"en": "These are the associated Matlab files corresponding to the ionospheric model proposed in M. Imad et al., \"Ionospheric error models for satellite-based navigation-paving the road towards LEO-PNT solutions\", submitted to MDPI Computers. The main code in this file is a simplified version of the code used in the simulations that were discusses in the paper, but it uses the Y matrix that was presented in M. Imad et al. (2023) to generate TEC values corresponding to random users. The Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) map has been saved in TEC_HourMap.mat. The Main.m function shows an example with 10 users uniformly distributed on Earth and the VTEC values corresponding to them (i.e., VTEC values from the user position on the ground until 450km above the Earth). The actual ionopsheric delays depend on the Slant TEC (STEC), which can be derived from VTEC and from the actual satellite constellation (STEC tells us how many electrons 'collide' with the satellite signal when the signal crosses the ionopsheric layer). The VTEC however is independent on the satellite constellation as it only shows how many electrons are present above a certain location (lat,long). The files are distributed under CC4_BY license."

"en": "This dataset contains IQ-baseband recordings of data frames transmitted from a Lenovo Thinkpad T470s. A program called Scapy was used to force the WLAN chip (Intel 8265NGW) of the laptop to send a data frame with a fixed bit payload on repeat. The measurements were conducted in the anechoic chamber located at the Tampere University's Hervanta campus. The dataset contains 10 repeat recordings with MCS indices 3,5,6 and 8. The WLAN bandwidth was 20 MHz on channel 12, corresponding to center frequency of 2.467 GHz. The recordings were made with a vector signal transceiver PXIe-5840 by National Instruments. The sampling frequency in all recordings was 200 MHz with a recording length of 20e6 samples, corresponding to a recording period of 100 ms. All recordings are provided in a binary format. More specifically, the data is interleaved (I1 Q1 I2 Q2 I3 Q3 ...) in little-endian 64-bit floating point format. A matlab function is provided for converting the binary data in a file to a complex float vector. Additionally, a simple Matlab example script is provided to showcase how the data can be used to plot a spectrogram."

"en": "This dataset contains a collection of raw processing data, spectroscopic data, and laboratory test results of medical-grade polymer extrusion experiments. The data was collected in several experiments conducted in a hot-melt extrusion process. The process involved extruding PLA through a slit die and drawing the extruded strands onto spools to obtain the desired dimensional and mechanical properties. The strands were later knitted to form the final medical implant. Throughout the experiments, the extrusion process and equipment were upgraded and refined. Various operational scenarios were simulated under different nozzle configurations. The experiments start using a single-screw extruder and later progress to a double-screw extruder. Medical Grade PURASORB PLA (PLDLA 96/4) material was used when the hardware upgrades were complete. This dataset contains many variations in experimental conditions. However, enough overlap exists to derive working datasets from this compiled raw data. Two working datasets have been derived from this compiled raw data. Using a double-screw extruder, both working Datasets investigate polymer degradation in the hot-melt extrusion process. Both derived datasets are included in this collection. Two Jupyter notebooks are included in this data collection. The first notebook gives an example of how an initial dataset can be derived from the raw data using data science techniques. The second notebook gives an example of how a final dataset can be created from the initial dataset."

"en": "The measurements were performed in closed and disturbance free space, where an unobstructed 10 m walkway was arranged. All tests were performed on a hard floor surface first with shoes that were adapt for walking (indoor sports shoes, sneakers etc.) and afterwards walking barefooted the same protocol. The subjects had clothing which did not restrict lower limb movement. In each test, the 10 m walking was repeated three times. Prior to testing, the procedure was demonstrated, and the sensors were carefully positioned to correct locations. The subjects were instructed to walk with their own natural walking velocity and to begin each 10 m walk from a completely stationary position."

"en": "This dataset contains material volumes (m3), material masses (kg), and material intensities (kg/m2) for representative buildings from 45 residential building cohorts in Finland. These data are presented per material and in total, aggregated on three hierarchical levels on the correspondingly named sheets in the OpenDocument Spreadsheet (ODS) file: the entire building (data_building), distinguished between vertical building levels (data_building_level), and distinguished between building parts (data_building part). Further details on the data are provided on the description sheet in the same file. The cohorts are based on building type, main frame material, main façade material, and construction decade. Each cohort is represented by one inventoried building, covering the combinations in the tables below. All buildings are located in the city of Vantaa, Finland, with the exception of the 1940s and 1950s houses, which are based on type-planned houses and thus have no specific location. One dwelling house cohorts included in the dataset Frame material, Facade material 1940s 1950s 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s 2000s 2010s Wood, Wood D D D T D D D D Wood, Brick T T D T T T T Brick, Brick D D D* D D D Concrete, Concrete D T D D D D Concrete, Brick T D T T T T Block of flats cohorts included in the dataset Frame material, Facade material 1940s 1950s 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s 2000s 2010s Concrete, Concrete D D D D D D Concrete, Brick T T T T T T D = Direct record based on construction documents. T = Theoretical variant with alternative façade material based on typical contemporary construction practice. All properties except the cladding and any related materials (e.g. battens) are identical with the corresponding direct record. * Geometry determined based on construction documents from 1979 due to lack of suitably sized cases dated in the 1980s. Insulation thicknesses adjusted to match the represented decade’s building code. The data are primarily based on digitized construction documents obtained from the Vantaa building inspection authority’s archives through the purchase portal Lupapiste Kauppa (https://kauppa.lupapiste.fi/) The 1940s and 1950s type-planned houses’ drawings are from the National Archives of Finland."

"en": "The single fibre tensile test data showing the effect of acetone on flax fibres. This document shows the effect of acetone on the tensile properties of single flax fibres. Acetone can be used to extract lipophilic from natural fibre surfaces and as a solvent for surface modification of fibres. For instance, the cellulose acetate/acetone solution can be used for interfacial toughening of flax-epoxy composites: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.compositesa.2021.106628 However, it is essential to minimise the dip-coating time of the fabrics in acetone, to e.g., 5 seconds. The main reason is to avoid excessive hemicellulose and pectin extraction from fibres that act as a matrix and binder within the flax fibre microstructure.
