"en": "Vitality 90+ is a multidisciplinary research project examining living arrangements, health and functional ability, quality of life, care needs and everyday life of the oldest old individuals in the city of Tampere, Finland. Participants living at home were asked who they live with and whether someone helps them at home with tasks such as dressing, bathing, and cooking. Personal assistance was further investigated by asking who helps the most at home in daily life and whether a home care worker visits at least once a week. Additionally, participants were asked what they consider to be the best form of housing in their current situation. The functional ability of all respondents was assessed by asking if they can move indoors, walk 400 meters, climb stairs, dress themselves, and get in and out of bed. Morbidity was investigated by asking if the participants have any doctor-diagnosed diseases and how they rate their own health. Information was also collected on the participants' vision and hearing abilities, as well as symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and pain. The social relationships of the participants were examined by asking about their marital status and mapping out when they last met their children, talked on the phone with relatives or friends, or went outdoors. Socioeconomic status was investigated by asking what occupation the participants held for most of their working life and their highest level of education completed. Finally, participants were asked how satisfied they are with their lives, whether they feel lonely, and if the status of older people has changed since their childhood. Since proxy respondents were allowed in the study, participants were also asked whether they had completed the survey themselves. Background variables in the dataset include the participant's gender, marital status, and education.",
"fi": "Tervaskannot 90+ on monitieteinen tutkimusprojekti, jossa tarkastellaan kaikkein vanhimpien tamperelaisten asumiseen, avun saamiseen, toimintakykyyn ja arkeen liittyviä asioita. Kotona asuvilta tutkittavilta kysyttiin kenen kanssa he asuvat ja auttaako joku heitä kotona esimerkiksi pukeutumisessa, peseytymisessä ja ruoanlaitossa. Henkilökohtaista avunsaantia selvitettiin tarkemmin kysymällä kuka auttaa eniten kotona jokapäiväisessä elämässä ja käykö kotihoidon työntekijä ainakin kerran viikossa. Lisäksi kysyttiin, mikä olisi vastaajan mielestä nykytilanteessa paras asumismuoto. Kaikkien vastaajien toimintakykyä selvitettiin kysymällä kykenevätkö tutkittavat liikkumaan sisällä, kävelemään 400 metriä, kulkemaan portaissa, pukeutumaan, ja pääsevätkö he vuoteesta. Tutkittavien sosiaalisia suhteita selvitettiin kysymällä tutkittavan siviilisääty ja kartoittamalla koska viimeksi he ovat tavanneet lapsiaan, puhuneet puhelimessa sukulaisten tai ystävän kanssa tai ulkoilleet. "en": "The data consists of interviews with humanities teachers in secondary schools and upper secondary schools, in which they discuss cultural heritage and digitalisation in education. The interviews cover issues such as teachers' definitions, perceptions and experiences of cultural heritage and how digitalisation is reflected in their teaching. The interviews have been conducted mainly in English and one interview was conducted as a group interview with two people. Interviewees were asked, among other things, how they understand and define cultural heritage in their teaching and how digitalisation and digital environments affect cultural heritage in teaching. In addition, interviewees were asked about the sources and digital platforms from which they retrieve materials for teaching, and how they retrieve and evaluate them. The interviews were also interested in the cultural heritage perspective, how certain phenomena were dealt with in learning situations, and in what contexts and for what purposes digital devices were used in teaching contexts. Background information includes the gender of the interviewee, the classified age, the subject taught and regional information. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD.",
"fi": "Aineisto koostuu yläasteen sekä lukion humanististen aineiden opettajien haastatteluista, joissa he käsittelevät kulttuuriperintöä ja digitalisaatiota opetuksessa. Haastatteluissa käsitellään muun muassa opettajien määritelmiä, käsityksiä ja kokemuksia kulttuuriperinnöstä sekä siitä, miten digitalisaatio näkyy heidän opetuksessaan. Haastattelut on toteutettu pääsääntöisesti englanniksi ja yksi haastattelu toteutettiin kahden hengen ryhmähaastatteluna. Haastateltavilta kysyttiin muun muassa, miten he ymmärtävät ja määrittelevät kulttuuriperinnön opetuksessaan sekä miten digitalisaatio ja digitaaliset ympäristöt vaikuttavat kulttuuriperintöön opetuksessa. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin, mistä lähteistä ja digitaalisilta alustoilta haastateltavat hakevat materiaaleja opetukseen sekä miten niitä haetaan ja arvioidaan. Haastatteluissa oltiin myös kiinnostuneita kulttuuriperinnön näkökulmasta, miten tiettyjä ilmiöitä käsiteltiin oppimistilanteissa sekä missä yhteyksissä ja mihin tarkoituksiin digitaalisia laitteita käytetään opetustilanteissa. Taustatietoina ovat haastateltavan sukupuoli, luokiteltu ikä, opetettava aine sekä aluetieto. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla haastatteluja on helppo selata."

"en": "The dataset consists of self-administered written texts on the experiences people with disabilities have had with dismissive behaviour and being talked past in their everyday lives. The data was collected using FSD's Penna textual data collection tool. The writing guidelines directed participants to write a free-form account of their experiences of dismissive behaviour and being talked past as a disabled person, for example, when service providers talk to a person who is assisting the disabled person instead of talking directly to the disabled person. Participants were also asked how they had reacted to such situations, how often they encountered this type of behaviour, and what they thought caused this type of behaviour. Background information included the participant's gender, age group and type of municipality of residence. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",
"fi": "Aineisto koostuu kirjoituksista, joissa vastaajat käsittelevät kokemuksiaan ohipuhumisesta, eli kohtaamastaan ohittavasta käytöksestä. Vastaajat ovat 18-vuotta täyttäneitä henkilöitä, joilla on jokin vamma. Aineisto on kerätty Tietoarkiston Penna-työkalulla. Kirjoituskutsussa vastaajia pyydettiin kertomaan vapaamuotoisesti siitä, millaisia kokemuksia heillä on ohipuhumisesta ja ohittavasta käytöksestä, jolloin esimerkiksi erilaiset palveluntuottajat puhuvat vammaisen henkilön ohitse vammaista henkilöä avustavalle henkilölle. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin millä tavalla tämänkaltaisiin tilanteisiin on reagoitu sekä kuinka usein ohittavaa käytöstä on kohdannut. Lopuksi pyydettiin vielä pohtimaan mistä ilmiön ajatellaan johtuvan. Taustatietoina aineistossa on sukupuoli, ikäryhmä sekä asuinpaikkakunnan tyyppi. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla kirjoituksia on helppo selata."

"en": "The dataset contains information on Finnish adults with cerebral palsy, collected from different sources during 2008-2010, for the project \"Well-being and rehabilitation during the life-cycle of adults with CP\". The project was conducted by the Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities (FPD). There were four panel discussions with 10 participants. The participants were adults with CP of differing ages, gender and economic activity. Panel discussions covered the participants' life situations, managing everyday life, services provided for people with CP, disability benefits, rehabilitation, study opportunities, employment, interpersonal relations, physical ability, attitudes of others towards people with CP, and the impact of ageing. The data contain transcriptions of the panel discussions, all other material related to the panel discussions (plans, programmes, assignments given to the participants) as well as diaries written by the participants and e-mail discussions between them. Another data source was a postal survey containing open-ended questions on rehabilitation services, physical ability, methods of maintaining physical ability, dreams, future plans and fears. There were 54 respondents. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",
"fi": "Aineisto sisältää CP-vammaisten aikuisten hyvinvointi ja kuntoutus elämänkaarella -projektissa suomalaisilta CP-vammaisilta aikuisilta kerättyä tietoa. Tietoarkistoon on arkistoitu projektissa toteutettujen paneelikeskustelujen litteraatiot sekä kokoontumisiin liittyvät suunnitelmat, ohjelmat, ennakkotehtävät ja oheismateriaali. Myös panelistien kirjoittamat päiväkirjat ja paneeliryhmän väliset sähköpostikeskustelut on arkistoitu. Lisäksi aineisto sisältää kuntoutusta koskeneen kyselyn vastaukset. Projektissa koottiin 10 henkilön paneeliryhmä, joka kokoontui keskustelemaan neljä kertaa vuosien 2008-2009 aikana. Kokoontumisissa tutustuttiin ryhmäläisten elämäntilanteisiin ja keskusteltiin monipuolisesti esimerkiksi arkielämässä selviämisestä, CP-vammaisille tarjotuista palveluista ja niiden käytöstä, vammaisetuuksista sekä kuntoutuksesta. Lisäksi aiheina olivat muun muassa opiskelumahdollisuudet, työllistyminen, ihmissuhteet, apuvälineet, toimintakyky, vammaisuuden näkyminen ulospäin, ympäristön suhtautuminen ja asenteet sekä liikkuminen ja ikääntymisen vaikutukset. Panelistien väliset sähköpostikeskustelut liittyivät samoihin aiheisiin, lisäksi sähköpostia käytettiin myös kokoontumisjärjestelyistä sopimiseen ja kuulumisten vaihtamiseen. Kuntoutuskyselyssä esitettiin kysymyksiä muun muassa kunnon ylläpitämisestä, apuvälineiden käytöstä, tulevaisuuden unelmista, tavoitteista ja peloista, kuntoutuspalveluiden tarpeista, kuntoutussuunnitelmasta sekä kuntoutuspalvelujen saamisen vaikutuksista omaan elämään. Odt-tiedostojen lisäksi tilaajalle toimitetaan html-data, jonka hakemiston avulla eri tiedostoihin tutustuminen on helppoa."

"fi": "Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin vammaisia ihmisiä heidän arkipäiväisestä elämästään ja suhtautumisestaan erilaisiin asioihin itsemääräämisen ja ihmisarvon näkökulmasta. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu 25 haastattelusta, jotka on tehty eri puolilla Suomea. Aluksi vastaajilta kysyttiin taustatiedot: vastaajan ikä ja se, onko vastaaja aina asunut paikkakunnalla. Taustatietojen kysymisen jälkeen vastaajilta tiedusteltiin heidän koulutuksestaan ja opinnoistaan, koulutustaustasta ja opiskeluun liittyvistä toiveista. Seuraavaksi tutkimuksessa kyseltiin vastaajien työelämästä. Kysymykset vaihtelivat siitä riippuen kävikö vastaaja ansiotyössä vai ei. Mikäli he kävivät, tutkimuksessa tiedusteltiin muun muassa millaista työtä he tekevät, pitävätkö he työstään, pystyvätkö he päättämään omista töistään ja ovatko he helposti saaneet työpaikkansa. Mikäli vastaaja ei ollut ansiotyössä, kysyttiin heiltä esimerkiksi mistä he saavat elantonsa, onko jotain työtä mitä vastaajat toivoisivat tekevänsä, ovatko he hakeneet mitään työtä ja onko heitä syrjitty työhönotossa. Tätä seuraavat kysymykset koskivat toimeentuloa ja kuluttamista. Kysymyksissä kyseltiin vastaajilta heidän kulutustottumuksistaan, siitä riittävätkö heidän rahansa päivittäisasioihin ja ylimääräiseen kulutukseen. Tämän jälkeen vastaajia pyydettiin lyhyesti kuvailemaan tavallinen arkipäivänsä. Seuraavaksi vastaajilta kysyttiin heidän suhteestaan kotiinsa; pitivätkö he asunnostaan, oliko se sopiva vammaiselle ihmiselle, mitä he tekevät mieluiten kotonaan ja pitävätkö he asumispalveluissa asumisesta (jos vastaaja asui asumispalvelussa). Tämän jälkeen vastaajilta kysyttiin heidän suhteestaan ympäristöönsä, kuten käyvätkö he usein kaupungilla, mitä he mielellään siellä tekevät ja matkustelevatko he usein. Seuraavat kysymykset koskivat vastaajien harrastuksia. Vastaajilta kysyttiin asioista joita he harrastivat tai haluaisivat harrastaa. Tämän jälkeen vastaajia pyydettiin luonnehtimaan arvomaailmaansa luonnehtimalla suhdettaan uskontoon, politiikkaan ja tasa-arvoon. Seuraavat kysymykset koskivat vastaajien perhettä, oliko vastaajilla omaa perhettä ja/tai lapsia ja miten perhe-elämä sujuu. Tämän jälkeen vastaajia pyydettiin kertomaan jotain lapsuudenkodistaan ja vanhemmistaan. Tämän jälkeen tutkimuksessa kyseltiin vastaajien sosiaalisista suhteista ja sosiaalisesta tuesta. Vastaajilta kysyttiin heidän ystävistään ja ystävyyssuhteistaan, saavatko he tarpeeksi tukea pärjätäkseen ja tarvitsisivatko he enemmän ihmisiä tai tukea elämäänsä. Tämän jälkeen vastaajilta kysyttiin vielä palveluista, niiden riittävyydestä ja niin edelleen. Lopuksi vastaajia pyydettiin kertomaan jos haastattelusta oli jäänyt käsittelemättä jotain heille tärkeää. "en": "The survey charted views on the safety, particularly housing safety and safety in the neighbourhood, of people living in supported housing. The respondents were employees working in supported housing services for disabled people, people in psychiatric rehabilitation, and other people requiring such services. Trust was also charted as well as safety of employees and education needs relating to safety. The respondents were first asked which things caused insecurity to customers in supported housing at home and outside home, whether customers knew how to act in threatening situations, and whether customers took responsibility for their own safety. Views were surveyed on products and services that would improve home safety of customers (e.g. fire detector, safety switches in electronic devices, personal aid/care) and measures that would improve safety in the neighbourhood (e.g. improved lighting on streets and in parks, more events in the community). Opinions were charted on how much customers trusted the employees in the housing unit as well as on how much the customers trusted in the availability of support and guidance. The respondents' views were charted on communication at work, ability to aid and guide customers in issues related to safety and security, need for additional training, and whether their education matched their tasks at work. Experiences of violence and threats of violence from customers were examined as well as whether the respondents had notified anyone about the experiences. Finally, the respondents were asked whether their workplace provided the employees with safety guidelines and how much they trusted different authorities (e.g. social services, police, municipal decision makers). Background variables included the respondent's gender, age, and employer as well as number of years worked for the employer, size of the municipality where the workplace was located, and main cause (disability/condition) for customers' need for support.",

Kyselyssä tarkastellaan työntekijöiden mielipiteitä toimintayksiköiden asukkaiden turvallisuudesta ja turvattomuudesta sekä työntekijöiden omasta turvallisuudesta, luottamuksesta sekä koulutustarpeista turvallisuusasioissa. Aluksi työntekijöiltä kartoitettiin taustatekijöitä, kuten työskentely-yksikköä, sekä sitä, mikä ensisijaisesti aiheuttaa heidän asiakkailleen avun tai tuen tarvetta. Vastaajilta kysyttiin, millaisten asioiden he kokivat aiheuttavan asiakkailleen turvattomuutta kotona asumisessa (esimerkiksi pelko tulipalon syttymisestä, avun saannin puute) ja kodin ulkopuolella (esimerkiksi liikenneonnettomuus, väkivallan pelko). Asiakkaiden turvallisuuteen liittyen kysyttiin myös, tietävätkö asiakkaat kuinka toimia uhkaavissa tilanteissa ja ottavatko he vastuuta omasta turvallisuudestaan. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin, millaiset seikat, kuten palovaroitin, turvapuhelin tai henkilökohtainen apu, parantaisivat asiakkaiden turvallisuutta kotona ja millaiset toimenpiteet, kuten valaistuksen tai liikennevalvonnan lisääminen, edistäisivät turvallisuutta asuinalueella. Luottamukseen liittyen vastaajilta kysyttiin, kuinka hyvin he arvelivat asiakkaiden luottavan yksikön työntekijöihin ja avun ja tuen saantiin, sekä kuinka työntekijät luovat luottamuksellisen suhteen asiakkaisiin. Tämän jälkeen työntekijöiltä tiedusteltiin työyhteisöön ja koulutukseen liittyviä seikkoja. Heiltä kysyttiin, välitetäänkö työyhteisössä riittävästi olennaista tietoa asiakkaista työtehtäviin liittyen, vastaako oma koulutus työtehtäviä ja riittääkö oma osaaminen asiakkaiden opastamiseen turvallisuusasioissa. Lisäksi työntekijät saivat kertoa, millaista koulutusta turvallisuusasioissa he kaipaisivat lisää tai vaihtoehtoisesti miksi he eivät kokeneet lisäkoulutusta tarpeelliseksi. Vastaajilta kysyttiin vielä, olivatko heidän asiakkaansa käyttäytyneet väkivaltaisesti häntä kohtaan tai uhkailleet häntä väkivallalla ja mikäli näin oli, mihin he olivat ilmoittaneet tapahtumasta. Mikäli työntekijä ei ollut ilmoittanut tapahtumasta kellekään, kysyttiin syytä tähän. Tämän jälkeen tiedusteltiin, onko työpaikalla toimintaohjeet turvallisuusasioihin, uhkailu- ja väkivaltatilanteisiin sekä kriisitilanteisiin. Lopuksi vastaajia pyydettiin kertomaan, paljonko he luottivat eri tahoihin, kuten sosiaali-, terveys- ja vammaispalveluihin, poliisiin ja kunnan päättäjiin, sekä oliko heillä muuta sanottavaa turvallisuusasioihin liittyen. Taustatekijöinä aineistossa on vastaajan ikä, sukupuoli, työpaikka sekä väestömäärä kunnassa, jossa työskentely-yksikkö sijaitsee."

"en": "The study focused on the educational paths of disabled and deaf young people, concentrating particularly on the time following the completion of lower secondary and upper secondary education, and it utilised an approach based on personal experience. The data consist of 22 interview transcriptions in Finnish. The respondents recounted their experiences of being disabled in relation to studying and education. Other main interview themes were their study history, motivation and interest in studying, educational performance, limitations in relation to studying, their friends and family, success in adapting to the world of education, work with disabled people's organisations, and experiences with working life. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",
"fi": "Tutkimuksen kiinnostuksen kohteena ovat vammaisten ja kuurojen nuorten kouluttautuminen. Erityistä huomiota kiinnitetään peruskoulun jälkeiseen aikaan ja toisaalta toisen asteen koulutuksen jälkeiseen aikaan. Koulutuspolkuja tutkittaessa käytetään kokemuksellista lähestymistapaa, yhteiskunnan sekä sen rakenteiden ja instituutioiden kontekstissa. Haastateltavat kertovat itse kokemuksistaan suhteessa koulutukseen ja kokemuksestaan vammaisuudesta. Haastateltavilta kysyttiin heidän opiskeluhistoriastaan, motivaatiostaan ja kiinnostuksestaan opiskelua kohtaan, koulumenestyksestään, koulutuksessa kohdatuista esteistä ja kannustimista, kavereistaan ja vanhemmistaan, sopeutumisesta koulutusmaailmaan, työskentelystään vammaisjärjestöissä ja heidän kokemuksiaan työelämästä. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla kirjoituksia on helppo selata."

The stories were collected for the project \"Well-being and rehabilitation during the life-cycle of adults with CP\" conducted by the Finnish Association of People with Physical Disabilities (FPD). They were instructed to write about their life events and experiences, everyday life, and about people and things that had most affected their lives. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",
"fi": "Aineisto sisältää CP-vammaisten aikuisten kirjoittamia elämäntarinoita, joita on kerätty Invalidiliiton CP-vammaisten aikuisten hyvinvointi ja kuntoutus elämänkaarella -projektissa. Kirjoittajina on 20 eri ikäistä CP-vammaista suomalaista. Tarinat avaavat näkökulmia siihen, millaiset mahdollisuudet CP-vammaisella henkilöllä on ollut yhteiskunnassa eri aikakausina. Kirjoittajia pyydettiin kirjoittamaan tositarinoita elämästään, jonka avulla voitaisiin lisätä ymmärrystä siitä, mitä CP-vammaisena aikuisena eläminen Suomessa on. Ohjeistuksessa neuvottiin kirjoittamaan vapaamuotoisesti elämänkulun vaiheista, elämäntapahtumista sekä merkittävistä käännekohdista menneisyydessä, nykyisyydessä ja tulevaisuudessa. Lisäksi kirjoittajia pyydettiin kertomaan siitä, kuinka he ovat kokeneet elämänsä ja kuinka arki sujuu sekä mitkä asiat ja ketkä ihmiset ovat eniten vaikuttaneet oman elämän muotoutumiseen. Kirjoittajista 18 kirjoitti tarinansa itse; kahdessa tarinassa tutkija on avustanut toimimalla kirjurina ja tutkittavat ovat hyväksyneet tarinansa muodon."

"en": "The survey charted views on the safety, particularly housing safety and safety in the neighbourhood, of people living in supported housing. The respondents were family members, relatives, spouses or other acquaintances of people in supported housing (disabled people, people in psychiatric rehabilitation, and other people requiring supported housing). The respondents were asked which things they mostly worried about in the life of the person in supported housing (e.g. managing with chores, accident, lack of aid/care), whether the person had ever been aggressive towards them or others, which things caused insecurity to the person outside his/her home, whether the person knew how to act in threatening situations, and whether the person took responsibility for his/her own safety. Views were surveyed on products and services that would improve home safety of the family member in supported housing (e.g. fire detector, safety switches in electronic devices, personal aid/care) and measures that would improve safety in the neighbourhood (e.g. improved lighting on streets and in parks, more events in the community). The respondents' trust in and opinions on the employees aiding or caring for the family member were charted. Finally, the respondents were asked whether they were able to help and advise the family member with safety and security issues, how often they saw the family member, and how much they trusted different authorities (e.g. social services, police, municipal decision makers). Background variables included the respondent's gender, age, relationship to the person in supported housing, disability/condition of the person in supported housing causing the need for support, distance from own home to the home of the person in supported housing, and number of years the family member had lived in his/her current apartment.",

Aluksi kartoitettiin omaisten taustatekijöitä, kuten ikää, sukupuolta, syytä, joka ensisijaisesti aiheuttaa läheiselle avun tai tuen tarvetta, suhdetta läheiseen, etäisyyttä läheisestä sekä aikaa, jonka läheinen on nykyisessä asunnossaan asunut. Omaisilta tiedusteltiin, millaiset asiat huolestuttavat läheisen elämässä, kuten kotiaskareista selviytyminen tai tulipalon syttyminen, sekä onko läheinen koskaan käyttäytynyt aggressiivisesti tätä kohtaan. Omaisilta kysyttiin myös, voivatko he itse auttaa ja neuvoa läheistään turvallisuusasioissa ja toimiiko läheinen neuvojen mukaisesti. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin, kuinka usein he tapaavat läheistään sekä syitä siihen, jos vastaaja ei mielestään tavannut läheistään riittävän usein. Tämän jälkeen kartoitettiin vielä luottamusta siihen, että eri tahot, kuten sosiaalipalvelut, mielenterveyspalvelut ja poliisi toimivat kansalaisten parhaaksi sekä annettiin mahdollisuus kertoa muita turvallisuuteen liittyviä asioita."

"en": "The study charted Finnish diabetes, heart and cancer patients' experiences of using eHealth services in 2017. Main themes included usefulness of the online services as well as frequency and purpose of use. Each group of patients was provided with a unique questionnaire, although most questions were repeated in all questionnaires. Responses to the common questions were combined in the data, and group-specific questions were marked with letters. The data were collected as part of the Competent workforce for the future (COPE) project funded by Academy of Finland. The purpose of the research was to establish how citizens and health care professionals can be supported in using eHealth services. First, the respondents were asked to assess the usefulness of different eHealth services such as Omakanta.fi (personal health records and prescriptions), digital private health care services and public eHealth services. Usefulness of different online services that provide health-related information, such as Duodecim Käypähoito.fi (Current Care Guidelines, clinical practice guidelines) and Terveyskirjasto.fi (information on health, medication and care guidelines), was also examined. The respondents were asked about their purposes for using eHealth services, for example, assessment of treatment need, contacting health care professionals, and connecting with peers for support. Questions on the support and guidance provided by the public sector in the use of eHealth services were also presented. Finally, the respondents were asked multiple open-ended questions that related to their positive and negative experiences of using eHealth services as well as the kinds of digital health services they would want to use in the future. Background variables included the respondent's gender, age, and municipality of residence (classified), as well as whether they or their child had diabetes (diabetes patients only) or other information on their health (heart and cancer patients).",
"fi": "Aineistossa käsitellään diabetes-, sydän- ja syöpäpotilaiden kokemuksia sähköisten terveyspalveluiden käytöstä vuonna 2017. Teemoja ovat sähköisten palvelujen hyödyllisyys, käyttöaktiivisuus, haasteet ja toiveet. Eri potilasryhmille oli omat kyselyt, vaikka suurin osa kysymyksistä toistuivat samoina kaikissa lomakkeissa. Kyselyt yhdistettiin samanmuotoisten kysymysten osalta ja ryhmäkohtaiset kysymykset on merkitty dataan kirjaintunnisteella. Aineisto on kerätty Suomen Akatemian rahoittamassa COPE - Osaavan työvoiman varmistaminen sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon murroksessa -hankkeessa (päätös numero 303606). Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten kansalaisia ja terveydenhuollon henkilöstöä voitaisiin tukea virtuaalisten palveluiden käytössä. Kyselyiden alussa vastaajalle listattiin erilaisia sähköisiä terveyspalveluja, kuten Omakanta.fi tai Hyvis.fi, ja pyydettiin arvioimaan niiden hyödyllisyyttä. Samalla tavalla vastaajalle esitettiin verkossa olevia terveystietopankkeja, joita hänen tuli arvioida. Sitten vastaajalta kysyttiin, mihin toimintoihin hän on käyttänyt etäpalveluja, kuten hoidon tarpeen arviointiin, hoitohenkilökunnan yhteydenottoihin tai vertaistukeen. Vastaajalle esitettiin myös väitteitä, jotka käsittelivät julkisen sektorin tarjoamaa opetusta ja rohkaisua etäpalvelujen käyttöön. Lopussa vastaajalle esitettiin useita avoimia kysymyksiä, jotka käsittelivät vastaajan positiivisia ja negatiivisia kokemuksia sähköisten palveluiden käytöstä. Vastaajien tuli kuvailla tämä kokemus ymmärrettävästi. Vastaajalta myös kysyttiin, millaisia etäpalveluja hän haluaisi tulevaisuudessa. "en": "The study explored human rights-based approaches to development cooperation in Malawi, focusing on what the approach implied in the areas of development, HIV/AIDS and food security. The data consist of interviews of actors providing or receiving development aid in Malawi. Questions covered, for instance, what kind of aid the organisation provided, foreseeable trends in food aid, impact of food aid programmes, causes of malnutrition, impact of the HIV/AIDS, the role of human rights in food security and sustainable livelihoods programmes, and people's right to food. The interviewees were project personnel or representatives of the government, voluntary organisations/NGOs and other stakeholders. For the most part, data were collected through semistructured face-to-face interviews but there were some group interviews as well. The interviews took on average 45 minutes while the group interviews, including interviews of two persons together, lasted from one to two hours. The data are in English. In some group interviews, chichewa was also used but these have been translated into English.",
"fi": "Aineistossa on haastateltu erilaisia kehitysyhteistyötä tekeviä ja kehitysapua vastaanottavia tahoja Malawissa eteläisessä Afrikassa. Haastatteluja tehtiin projektihenkilöille, hallituksen ja kansalaisjärjestöjen edustajille sekä muille asianomaisille. Suurin osa haastatteluista on puolistrukturoituja yksilöhaastatteluja, mutta mukana on myös muutamia ryhmähaastatteluja. Esitetyt kysymykset vaihtelevat riippuen muun muassa haastateltavan edustamasta järjestöstä ja haastattelun luonteesta. Kysymysaiheet liikkuivat yksityiskohtaisista, esimerkiksi tietyn järjestön/projektin/tms. toimintaan liittyvistä kysymyksistä, laajempiin temaattisiin kysymyksiin. Haastateltavalta kysyttiin mm. hänen edustamansa järjestön toiminnasta alueella, näkemyksiä konkreettisen ruoka-avun pitkäaikaisvaikutuksista sekä ihmisoikeus- ja demokratiakysymysten roolista kehitysaputyössä. Lisäksi kysyttiin erilaisten projektien ja avustusohjelmien merkityksestä kehitysavussa ja tiedusteltiin haastateltavan näkemyksiä nälänhädän syistä. Vastaajilta kysyttiin myös esimerkiksi kokevatko he ihmisoikeuksien ja kehitysyhteistyön olevan poliittista toimintaa. Yksilöhaastattelut kestivät keskimäärin 45 minuuttia. Ryhmähaastattelut, mukaanlukien parihaastattelut, kestivät reilusta tunnista noin kahteen tuntiin, riippuen haastateltavien lukumäärästä. Aineisto on englanninkielinen. Osassa ryhmähaastatteluista puhutaan myös chichewan kieltä, josta ne on käännetty englanniksi."

Collection of data was conducted as part of a research project (2012-2015) funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation charting the lives of disabled people in Finland. The participants wrote about, for instance, what kind of disability they had, how the disability affected their daily life, what their childhood they had been like, and which problems they had faced in life. The participants could write their text in the form and perspective of their choosing. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",
"fi": "Aineisto sisältää vammaisten ihmisten kirjoituksia siitä, millaista heidän elämänsä on ollut ja on nykyään vammaisena Suomessa. Vammaisena Suomessa -muistitietokeruu toteutettiin osana Vammaisten ihmisten elämä Suomessa -tutkimushanketta (2012-2015). Tutkimushanketta rahoitti Suomen kulttuurirahasto. Usein kirjoittajat kuvasivat, millainen vamma hänellä on, miten se oireilee ja miten se vaikuttaa jokapäiväiseen elämään. He myös kuvasivat lapsuuttaan ja kasvuaan aikuiseksi ja niitä tekijöitä, jotka ovat auttaneet elämässä eteenpäin. Kertomuksia löytyi myös elämän eteen tuomista ongelmista ja esteistä, sekä henkisistä prosesseista, joita kirjoittajat ovat joutuneet käymään läpi vammansa kanssa. Kirjoitukset käsittelivät myös ihmissuhteita. Kirjotukset olivat vapaamuotoisia ja niiden sisältö vaihteli. Taustatietoina kirjoittajista ovat sukupuoli, syntymävuosi, ammatti ja maakunta. Taustatiedoissa maakunta on muodostettu annetun asuinpaikkakunnan perusteella. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla kirjoituksia on helppo selata."

"en": "The survey studied the opinions of Finnish social services professionals on disability services. The respondents were asked questions about the state and operability of disability services, as well as the skills that disability services required. The survey consisted of three major parts; structural social work in the disability services, the service process, and the support received at work. In the first part, the respondents were asked how structural social work was present in their workplace. Opinions on how to develop the effectiveness and visibility of social work in disability services were charted. Questions in the second part of the survey covered the service process. The respondents answered questions on the number of clients, whether the number was appropriate, which laws they applied to clients, and what kind of impact the new Social Welfare Act had on their work. The respondents were also asked how they gathered information about the clients, how often they performed certain tasks at work, and whether they wished to have some form of support during different parts of the service process. The last part of the survey consisted of questions on support received at work. The respondents were asked if they had access to support that enhances their management of work-related stress, for example, development discussions or professional guidance. Lastly, the respondents were asked about what functions and what does not function in the work of social service professionals, and what could be improved. The background variables included the respondent's job title, education, type of contract, type of employer organization, and region.",

Vastaajilta kysyttiin vammaispalvelujen tilasta ja toimivuudesta sekä vammaispalveluissa tarvittavasta osaamisesta ja työmenetelmistä. Kyselyssä oli kolme pääaihetta; rakenteellinen sosiaalityö vammaispalveluissa, palveluprosessi sekä ammatillisuutta ja osaamista vahvistava tuki. Rakenteellista sosiaalityötä koskevat kysymykset käsittelivät työyhteisön tilannetta ja vammaispalvelun sosiaalialan työn näkyvyyden ja vaikuttavuuden kehittämistä. Palveluprosessia kuvailevat kysymykset käsittelivät asiakkaiden määrää, mitä lakeja asiakkaisiin sovelletaan, onko uusi sosiaalihuoltolaki vaikuttanut työssä, millä tavoin hankitaan tietoja asiakkaista, miten usein erilaisia tehtäviä kuuluu työhön sekä missä yhteyksissä vastaajat tunsivat tarvitsevansa tukea työssään. Ammatillisuutta ja osaamista vahvistavaa tukea käsitelleissä kysymyksissä kysyttiin, mitä ja millaista työssä jaksamista auttavaa tukea vastaajilla on käytössään. Taustamuuttujina olivat tehtävänimike, koulutus, työsuhteen laatu, työnantajan organisaation laatu ja maakunta."

Views were surveyed on the measures that would improve safety in the neighbourhood (e.g. improved lighting on streets and in parks, more events in the community), trust in employees in the housing unit, trust in people met outside home and when running errands, and trust in authorities (e.g. social services, municipal decision makers). Opinions on the need of support were charted as well as frequency of meeting different people, participation in an association or group, reason for not participating in the activities of an association/group, and participation in online discussions or communities. Background variables were the respondent's age, gender, and disability/condition that causes need for support.",

Kyselyssä tarkastellaan heidän tuen tarvettaan sekä asumisturvallisuuttaan. Aluksi kartoitettiin asukkaiden taustatekijöitä, kuten ikää, sukupuolta sekä syytä, joka ensisijaisesti aiheuttaa avun tai tuen tarvetta. Tämän jälkeen vastaajilta kysyttiin, millaista tukea tai apua he saavat asumiseensa, kuinka turvalliseksi he tuntevat olonsa liikkuessaan asuinalueellaan päivällä ja illalla sekä mitkä asiat heitä huolestuttavat kotona asumisessa. Asukkailta tiedusteltiin, millaiset seikat, kuten palovaroitin, turvapuhelin tai henkilökohtainen apu, parantaisivat turvallisuutta kotona ja onko vastaajallaan kyseisiä tuotteita tai palveluita. Lisäksi kysyttiin, mitä asukas itse voisi tehdä, jotta kotona ja omalla asuinalueella olisi turvallista, sekä millaiset toimenpiteet, kuten valaistuksen tai liikennevalvonnan lisääminen, edistäisivät turvallisuutta asuinalueella. Luottamukseen liittyen vastaajilta kysyttiin, kuinka hyvin he luottivat yksikön työntekijöihin, avun ja tuen saantiin heiltä, muihin ihmisiin ylipäänsä sekä erilaisiin tahoihin, kuten sosiaalipalveluihin, mielenterveyspalveluihin ja poliisiin. Seuraavaksi tiedusteltiin avunsaamisesta ja osallistumisesta. Asukkaat kertoivat, kuinka usein mielestään tarvitsivat erilaista tukea, kuten kannustusta allapäin ollessa, apua asioiden hoitoon tai jotakuta, jolta saa neuvoja. Tämän jälkeen kysyttiin, kuinka usein vastaaja tapasi esimerkiksi ystäviään tai asumisyksikön työntekijöitä sekä syitä siihen, jos vastaaja ei voinut tavata läheisiään yhtä usein kuin haluaisi. Heiltä tiedusteltiin myös, olivatko he osallistuneet vuoden aikana jonkin järjestön tai harrastusryhmän toimintaan ja millaista tämä toiminta oli ollut. Mikäli vastaaja ei ollut osallistunut tällaiseen toimintaan, kysyttiin syitä tähän. Seuraavaksi tiedusteltiin osallistumista internetin keskustelu- tai muihin yhteisöihin kuten Facebookiin sekä syitä mahdolliseen osallistumattomuuteen. Lopuksi asukkailta kysyttiin vielä millaiset seikat toivat elämään iloa ja jaksamista sekä muita turvallisuuteen liittyviä asioita, jotka he haluaisivat kertoa."

The writing invitation was aimed at individuals who are ageing with a disability and individuals with age-related disabilities or handicaps. In the writing guidelines, the participants were presented with questions that they could use to help guide their writing. The questions prompted the participants to describe their experience of ageing with a disability or the experience of living with age-related disabilities or handicaps. The participants were asked whether they had received adequate support and assistance to manage the challenges posed by their disability, and whether they felt that they were treated differently now that they were elderly or as a result of developing age-related disabilities. Additionally, the participants could write about how disability had impacted their identity, everyday life or hobbies. Background information included the participant's gender, age group, the disability the participant had, and whether the participant's municipality of residence had deemed them eligible for services for the disabled or the elderly. The dataset is only available in Finnish.",

"en": "The dataset consists of eight written responses and two interviews on disabled and Deaf artists' experiences of their position and status in Finnish society and art world. The participants worked widely in different areas of art, such as theatre, music and visual arts. The data were collected as part of research that aimed to explore the opportunities and challenges experienced by disabled artists in their career. Six of the written responses and the two interviews are in Finnish, and the two remaining written responses are in Swedish. In the written responses and interviews, the respondents were asked to recount their life stories, concentrating especially on the beginning of their artist career and on working as a disabled artist. The respondents' possible arts education, work opportunities in the art field and financial circumstances as a disabled artist were examined. Some questions also focused on the importance of social support both during the respondents' journey to become an artist and while working as a professional artist. The respondents were asked to describe their relationship with the disability movement that stands up for the rights of disabled persons, as well as how society and the art world have treated them as professionals in the field. Background information on the participants is available catalogued in a CSV file. The background information cannot be connected to individual participants. The background information includes, for example, the respondent's age, gender, education and questions on being an artist and disabled. Participation in the study was made as accessible as possible during data collection. The files included in the dataset are available in an accessible ODT format in Finnish and Swedish, and the invitation for written responses is available in video file format. The dataset is only available in the original languages (Finnish and Swedish).",
"fi": "Tämä aineisto käsittelee vammaisten ja kuurojen taiteilijoiden kokemuksia omasta asemastaan yhteiskunnassa sekä taidekentällä. Tutkittavat toimivat laajasti eri taiteenlajien, kuten teatterin, musiikin ja kuvataiteen parissa. Aineisto on kerätty osana tutkimusta, jonka tavoitteena oli kartoittaa mahdollisuuksia ja haasteita taiteilijan uraan liittyen vammaisen ihmisen näkökulmasta. Kaksi kahdeksasta kirjoitusvastauksesta on ruotsinkielisiä, muuten aineisto on suomenkielinen. Kirjoitusten lisäksi aineistoon sisältyy kaksi haastattelua. Haastatteluissa ja kirjoituskutsussa tutkittavia pyydetään kertomaan elämäntarinansa taiteilijaksi ryhtymiseen ja taiteilijana toimimiseen liittyen. Aineistossa selvitetään tutkittavien mahdollista taidealan koulutusta, työskentelymahdollisuuksia ja taloudellista toimeentuloa vammaisena taiteilijana sekä tutkittavien saaman yhteiskunnallisen ja sosiaalisen tuen merkitystä. Tutkittavilta kysytään myös heidän suhteestaan vammaisliikkeeseen ja erilaisiin järjestöihin. Tutkittavien taustatiedot ovat saatavilla csv-tiedostoon luetteloituna. Taustatietoja ei voi yhdistää yksittäiseen vastaajaan. Taustatietolomakkeella kysyttiin esimerkiksi ikää, sukupuolta ja koulutusta sekä taiteilijuuteen ja vammaisuuteen liittyviä kysymyksiä. Aineiston kerääminen toteutettiin mahdollisimman saavutettavalla tavalla. Näin ollen aineiston liitetiedostot ovat saatavilla myös saavutettavassa odt-muodossa suomeksi ja ruotsiksi sekä kirjoituskutsu myös videomuodossa."
