spherical pickup patterns) were positioned around the TOC for capturing all the interactions in the room. The meeting room had two microphones. All the microphones were connected to a sound console and a computer. In addition to the recordings, two researchers sat in the TOC during the exercise and wrote dozens of pages of ethnographic notes based on their observations and discussions with the instructors and the trainees. "en": "This data package includes data obtained from 10 rats, and each subject has their own folder. Each folder contains sub-folders of 1-3 task-free resting-state scans (BL0, BL1, and/or BL2). Additionally, the \"Odor\" folder includes the banana odor stimuli data. Each sub-folder contains the reconstructed and unprocessed fMRI file (swift.nii), unprocessed T2-weighted anatomical image (T2.nii), and fully processed fMRI data (s_pr_sc_c_rrr_swift.nii). The preprocessing included motion correction, co-registration, removal of volumes with clear motion and subsequent interpolation, regression of non-biological signals, and spatial smoothing.\n\nTwo scripts are also provided: makefile and mot_corr.sh - where the makefile script runs the preprosessing steps from swift.nii to smoothed and co-registered swift dataset apart from motion correction. The motion correction step is performed by the mot_corr.sh shell script."
