Link to the paper. The scripts were tested on Matlab R2021a on Windows. Generally speaking, there is a folder containing the plotting scripts for each figure. In most cases, the folder contains scripts named plot.m that recreate the actual plots. Some folders also have a scripts analyze.m to analyze the data; these need to be run before the actual plotting. For more details, please see the paper."

Contact: kim.calders@ugent.be ================================================ Dataset ================================================ General: TLS data were collected in leaf-off conditions during late November 2015 - January 2016. Windy days were avoided to ensure data quality. We used a RIEGL VZ-400 terrestrial laser scanner (RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH). The instrument has a beam divergence of 0.35 mrad and operates in the infrared (wavelength 1550 nm) with a range up to 350 m. The pulse repetition rate for each scan was 300 kHz, the minimum range was 0.5 m and the angular sampling resolution was 0.04°. This resulted in 22,500,000 outgoing pulses for a single scan, resulting in a beam diameter of 2.45 cm and beam spacing of 3.5 cm at 50 m (for example). The azimuth angle range was 0-360° and the zenith angle range was 30-130°. Therefore an additional scan was acquired at each scan location with the scanner tilted at 90° from the vertical to complete sampling of the full hemisphere at each location. Scans were done in a larger 6 ha area using an approximate 20 m × 20 m grid, to ensure the best possible data quality within our 1.4 ha study area. Trees which had at least more than half of their stem at tree diameter 1.3 m inside the boundaries of the study area were included [ Note that this dataset contains 876 individual trees, but after applying the boundary conditions, 835 trees within the study area were used in the analysis of the paper >> see TLS_Inventory.ipynb] Full details of the methods to segment individual trees and generate the QSMs can be found in the paper Calders et al. Ecological Solutions and Evidence. Tree ID: Tree IDs can have numbers only or numbers + letters. A number only means this was a base with one stem. A number + letter means individual trees (split below 1.3m), that share a common tree base. Datasets: 1) DATA_clouds_txt & DATA_clouds_ply: Individually segmented trees in *txt and *ply format. "en": "In this publication we provide experimental data of dynamic compression tests of four microstructural variants of the C45 steel alloy performed at high temperatures and high strain rates. The presented data evidences the presence of Dynamic Strain Aging (DSA) in the material. Moreover, we provided the MATLAB codes of a calibration approach to estimate the material parameters of a plasticity model that accounts for DSA. The file \"Mechanical behavior of C45\" contains: 1) Folder EXP_DATA contains experimental data of dynamic compression tests of the C45 steel variants in .mat format. The data is organized in cell arrays, and every cell in the arrays contains the data of one experiment. The data of each experiment is arranged as four columns arrays, as: column 1: Plastic strain, column 2: Flow stress, column 3: absolute temperature, column 4: strain rate 2) Matlab code named CALIBRATION.m which executes a calibration approach of a modified Johnson-Cook that accounts for DSA. The form of the model is the following: \\(\\sigma(\\varepsilon ,T,\\dot{\\varepsilon}) = (A+B\\varepsilon^n)\\left(1+Cln\\left(\\frac{\\dot{\\varepsilon}}{\\dot{\\varepsilon}^{ref}}\\right)\\right)\\left( 1-\\left(\\frac{T-T^{ref}}{T^{melt}-T^{ref}}\\right)^m\\right) +\\sigma^{dsa}(\\varepsilon ,T,\\dot{\\varepsilon}) \\) with, \\(σ^{dsa} (ε,T,\\dotε )=\\frac{B_1}{ν} \\left(\\frac{ε^β}{ ε ̇T} exp(-\\frac{Q_m}{KT}) \\right)^{\\frac{2}{3}}\\), \\(\\frac{B_1}{\\nu} = \\frac{\\psi \\dot{\\varepsilon}}{exp(\\eta \\frac{T}{\\dot{\\varepsilon}^\\alpha})} \\) The code CALIBRATION contains a data presentation section that can be used to generate plots to compare calibrated models with the experimental data. "en": "For this dataset, scientific peer-reviewed articles by Tampere University researchers from the years 2020 and 2021 were extracted from the TUNICRIS. A random sample of 40 percent was taken from the listed 4,922 publications according to faculties and years. There were 2,085 analyzed articles, i.e. more than 42 percent of the total number. To find Data Availability Statements, articles were opened one by one and searched for mentions of research data and its availability. For each article, it was written down whether DAS existed and where in the article it was located. From the contents of DAS, information about data availability, location, openness and possible restrictions on use was written down. Dataset also includes information about the journals and publications taken from TUNICRIS. The prevalence of DAS and data openness were examined in relation to different variables. "en": "DESCRIPTION: The Sony-TAu Realistic Spatial Soundscapes 2023 (STARSS23) dataset contains multichannel recordings of sound scenes in various rooms and environments, together with temporal and spatial annotations of prominent events belonging to a set of target classes. The dataset is collected in two different countries, in Tampere, Finland by the Audio Researh Group (ARG) of Tampere University (TAU), and in Tokyo, Japan by SONY, using a similar setup and annotation procedure. The dataset is delivered in two 4-channel spatial recording formats, a microphone array one (MIC), and first-order Ambisonics one (FOA). These recordings serve as the development dataset for the DCASE 2023 Sound Event Localization and Detection Task of the DCASE 2023 Challenge. The STARSS23 dataset is a continuation of the STARSS22 dataset. It extends the previous version with the following: An additional additional 2hrs 30mins of recordings in the development set, from 5 new rooms distributed in 47 new recording clips. An additional 1hr 40mins of recordings added in the evaluation set of the dataset. 360° videos spatially and temporally aligned to the audio recordings of the dataset (apart from 12 audio-only clips). Distance labels (in cm) for the spatially annotated sound events, instead of the previous azimuth and elevation only labels. Contrary to the three previous datasets of synthetic spatial sound scenes of TAU Spatial Sound Events 2019 (development/evaluation), TAU-NIGENS Spatial Sound Events 2020, and TAU-NIGENS Spatial Sound Events 2021 associated with previous iterations of the DCASE Challenge, the STARS22-23 dataset contains recordings of real sound scenes and hence it avoids some of the pitfalls of synthetic generation of scenes. Some such key properties are: annotations are based on a combination of human annotators for sound event activity and optical tracking for spatial positions, the annotated target event classes are determined by the composition of the real scenes, the density, polyphony, occurences and co-occurences of events and sound classes is not random, and it follows actions and interactions of participants in the real scenes. The first round of recordings was collected between September 2021 and January 2022. A second round of recordings was collected between November 2022 and February 2023. AIM: The STARSS22-23 dataset is suitable for training and evaluation of machine-listening models for sound event detection (SED), general sound source localization with diverse sounds or signal-of-interest localization, and joint sound-event-localization-and-detection (SELD). Additionally, the dataset can be used for evaluation of signal processing methods that do not necessarily rely on training, such as acoustic source localization methods and multiple-source acoustic tracking. The dataset allows evaluation of the performance and robustness of the aforementioned applications for diverse types of sounds, and under diverse acoustic conditions. Specifically the STARSS23 allows evaluation of audiovisual processing methods with a spatial dimension, such as audiovisual source localization or audiovisual object recognition. SPECIFICATIONS: General: Recordings are taken in two different sites. Each recording clip is part of a recording session happening in a unique room. Groups of participants, sound making props, and scene scenarios are unique for each session (with a few exceptions). To achieve good variability and efficiency in the data, in terms of presence, density, movement, and/or spatial distribution of the sounds events, the scenes are loosely scripted. 13 target classes are identified in the recordings and strongly annotated by humans. Spatial annotations for those active events are captured by an optical tracking system. Sound events out of the target classes are considered as interference. Occurrences of up to 3 simultaneous events are fairly common, while higher numbers of overlapping events (up to 5) can occur but are rare. Volume, duration, and data split: A total of 16 unique rooms captured in the recordings, 4 in Tokyo and 12 in Tampere (development set). 70 recording clips of 30 sec ~ 5 min durations, with a total time of ~2hrs, captured in Tokyo (development dataset). 98 recording clips of 40 sec ~ 9 min durations, with a total time of ~5.5hrs, captured in Tampere (development dataset). 79 recordings clips of 40 sec ~ 7 min durations, with a total time of ~3.5hrs, captured in both sites (evaluation dataset). A training-testing split is provided for reporting results using the development dataset. 40 recordings contributed by Sony for the training split, captured in 2 rooms (dev-train-sony). 30 recordings contributed by Sony for the testing split, captured in 2 rooms (dev-test-sony). 50 recordings contributed by TAU for the training split, captured in 7 rooms (dev-train-tau). 48 recordings contributed by TAU for the testing split, captured in 5 rooms (dev-test-tau). SOUND CLASSES: 13 target sound event classes are annotated. The classes follow loosely the Audioset ontology. 0. Female speech, woman speaking 1. Male speech, man speaking 2. Clapping 3. Telephone 4. Knock The content of some of these classes corresponds to events of a limited range of Audioset-related subclasses. For more information see the README file. EXAMPLE APPLICATION: An implementation of a trainable model performing audio-only joint SELD, trained and evaluated with this dataset is provided here. This implementation will serve as the baseline method in the DCASE 2023 Sound Event Localization and Detection Task, under the audio-only inference track. It takes an estimated 1 hour of human time and 3 hours of computing time to duplicate our key findings from MalwareInfectionSet; around one hour with VictimAccessSet; and minutes to replicate the price calculations using AccountAccessSet. See the included README.md files and Python scripts. We choose to represent each victim by a single JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data file. Data sources provide sets of victim JSON data files from which we've extracted the essential information and omitted Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We collected, curated, and modelled three datasets, which we publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. 1. MalwareInfectionSet We discover (and, to the best of our knowledge, document scientifically for the first time) that malware networks appear to dump their data collections online. We collected these infostealer malware logs available for free. We utilise 245 malware log dumps from 2019 and 2020 originating from 14 malware networks. The dataset contains 1.8 million victim files, with a dataset size of 15 GB. 2. VictimAccessSet We demonstrate how Infostealer malware networks sell access to infected victims. Genesis Market focuses on user-friendliness and continuous supply of compromised data. Marketplace listings include everything necessary to gain access to the victim's online accounts, including passwords and usernames, but also detailed collection of information which provides a clone of the victim's browser session. Indeed, Genesis Market simplifies the import of compromised victim authentication data into a web browser session. We measure the prices on Genesis Market and how compromised device prices are determined. We crawled the website between April 2019 and May 2022, collecting the web pages offering the resources for sale. The dataset contains 0.5 million victim files, with a dataset size of 3.5 GB. 3. AccountAccessSet The Database marketplace operates inside the anonymous Tor network. Vendors offer their goods for sale, and customers can purchase them with Bitcoins. The marketplace sells online accounts, such as PayPal and Spotify, as well as private datasets, such as driver's licence photographs and tax forms. We then collect data from Database Market, where vendors sell online credentials, and investigate similarly. To build our dataset, we crawled the website between November 2021 and June 2022, collecting the web pages offering the credentials for sale. The dataset contains 33,896 victim files, with a dataset size of 400 MB. "en": "The OperaRIR dataset contains acoustical measurements conducted in the main auditorium of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet (FNOB), a modern-shaped horseshoe opera hall located in Helsinki, Finland. This type of hall contains multi-slopes and direction- and frequency-dependent decay characteristics. As such, this dataset is suitable for research in the field of directional and multi-slope decay analysis as well as 6DoF auralization. Dataset In this measurement campaign, 210 spatial room impulse responses (SRIR) were measured. More specifically, 97 individual seats on the parterre were measured sequentially using two different sound sources located on the stage for a total of 194 SRIRS. Four were selected as validation points among these measurement positions, and two extra measurement sets were performed using the same two sound sources, thus adding 16 SRIRs to the dataset. These validation points are intended for use in assessing the stability of the measurements and the background noise. The measurements were captured using a spherical microphone array (SMA), the Eigenmike (https://mhacoustics.com/) to obtain microphone signals that can be encoded as fourth-order ambisonic SRIRs. Two Genelec 8331A loudspeakers were used as sound sources and both were positioned at a depth of one meter, from the edge of the stage, on a 1.6m stand. The first source was located 5.53m from the lateral center, on the left side of the stage when looking from the parterre, and the second loudspeaker was situated in the center. Other than the loudspeakers, the stage was left empty, the curtain was fully raised, and no audience was present. For each measurement position, the microphone was aligned to face directly toward the sound source in the center of the stage (source 2) as a common reference point. The microphone signals are made available as measured, and the layout data file contains the rotation angles necessary to correctly align each measured position to a common plane, in the back of the stage. The files encoded in Ambisonics have been rotated to compensate for this initial alignment, and are all pointing towards the main stage. The location of each microphone position was obtained using a top-view architectural plan of the hall (OperaRIR_measurement_layout.pdf). The coordinate system used here is in meters and the axis origin is located in the top left corner of the architectural plan, the two loudspeakers are positioned at y=0. As such, the coordinates of the first source are (7.30, 0.0), and the second source is located at (12.83, 0.0). Each SRIR file is named according to the following convention : ____.wav refers to either em32 microphone signals (mic), or Ambisonics format (hoa). "en": "Abstract Purpose The 15- and 10-item short forms of the Singapore Caregiver Quality of Life Scale (SCQOLS-15 and SCQOLS-10) were recently developed as a quick assessment of caregiver quality of life. Reference values describing the distribution of the total and domain scores are available for the full-length version, but they are not yet available for the short forms. This study aimed to estimate the reference values for the short forms. Methods Data from a cross-sectional survey of 612 family caregivers of patients with advanced cancer in Singapore were fitted in quantile regression models. Percentiles were estimated by regressing the short forms’ scores on caregiver characteristics. Classification by the reference values for the short forms and the full-length version were compared and agreement was evaluated. Results The caregiver’s role in caring for the patient and the patient’s performance status were associated with the percentiles of the total scores and most domain scores (each Bonferroni-adjusted p-value, PB,"
