The licenses for the data sources are listed in the acknowledgements section. By using this dataset, you must comply to the licenses of the data sources.\n\n# Documentation\n\nThe dataset uses compressed TFRecords to store the dataset samples.\n[https://www.tensorflow.org/tutorials/load_data/tfrecord](https://www.tensorflow.org/tutorials/load_data/tfrecord)\n\nExample code for parsing and using the dataset can be found from:\n[https://github.com/janne-alatalo/sar-change-detection](https://github.com/janne-alatalo/sar-change-detection)\n\nOne sample is constructed from the following features:\n\n`image_location`: \nGeographic centroid point of the sample in Well-known text representation in\n`EPSG:4326` coordinate system. The string is generated with\n`ogr.Geometry.ExportToWkt()` method which uses the `POINT(LATITUDE LONGITUDE)`\nformat.\n\n`dem_rast`: \nDigital Elevation map from the location that is projected to same projection\nwindow with the SAR images (same 512x512 resulution with same pixel\ngeographical alignment)\n\n`forestmask`: \nBinary mask (`1 == forest` or `0 == non-forest`) that shows the forested areas in\nthe scene. The pixels have same alignment as the SAR images and DEM. This data\nwas not used in the final results in the paper, however during the development\nphase an experiment was conducted where the loss function weighted forested\narea pixels more than non-forest pixels. The result was that the custom loss\nfunction was not much different from vanilla MSE, thus the result was not\nreported in the paper. Both bands are in the same image, meaning that the image\nshape is (2, 512, 512) with band order (VV, VH).\n\n`target_image_data_take_id`: \nThe data take id of the `target_image`. Identifies the data take from which the\ntarget image is cropped from.\n\n`target_image_start_time`: \nThe data take start time. Identifies the data take from which the target image\nis cropped from and tells when the image is acquired. The input\nimages are ordered from oldest to newest:\n`input_image_start_time[0] < input_image_start_time[-1]`.\n\n\nFurthermore, the validatation dataset samples also include the statistical\nsimulated changes that are described in the paper. The dataset includes the\nfollowing additional features:\n\n`simulated_change_image`: \ntarget_image that includes the simulated statistical change.\n\n`simulated_change_mask`: \n512 x 512 image that indicates the simulated change pixels with non 0 values.\nNOTE that the mask value can be anything between 0 and num_simulated_changes. 1\nindicates the pixels associated with the first simulated change, 2 with the\nsecond and so on...\n\n`num_simulated_changes`: \nIndicates the number of simulated changes in the simulated_change_image.\n\n`img_superpixel_map` and `img_superpixel_sets`: \nHelper features for the simulated change algorithm implementations. "fi": "Luke tuottaa vuosittain valkohäntäpeuran kanta-arvion. Vuodesta 2016 alkaen kanta-arvio on pohjautunut bayeslaiseen tilastomallinnukseen, jossa vasatuottoon ja kuolleisuustekijöihin perustuva populaatiomalli on ehdollistettu erilaisille kannan kokoa kuvaaville indikaattoreille. Näitä ovat metsästäjiltä saadut saalistiedot ja jahtikauden päätteeksi tehdyt arviot paikallisesta jäävän kannan koosta, liikennemääriin suhteutetut peurakolaritilastot ja valkohäntäpeuraa saalistavan ilveskannan koko. Mikäli käytettävissä on valkohäntäpeurajahdin aikana kerättyjä näköhavaintoja, ne tarkentavat vasatuoton arviointia. Havainnointi myös luo pohjaa kannanarvioinnin menetelmälliseksi kehittämiseksi, jossa pyritään erityisesti alueellisten erojen aiempaa parempaan huomioimiseen.\n\nHelmikuun 15. päivä 2023 päättyneen metsästyskauden jälkeen kannan kokoa analysoitiin sekä hirvitalousalueisiin (HTA) perustuvalla mallilla että koko maan mallilla. HTA-malli asettaa aineiston alueelliselle tarkkuudelle koko maan mallia suurempia vaatimuksia, minkä vuoksi sen avulla voitiin mallintaa valkohäntäpeurakannan kehitystä vain viimeisen seitsemän vuoden ajalta.\n\nAjankohtaista valkohäntäpeuratietoa on julkaistu myös Luonnonvaratieto-palvelussa (https://luonnonvaratieto.luke.fi/) Palvelu kokoaa yhteen Luonnonvarakeskuksen tutkimustietoa, mukaan lukien riistalajien kannanarvioinnin, havainto- ja saalistilastoja ja sekä tietoa riistantutkimuksesta. Viime vuonna avatun palvelun myötä esim. valkohäntäpeuran saalis- ja havaintotilastot ovat tulleet suuren yleisön saataville.\n\nYhdysvaltain Minnesotasta Suomeen 1930-luvulla tuotu valkohäntäpeura on viimeisen parinkymmenen vuoden aikana runsastunut voimakkaasti ja siitä on tullut Lounais-Suomen tärkein riistaeläin. Tiheän kannan alueella lajista on aiheutunut haittoja, joista peurakolarit lienee taloudellisesti merkittävin. Myös valkohäntäpeuran aiheuttamat maa- ja metsätalouden vahingot ovat kannan runsastumisen myötä lisääntyneet ja ainakin paikallisesti merkittävää on myös pihoihin ja puutarhoihin ja luonnonkasvillisuuteen kohdistuvat vaikutukset.\n\n## Kanta-arviot verotussuunnitelman pohjana\n\nRiistanhoitoyhdistykset vastaavat metsästysasetuksen 8§ mukaisesti oman alueensa hirvieläinten verotussuunnitelman laatimisesta. Verotussuunnittelun apuna voidaan käyttää Luken tuottamaa kanta-arviota. Verotussuunnittelun tarkoitus on suunnitella tulevalla metsästyskaudella tarvittava hirvieläinten saalismäärä ja -rakenne sekä tarvittava pyyntilupamäärä, jolla asetetut tavoitteet voidaan toteuttaa. Pyyntiluvanhakijat päättävät itsenäisesti hakemastaan pyyntilupamäärästä ja Suomen riistakeskus ratkaisee pyyntilupahakemukset julkisena hallintotehtävänä."

The data contains selected Vlasiator outputs in the tail current sheet box, approximately spanning the following coordinates in the simulation coordinate system (equivalent to the GSE/GSM coordinate systems):\nX = [-1.6e+08, -2.8e+07 ] m ~= [-25, -5] RE\nY = [-1.28e+08, 1.28e+08] m ~= [-20, 20] RE\nZ = [-3.2e+07, 3.2e+07 ] m ~= [-5, 5] RE\nCoordinate data is given in meters; in general, values are in SI units.\nThe variables given are, all represent cell averages:\n- Magnetic field, 'vg_b_vol', units of T\n- Electric field, 'vg_e_vol', units of V m^-1\n- Proton number density, 'proton/vg_rho', units of m^-3\n- Proton bulk velocity, 'proton/vg_v', units of m s^-1\n- Proton parallel temperature, 'proton/vg_t_parallel', units of K\n- Proton perpendicular temperature, 'proton/vg_t_perpendicular', units of K\n\nThe data is given in the VTK format (XML binary), on the Vlasiator refined grid ('SpatialGrid'); filenames of the form 'natgeo_tailbox_minimal_{:04d}.vtu', with the enumeration matching the simulation time in seconds.\n\nThe subfolder 'VDFs' contains four proton velocity distribution functions shown in the Palmroth et al. "fi": "Puruveden Hummonselällä 1992-1997 tehtyjen koekalastusten yhteydessä kerättyjen näytekalojen tiedot. Koekalastuksessa käytettiin ns. VEKARY-verkkosarjaa, yleiskatsausverkkoja ( kaksi eri mallia), nuottia, troolia ja paunetteja. Koekalastuksia myös harvempia verkkoja sisältävillä jadoilla. Kalastukset 4 eri habitaatilla (kasvillisuusranta, hiekka-kivikkoranta, matala ulappa, syvä ulappa) arvotuilla paikoilla. Matalan ja syvän ulapan pyynnit syvyysvyöhykkeittäin (pinta, välivesi ja pohja). Näytekaloista mitattu pituus, paino, sukupuoli, sukukypsyys ja vuosirenkaiden etäisyydet. Useita lajeja. Aineisto pääosin avovesikaudelta. Puruvedessä muikkukato 1985-1994.\n\nAineisto on koottu laajan Puruvesi-tutkimukset yhteydessä. Työ on tehty yhteistyössä Itä-Suomen Yliopiston kanssa Saimaan toimipaikasta käsin. Käytetään järven eri habitaattien kalayhteisöjen ja niiden vuorovaikutusten kuvaamiseen, sekä koekalastusmenetelmien vertailuun. Kaloista mitattu pituus, paino, sukupuoli, ikä. Lajeja mm. muikku, siika, särki, ahven ym."

"fi": "Puruveden Hummonselällä 1992-1997 tehtyjen koekalastusten saalis- ja pyyntiponnistustiedot. Koekalastuksessa käytettiin ns. VEKARY-verkkosarjaa, yleiskatsausverkkoja ( kaksi eri mallia), nuottia, troolia ja paunetteja. Koekalastuksia myös harvempia verkkoja sisältävillä jadoilla. Kalastukset 4 eri habitaatilla (kasvillisuusranta, hiekka-kivikkoranta, matala ulappa, syvä ulappa) arvotuilla paikoilla. Matalan ja syvän ulapan pyynnit syvyysvyöhykkeittäin (pinta, välivesi ja pohja).\n\nPuruveden Hummonselän kokelastus 1992 - 1997 tehtiin yhteistyössä Itä-Suomen yliopiston kanssa. Tarkoituksena selvittää eri kalalajien esiintymistä Puruveden eri habitaateissa: litoraali (kasvillisuus- ja kivikkoranta), pelagiaali (syvä, matala) eri vuodenaikoina. Lisänä koekalastusmenetelmien vertailu."

"en": "Ions Identified By Vocus.csv contains the information of ions identified by Vocus from the emission of the downy birch tree. It consists of the m/z value, mass defect and molecular formula. The mass defect plot seen in the paper uses data from this file. \nEmission Rate.csv file contains the emission rates of 49 ions that are further discussed in the paper. The emission rates are converted from the raw data measured by the Vocus. The conclusions drawn and mentioned in the article use the data from this file. The gaps seen in the dataset are points of calibration which have been removed to include only the emissions observed by Vocus. \nEnvironmental Parameters.csv file consists of environmental parameters measured inside the branch chamber.\nAmbient Parameters.csv file consists of environmental parameters observed in the ambient environment in Hyytiälä. It was downloaded from FMI open weather data. The ambient weather data was taken from https://en.ilmatieteenlaitos.fi/download-observations on 22-04-2021. \nAll the time series data has a time resolution of 20 minutes."

"en": "Monthly gridded netcdf data from ECHAM6.1 and NorESM1 models using MacSP-v2 anthropogenic aerosol descriptions, including all nine anthropogenic aerosol plumes (files named \"SP2005\") or with South and East Asian aerosol plumes turned off (files named \"NOASIA\"). Both models used their intrinsic slab ocean configurations and background aerosols. Files contain last 60 years of climate model data from a 100-year equilibrium climate model run for current day climate. *T_DECOMPOSITION* -files contain calculated surface temperature responses associated with each energetic pathway (see original publication describing the method). The data has been regridded to the same resolution for both models, with 47 hybrid sigma pressure levels and, 144 latitudes and 96 longitudes (see mygrid -file). Variable names follow standard CMIP5 naming protocol in \"RENAMED\" files, which contain the energetic flux and temperature (+precipitation) data. \"FORCING\" files contain the top-of-atmosphere total (direct+indirect), direct and indirect forcing components due to removal of Asian aerosols, calculated online with double radiation calls during the climate runs.. Also, a python code \"RY15\" for the calculation of Taylor decomposition is included (the code works only for SW components, a more complete code for the full decomposition will be available shortly from Kalle Nordling!). Data are available based on CLARA-A2.1 surface albedo data record combined with two radiative kernels; CloudSat-CALIPSO (CC) and CERES-based albedo change kernel (CACK). Upper and lower limits of estimated radiative feedback uncertainty envelopes are provided in the data file.\n\nThe entry also provides the principal python codes used in the study. "fi": "Nimiarkiston asiakirjanimikokoelmat sisältävät henkilön- ja paikannimiä, jotka on poimittu pääosin Kansallisarkistossa säilytettävistä 1500-luvun tiliasiakirjoista. Myös myöhemmältä ajalta on jonkin verran aineistoa. Aineisto sisältää noin 625 000 arkistolippua ja se on järjestetty historiallisen maakuntajaon mukaisesti Varsinais-Suomen, Satakunnan, Hämeen, Pohjanmaan, Savon, Uudenmaan, Käkisalmen Karjalan ja Viipurin Karjalan kokoelmiin. Mukana on myös nimiä MMH:n Hämeen ja Satakunnan isojakoasiakirjoista ja Inkerin Pähkinälinnan läänin asiakirjanimistöä.\n\nKokoelmiin poimituista nimistä on pyritty aina merkitsemään nimiasun lisäksi paikannustieto hallintopitäjän, neljänneskunnan ja kylän tarkkuudella, mikäli tiedot ovat selvinneet asiakirjoista, vuosi, jolta asiakirja on peräisin, Kansallisarkiston alkuperäisen asiakirjan säilytysnumero, asiakirjan laatu ja folionumero. Kyseessä on siis viitekortisto, jonka avulla pääsee käsiksi alkuperäiseen asiakirjaan. \n\nAineisto on ladattavissa ja selattavissa pdf-muodossa. Käyttäjä voi myös ladata tiedostot omalle koneelleen.\n\nAsiakirjanimikokoelmat on osa Nimiarkistoa, johon sisältyy etupäässä paikannimiä Suomesta ja jonkin verran myös Suomen rajojen ulkopuolelta. "en": "The study investigates multilingualism, language awareness and language-aware practices in early childhood education in Finland. The data consists of questionnaire data collected from early childhood education staff through an online survey. The survey contains both closed and open questions and was conducted using Webropol software in 2017. The research finished in 2022. The survey questionnaire and the responses of respondents who gave their consent for further use of the data (research, teaching, education) have been published in the JYX database of the University of Jyväskylä.\r\n\r\nThe Survey is available freely as a separate publication under this dataset.",
"fi": "Tutkimus käsittelee monikielisyyttä ja kielitietoisuutta sekä kielitietoisia toimintatapoja varhaiskasvatuksessa Suomessa. Aineisto koostuu verkkokyselyn avulla varhaiskasvatuksen henkilöstöltä kerätystä kyselytiedosta. Kysely sisältää sekä suljettuja että avoimia kysymyksiä ja se on toteutettu Webropol-ohjelmistolla vuonna 2017. Tutkimus on päättynyt vuonna 2022. Tässä julkaistaan anonymisoitu osa aineistoa siltä osin, jolta vastaajat suostumuksensa sen julkaisuun antoivat sekä kyselymittari.\r\n\r\nItse mittari on myös vapaasti ladattavissa omana alajulkaisunaan tämän aineistokokonaisuuden alla."
