"fi": "Tärkeimpiä kaupallisia kalastusalueita kuvaava aineisto koostuu kahdesta tasosta. Verkkoalueet-tasolle on koottu I-luokan kaupallisten kalastajien ilmoittamat verkkokalastusalueet yhdeksi polygoniksi, johon on yhdistetty useita pienempiä alueita. Rysäpyydys-tasolla on ilmoitettujen kiinteiden pyydysten paikat pisteinä. Aineisto ei sisällä troolipyyntialueita. Kalastajien identifiointitiedot on poistettu aineistosta.\n\nAineistoa tarkasteltaessa on huomioitava, että pyyntipaikat eivät ole staattisia vaan ne käytännössä vaihtelevat sen mukaan mitä kalaa on pyydettävissä. Tällä hetkellä käyttämättömät paikat voivat olla jatkossa tärkeitä ja käytössä olevia paikkoja voi poistua pyynnistä jatkossa.\n\nAineistoa on kerätty kalastajahaastatteluilla I-luokan kaupallisilta kalastajilta vuosien 2010–2018 aikana seuraavasti:\n\nSaaristo- ja selkämeri 2010-2014 Merenkurkku 2014 Pohjanlahti ja Perämeri 2016-2018 Suomenlahden aineisto on saatu Uudenmaan ja Kaakkois-Suomen ELY-keskuksilta 2012.\n\nHaastatteluissa kalastajat ovat yhdessä haastattelijoiden kanssa piirtäneet pyydyspaikat kartoille. Näiltä kartoilta verkkokalastusalueet ja kiinteiden pyydysten paikat on digitoitu paikkatietokantaan Lukessa.\n\nAineistosta puuttuu II- ja III-luokan kaupallisten kalastajien pyyntipaikat, mutta aineisto kattaa pääosan I-luokan kalastajien pyyntipaikoista. Kaupallisten kalastajien luokitus muuttui vuoden 2017 alusta siten, että pääosa I-luokan kalastajia kuuluu nykyisin 1 ryhmään (tulot yli 10 000 €/v) ja muut 2 ryhmään.\n\nAineistolähteet: Luke, ELY-keskukset ja Österbottens Fiskarförbund."

"en": "Baltic grey seal censuses are carried out during the annual molting season in May-June. The main haul-out locations are surveyed two or three times during the census period and number of seals are counted from aerial images. Annual regional population size estimate is based on survey day with the maximum numbers of the seals observed. The gained result is, however, the minimum population size estimate, because proportion of the seals is not visible on land; even during the best census conditions. The number and distribution of the population are represented during the spring time molting season, but during the other time of the year, numbers and distribution in sea areas may be different from that.\n\nThe size of Baltic grey seal population during the spring time molting season in Finnish waters are shown in this map with ICES grid-resolution (50 km x 50 km). The known molting islands are shown with red circles. The darker color of grid, the more seals there are. The value of the grid is an average on results of annuls survey dates of that grid.\n\n#### Field descriptions\n- fid = unique id generated by geoserver\n- id = unique id for the rectangle\n- adult_average = average count of adults in current rectangle\n- ices_rktl_name = name of the ices rectangle\n- year"

NB: The Finnish acronym for this corpus used to be \"Digilib\", but the acronym \"klk\" and the short name klk-fi-1874-dl are recommended instead of Digilib-Pub-1874-dl.\n\nThis corpus consists of the OCR results of the material published before 1875 in the corpus of publications digitized by the National Library of Finland. This part of the corpus is so old that any copyrights in it must have expired before 2015.\n\nThe full corpus, as FIN-CLARIN has it, is organized in eleven branches named arc01, ..., arc11. Each document is stored as a zip archive containing scanned image files in different resolutions, and the OCR results as XML documents. "und": "<jats:p>&lt;p&gt;Galactic cosmic rays (GCR) are energetic particles originating from galactic or extra-galactic sources. When they arrive inside our heliosphere, they are modulated by the magnetic irregularities in the solar wind flow from the Sun, deflecting and slowing down the GCR particles. The level of this modulation varies according to solar activity, especially the 11-year solar cycle. The heliospheric modulation potential, denoted by &amp;#981;, describes the average energy loss of particle in MV and quantifies the level of modulation. It can be determined using ground-based neutron monitor (NM) measurements of GCRs by multiple stations. Here we use the most recent version of the NM yield function and a RMSE-minimization method to compute a new and more accurate version of the modulation potential &amp;#981; and station-specific scaling factors &amp;#954;, which can be used to scale the level of count rates to the theoretical NM count rate given by the model. The new version offers daily resolution of &amp;#981; and can be conveniently updated with new measurements, stations, or updates to datasets whenever they might occur. The scaling factors and their variation can be used to scale the data for physical analyses or to identify outliers, errors or physical phenomena which do not match with the model.&lt;/p&gt;</jats:p>"

"en": "This is a collection video recordings of people's everyday activities in nature. These cover activities such as foraging, hiking, orienteering, and search-dog training. The research materials also include notes of ethnographic observation done in online environments, interviews with research participants and publicity materials relating to activities in nature. Conversation analysis has been used as the main method of analysis. \n\nThe data have been collected by following the ethical guidelines and criteria of the Finnish National Board for Research\nIntegrity (2019), including gaining participants’ informed consent for being recorded for research purposes. Due to the personal data contained in the video materials, the materials cannot be stored or made public via data repositories.\n\nCurrently the corpus includes 52 different sets of recordings, and about 100 hours of video recordings in total (March 2023). In many cases the same event has been recorded with multiple cameras and audio recorders. The materials have been collected mainly during the Academy of Finland financed research project HANS – Human Activity in Natural Settings (2015-2019)."

Maa- ja metsätalousministeriö katsoi Paliskuntain yhdistyksen selvityspyynnön sekä saamiensa tilanneraporttien ja kuulemiensa asiantuntija-arvioiden perusteella, että on olemassa riittävät syyt ryhtyä mahdollisen poronhoitoon kohdistuneen tuhon tai sen uhkan selvittämiseen nykyisen Porovahinkolain (987/2011) mukaisesti. Tämä selvitystyö on ohjattu lain mukaan Luonnonvarakeskukselle. Luonnonvarakeskus keräsi huhti-kesäkuussa webropol-kyselytutkimusaineiston paliskunnista. Kyselyaineisto on osin maa- ja metsätalousministeriölle tehtävän selvityksen pohjana. Kyseessä on viranomaisselvitys ja viranomaisaineisto.\n\nKaikille poronhoitoalueen paliskunnille laadittiin ja lähetettiin Webropol-internetkysely, jossa pyydettiin paliskuntia arvioimaan sekä syksyn, talven ja kevään 2019–2020 ajalta että paliskunnan alueen tavanomaisen vuoden osalta sää- lumi- ja kaivuolosuhteita sekä porojen ravinnonsaantia ja kuntoa. Samalla paliskunnilta kysyttiin ruokinnan kestoon ja kustannuksiin sekä erilaisiin poronhoitotöiden määriin liittyviä arvioita talvella 2019–2020 verrattuna edellisen kolmen talven vastaaviin. Paliskunnilta tiedusteltiin myös talven 2019–2020 aikana havaittuja ja arvioituja kuolleiden porojen määriä sekä mahdollisten sairauksien esiintymistä poroissa. Tavoite oli nimenomaan kartoittaa poikkeuksellisten lumi-, kaivu- ja ravinnonsaantiolosuhteiden vaikutuksia porojen kuntoon ja terveyteen sekä havaittujen ja todennäköisten porokuolemien määriin. Samalla pyydettiin paliskunnan arviota tulevan teurastuskauden vasaprosentista ja teurasmääristä verrattuna aikaisemman kolmen vuoden keskimääräisiin lukuihin. Lopuksi paliskuntia pyydettiin arvioimaan syitä vaikeaan laiduntilanteeseen sekä kartoitettiin näkemyksiä paliskunnan valmiudesta reagoida poikkeuksellisiin laidunolosuhteisiin ja käynnistää omia toimenpiteitä niihin. Edelleen kartoitettiin paliskuntien näkemyksiä nykyiseen lakiin ja järjestelmään porotaloutta kohdanneiden poikkeuksellisten luonnonolojen aiheuttamien menetysten ja tuhojen ehkäisemiseksi ja korvaamiseksi valtiovallan taholta, sekä poikkeusolosuhteiden kuormittavuutta paliskunnissa. Kyselyn tulokset vedettiin yhteen ja esitettiin kysymyksittäin taulukoina, graafeina ja karttoina. Kyselyyn vastasi määräajassa 47 paliskuntaa 54 paliskunnasta."

Animals were anaesthetized with CO2 dart tranquilizer instrument and Vectronic-type GPS GSM- or IRIDIUM collars were fitted. GPS collars updated their location every fourth hour. Also 1 or 2- hour fix rate was used during summer season. Data includes about 600 000 fixes from 123 collared females. Data from collars is stored to WRAM data base (Umeå Center for Wireless Remote Animal Monitoring Dept. for Wildlife, Fish and Environmental Studies SLU). Raw data was modified to density raster separately to seasons (summer, winter and migration seasons). For density raster data, all marked individuals and fixes were pooled within season and population. Density raster (size 5x5 km) for winter and summer was created using ArgGis Desktop 10.6.1 Spatial Analyst tools and point density function with options: circle radius = 2000 meters. Density raster (size 5x5 km) for migration corridors was created using ArgGis Desktop 10.6.1 Data management tools; from point to lines-tool, Spatial Analyst tools; line density function with options: circle radius = 2000 meters. Data was stored to georeferred tif – format (FGDBR) with projection EUREF_FIN_TM35FIN. Data is highly skewed. Therefore, for visual inspection, we recommend that user should categorize data to at least four classes and use geometric class interval where smallest class was left open.",

"en": "We compared decomposition processes of three deciduous tree leaves (Alnus sp., Betula sp., and Populus tremula) in lake water together and without lake water microbiome, which was killed by autoclaving to separately examine the microbial community succession and decomposition process without the effect of lake water microbiome. We followed microbial activity and community succession during the first three weeks and quantified microbial biomass and the proportion of fungal versus bacterial decomposers by sterol and phospholipid fatty acid (PLFA) analyses.\r\n\r\nThe present dataset contains the raw sequencing files that were used to identify the microbial and fungal communities of the samples collected during the study."

Koealat sijaitsevat lohkolla, jossa maan eteläosassa on neljä koealaa. Lohkot ovat pääilmansuunnissa 16 km etäisyydellä toisistaan. Maan pohjoisosassa koealat sijaitsevat kolmen koealan lohkoilla, jotka ovat itä-länsisuunnassa 32 km ja pohjois-eteläsuunnassa 24 km etäisyydellä toisistaan. Maan pohjoisosalla tarkoitetaan Lapin ja Koillis-Suomen metsäkeskusten aluetta ja maan eteläosalla näiden metsäkeskusten eteläpuolista aluetta.\n\n### Suokoealat\nTutkimuksen turvenäytteenotto on kohdistettu niille pysyville koealoille, joiden keskipiste on suolla. Joukosta on lisäksi rajattu pois entiset suopellot ja polttoturvekentät sekä sellaiset koealat, joiden keskipiste on alle 15 m etäisyydellä tiestä, pellosta tai rakennuksista. Mikäli etäisyys uuteen peltoon, tiehen, polttoturvekenttään tai rakennukseen on ollut alle 40 m koealan keskipisteestä koealalla ei ole otettu turvenäytteitä. Pohjoisosasta maata on rajattu pois koealat, jotka sijaitsivat lämpösumma-alueella <750 dd. Yhteensä näytteitä on otettu maan eteläosasta n. 858 koealalta ja pohjoisosasta 120 koealalta eli yhteensä 978 suokoealaa koko Suomesta. Näytteenotto ja muut mittaukset on tehty vain sillä suokuviolla, jossa koealan keskipiste sijaitsee. Koealat ovat kolmen aarin kokoisia."

"en": "The experiment was technically successful. First day and night of the beam time was allocated for the calibration of the DSSD. A known proton emitter 151-Lu was produced, and sufficient amount of proton decay events were observed at the DSSD. The calibration run was followed by a scan of excitation energy in order to produce and identify 149-Lu via it's proton decay. Data was collected with three different beam energies. 149-Lu was not observed during the online analysis, however, it might still be in the recorder traces. Last 2.5 days of the beam time were allocated for a further study of a fast proton activity observed during the 149-Lu scan without traces. This activity turned out to be the proton decay of a known 3/2+ state of 147-Tm. As a side product, a sufficient amount p tagged prompt gammas of 147-Tm was collected."
