"en": "The Finnish Reflection Experiment (FIRE) dataset consists of seismic reflection data from 2,104 km of common mid-point (CMP) lines. The four FIRE transects cross-cut several geologically and economically important features of Fennoscandian Shield such as the Archaean–Proterozoic boundary and Outokumpu ore district.\n\nThe original FIRE project took place between 2001 and 2005. It was conducted in co-operation between the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), the Institute of Seismology at the University of Helsinki and the Institute of Geosciences and the Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory of the University of Oulu. The seismic contractor in the FIRE project was Specgeofizika S.E. together with Machinoexport S.E.\n\nThe original report of the FIRE project can be found in the Special Paper 43 of the Geological Survey of Finland:\n\nKukkonen, I.T., and Lahtinen, R. (Eds.), 2006. Finnish Reflection Experiment FIRE 2001-2005. Geological Survey of Finland, Special Paper 43, 247 pages.\n\nThis dataset covers the FIRE profile 2 including additional part 2A. Data consist of pole coordinate files, common mid-point coordinate files, original field recordings, shot gathers, field statics, normal move-out and dip move-out stacks, migrated and depth-converted stacks, envelope sections and variable-area plots.",

Luotauslinjojen kokonaispituus on 2104 km. Ne leikkaavat useita geologisesti ja taloudellisesti tärkeitä Fennoskandian kilven alueita kuten arkeeisen ja proterotsooisen kuoren rajan sekä Outokummun malmialueen.\n\nAlkuperäinen FIRE-hanke toteutettiin vuosina 2001-2015 Geologian tutkimuskeskuksen (GTK), Helsingin yliopiston Seismologian instituutin ja Oulun yliopiston Seismologian instituutin sekä Sodankylän geofysiikan observatorion yhteistyönä. This data set contains high-resolution x-ray micro-tomography images of gas bubbles in frozen xylem elements (fibers and vessels) in branches of Betula pendula. The pixel size in the images is 0.36 µm. \n\nThere are two versions of the data set available here. Some of the data was accidentally omitted from the first publication of the data set, and Version 2 of this data set contains the complete data for all samples."

"en": "This dataset includes figures' data including supplementary information for the articles in question. These articles have been written from the results obtained in two projects: Academy of Finland and Business Finland where we studied oxidation of semiconductor surfaces, silicon and compound semiconductor ones. In particular, we attempted to modify oxidation effects by ultrahigh vacuum methods, and combine surface-science and electrical measurements in the material characterization. The data include mainly microscopic images, diffraction patterns, x-ray photoelectron spectra, and current-voltages curves."

"en": "Data includes ET tilt series and reconstructions from samples prepared on 1.2.2029 and 9.10.2019.\nSara Wickström, Kate Miroshnikova\n\nPrimary human epidermal progenitor cells were grown on elastomere membranes exposed for 0 min, 30 min, 180 min or 360 min 40% stretch. Samples were fixed with 2.5% GA in 5 mM CaCl2, 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer, pH 7.4 at RT for 5 min, following 1 h fixation on ice. Following fixation all the steps were performed on ice. Samples were first washed 5 times with 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer and blocked for 15 min in 10 mM glycine/10 mM potassium cyanide in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer (blocking buffer). Following blocking samples were rinsed 1X with 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer and then stained with 10 μM DRAQ5 in 0.1% saponin in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer for 10 min, followed by washing 3x for 5 min with above-described blocking buffer. Samples were then incubated with 2.5 mM diaminobezidine tetrahydrochloride in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer and placed onto a glass-bottom dish, monolayer side down, then mounted onto Zeiss confocal microscope surrounded by ice-packs to maintain a near 4°C temperature and imaged using a 63X oil immersion objective lens and 633 nm filter set to continuously illuminate the membranes for 10 min. Samples were then rinsed 3x for 5 min with 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer, following a 1 h stain with 1% osmium tetroxide, 2 mM CaCl2, 1.5% potassium ferrocyanide in 0.15 M sodium cacodylate buffer. Post staining, samples were washed twice for 2 min with double-distilled water, dehydrated in ethanol series prior to gradual infiltration into epoxy (TAAB 812). After polymerization in Epon overnight at 60°C, a pyramid was made using a razor blade on the area of cells of darker, photo-oxidized nucleus. 230-nm-thick sections were cut with a 35° diamond knife and collected on Pioloform-coated single slot copper grids.\nDual axis tilt series were recorded from a semi-thick section using SerialEM software running on a Tecnai FEG 20 TEM operated at 200 kV, high tilt specimen holder and a 4k by 4k Ultrascan CCD camera. The tilt series were acquired at one-degree intervals between ± 62° at nominal magnification of 14,500x and 10-nm gold particles placed on both grid faces served as fiducial markers for alignment. Prior alignment and reconstruction with IMOD software package the images were binned by two providing a pixel size of 1.5 nm. "en": "Data includes ET tilt series and reconstructions from samples prepared on 9.6.2010 and 28.6.2010.\n \nbEND5 cells were grown on 1.5-mm sapphire discs coated with gelatine. After 1 h treatment with 1.25 µM LtA, the cells were covered with 20% BSA in DMEM and high-pressure frozen. Substitution was carried out in 0.3% uranyl acetate, 2% OsO4, and 10% water in ethanol. Specimens were first kept at −90 °C for 16 h, after which the temperature was increased by 10 °C/h to 0 °C. The specimens were then washed with cold ethanol and acetone, gradually infiltrated into Epon at RT and flat embedded. Sections 90 nm thick were cut parallel to the sapphire disc and imaged using Tecnai FEG 20 microscope operated at 200 kV. Images were collected with a 4k × 4k Ultrascan 4000 CCD camera at 19,000×, providing a 2× binned pixel size of 1.2 nm. For a tilt series, the specimen was tilted at 1° intervals using a high-tilt specimen holder between ±62°. The images were acquired by SerialEM software, and dual-axis tomography was applied. The alignment of tilt series and tomographic reconstruction were done with IMOD software package using 10-nm colloidal gold particles overlaid on the top of the section as fiducial markers. Loss-of-function experiments demonstrated that two components of the sieve plate, moesin and annexin II, were positive and negative regulators of fenestra formation, respectively. Biochemical analyses showed that moesin is involved in the formation of an actin–fodrin submembrane cytoskeleton that was essential for fenestra formation. The link between the fodrin cytoskeleton and the plasma membrane involved the fenestral pore protein PV-1 and Na,K-ATPase, which is a key regulator of signalling during fenestra formation both in vitro and in vivo. These findings provide a conceptual framework for fenestra biogenesis, linking the dynamic changes in plasma membrane remodelling to the formation of a submembrane cytoskeletal signalling complex.</jats:p>"

After fixing, the samples were washed 3× 2 min with Na-phosphate buffer, pH 7.4. The samples were then post-fixed with 1% osmium tetroxide for 1 h at room temperature, dehydrated with a graded series of ethanol, incubated with transitional solvent acetone, and finally embedded gradually in epoxy. Dual axis tilt series were recorded from one or consecutive semi-thick (230-250 nm) sections using Tecnai FEG 20 microscope operating at 200 kV. The sections were tilted at one-degree intervals using a high-tilt specimen holder between ±62°. Images were acquired with SerialEM software (using a 4 k × 4 k Ultrascan 4000 CCD camera at nominal magnification of 9,600× (5 and 6) or 11,500× (1 and 2). "fi": "Datan keruun kriteerit:\n\n1. Vaatteiden ostolakkoa koskevat postaukset bloggaajilta seuraavien kriteerien mukaisesti.\n\n2. Vaatteiden ostolakko toteutettu vuosien 2014 –2020 aikana. \n\n3. Aineistoa haettiin Googlen hakukoneen sekä Blogilistan avulla (blogit.fi). Käytettyjä hakusanoja olivat ”ostolakko” sekä ”muodin ostolakko”. \n\n4. Blogikirjoituksissa tuli käsitellä ostolakkoa vähintään kahdessa (2) postauksessa. Kuitenkin, mikäli bloggaaja käsittely lakon etenemistä pidemmällä aikavälillä koostetusti yhdessä postauksessa, blogi voitiin hyväksyä mukaan. \n\n5. Mukana bloggaajat, jotka ovat olleet ostolakossa vähintään 3 kk. \n\n6. Blogit suomenkielisiä.\n\nMuita kerättyjä tietoja (mikäli ilmenee blogista):\n-blogin verkko-osoite\n-blogin nimi\n-kuvaus blogista\n-bloggaajan sukupuoli\n-bloggaajan asuinpaikka\n-tulkittu motivaatiotekijä ostolakkoon\n-onko bloggaaja osittain vai kokonaan ostolakossa eli ei osta edes käytettyjä vaatteita. \n-koskeeko ostolakko vain vaatteita vai myös muita tavaroita\n-ostolakon ajankohta\n-bloggajakohtainen lakkoa koskevien postausten lukumäärä\n\nMuuta: Ennen datan keruuta bloggaajiin oltiin yhteydessä sähköpostitse tutkimusluvan vahvistamiseksi. Aineiston blogit ovat pääasiassa elämäntyyliblogeja, joissa bloggaajat kertovat elämästään. Blogit käsittelevät muun muassa Zerowaste -ajattelua, KonMaritusta, minimalistista elämäntapaa, puutarhanhoitoa, muotia, matkailua ja ruokaa."
