"en": "White matter datasets:\nWe prepared ten samples from rats' white matter for serial block-face scanning electron microscopy (SBEM) imaging. The SBEM images were acquired simultaneously at two resolutions, low and high resolutions, from the white matter. The low-resolution datasets were acquired at a large field of view, 200 um x 100 um x 65 um, with a voxel size of 50 nm x 50 nm x 50 nm. Two-thirds of the low-resolution images correspond to the corpus callosum and one-third to the cingulum. The high-resolution datasets were acquired at a small field of view, 15 um x 15 um x 15 um, with a voxel size of 15 nm x 15 nm x 50 nm from the corpus callosum. All the images were acquired from the ipsi- and contralateral hemispheres of sham-operated rats (n = 2) and rats with traumatic brain injury (n = 3).\n\nThe high-resolution datasets were automatically segmented using ACSON pipeline [1] and the low-resolution datasets using DeepACSON pipeline [2]. \n\nGray matter datasets:\nFrom three rats, one sham-operated (n = 1) and two with traumatic brain injury (n = 2), we collected two samples per brain: the ipsilateral and contralateral hemispheres of the layer VI of the primary somatosensory cortex. The high-resolution datasets of the somatosensory cortex were acquired at a small field of view, 15 um x 15 um x 15 um, with a voxel size of 15 nm x 15 nm x 50 nm using the SBEM technique. \n\nThe high-resolution datasets were automatically segmented using gACSON software [4].\n\nPlease, find the \"README\" file for further explaining details of the data.\n\nYou can find the \"Methods\" section in [1-4] for details related to SBEM image acquisition and image segmentation pipelines. "en": "This dataset includes four files of DNA sequence baits targeted to ultra-conserved elements (UCEs) identified from four different taxonomic groups of marine invertebrates: Annelida, Bivalvia, Gastropoda and Crustacea. UCE loci are genomic regions of high conservation that can be found throughout the genomes that can be extracted from the genome and sequenced for use in phylogenetic, phylogeographic and population genetic analyses. The UCE loci were located by aligning a minimum of five species’ genomes to a base genome in each taxonomic group and searching for overlapping highly conserved areas. The UCE baits were designed with screening coverage of 4X using the pipeline phyluce v. 1.6.6 (https://github.com/faircloth-lab/phyluce; Faircloth 2015). The analysis generated 3316 baits for 590 conserved loci in annelids, 4110 baits for 519 loci in bivalves, 25547 baits for 4367 loci in gastropods and 27545 baits for 3755 conserved loci in crustaceans. A final set of 3000 baits per taxonomic group (12000 baits in total) was created by Arbor Biosciences (Ann Arbor, MI, USA, arborbiosci.com) using their myBaits probe design support. "en": "The Corpus of British Isles Spoken English (CoBISE) is a corpus of geolocated automatic speech recognition (ASR) YouTube transcripts from the United Kingdom and Ireland, created for the study of linguistic and interactional phenomena in contemporary English. Transcripts are linked to videos accessible through the YouTube platform, allowing the study of multimodal phenomena. The corpus was created from 38,680 ASR transcripts from 497 YouTube channels, corresponding to more than 12,800 hours of video. The size of the corpus is 111,563,614 tokens. The channels sampled in the corpus are associated with local government entities such as county or city councils. The transcripts are primarily of recordings of public meetings, although other genres are also present. Video transcripts have been assigned exact latitude-longitude coordinates using a geocoding script.\n\nThe untagged corpus is contained in the file CoBISE_text_distributable_20211228.csv.gz. The PoS-tagged corpus with word timings is CoBISE_pos_distributable_20211228.csv.gz. The separator for both files is the pipe character \"|\". The files have the columns 'country', 'channel_title', 'channel_id', 'video_title', 'video_id', 'video_length', 'location', 'nr_words', 'text_pos' (or 'text', in the untagged version), and 'latlong'. Each row corresponds to an individual transcript. In order to comply with Fair Use provisions of US copyright law, the original ASR transcript files from YouTube have been transformed in this version of the corpus: Every 200 words, ten words have been replaced with \"@\". "en": "The Corpus of North American Spoken English (CoNASE) is a 1.25-billion-word corpus of geolocated automatic speech recognition (ASR) YouTube transcripts from the United States and Canada, created for the study of lexical, grammatical, and discourse-pragmatic phenomena of spoken language, including their geographical distribution, in North American English. The size of the corpus allows rare phenomena to be considered, and because the annotation includes the video IDs of transcripts, search hits can be manually inspected and video or audio data can be accessed. As the starting point of a scripting pipeline, the corpus can also be used for large-scale acoustic analyses of North American speech. The corpus was created from 301,847 ASR transcripts from 2,572 YouTube channels, corresponding to 154,041 hours of video. The size of the corpus is 1,252,066,371 word tokens. The channels sampled in the corpus are associated with local government entities such as town, city, or county boards and councils, school or utility districts, regional authorities such as provincial or territorial governments, or other governmental organizations. The transcripts are primarily of recordings of public meetings, although other genres are also present. Video transcripts have been assigned exact latitude-longitude coordinates using a geocoding script.\n\nThe untagged corpus is contained in the file conase_distributable.csv.gz. The PoS-tagged corpus with word timings is conase_pos_distributable.csv.gz. The separator for both files is the pipe character \"|\". The files contain the columns 'country', 'state', 'channel_title', 'video_title', 'video_id', 'name', 'type', 'channel_id', 'channel_username', 'video_length', 'location', 'address', 'nr_words', 'text_pos' (or 'text', in the untagged version), and 'latlong'. Each row corresponds to an individual transcript. In order to comply with Fair Use provisions of US copyright law, the original ASR transcript files from YouTube have been transformed in this version of the corpus: Every 200 words, ten words have been replaced with \"@\". "en": "Proximate analysis (PA) is a feedstuff analysis (Greenfield and Southgate 2003). PA mimics the animal digestion process and quantifies shares of organic and inorganic materials. It estimates the relative amounts of water (moisture), ash, crude fat (ether extract, lipid), crude protein, crude fiber and Nitrogen-free extract (sugars and starches) in a food item (Henneberg and Stohmann 1860).\n\nThis dataset comes from MammalBase (www.mammalbase.net) and is updated periodically.\n\nThe chemical compound data for proximate analysis of food items come from primary sources. The focus is on wild animal diet components and less conventional human foods, avoiding (but not excluding entirely) cultivated crops or bred animals. In particular, domesticated fruits are excluded from the database using the definition and classification of fruit commodities by FAO (1996). Domesticated fruits have less fibre, protein, and calcium but more sugar than wild fruits (Oftedal and Allen 1996; Schwitzer et al. 2009). Many of the reported values miss the moisture. For this reason, we discarded water and renormalised the chemical composition on a dry matter basis.\n\nTaxonomic standardisation of the food items\n\nWe matched all food item and chemical compound data against the taxonomic backbone from the Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS) (http://www.itis.gov) ITIS provides a taxonomic hierarchy, which\nenabled calculating average Chemical compound data for higher taxonomic levels.\n\nReferences\n\nAtwater WO, Woods CD, 1896. Two different geometries (Gyroid and Diamond) in three size scales were CT scanned two times: before and after an immersion corrosion test in 3.5 w% NaCl solution. A paper titled: 'The Effect of Lattice Size and Geometry on Localized Corrosion of Laser Powder Bed Fusion 316L Stainless Steel: Analysis with X-Ray Microcomputed Tomography' describes the research in full detail.
