"en": "This dataset contains genome-wide DNA methylation data generated from 384 pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) samples originating from bone marrow or peripheral blood samples taken at ALL diagnosis (n = 384). Further details regarding the samples are available in Supplementary Table S2 from Krali et al., 2023 (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41698-023-00479-5).Genome-wide DNA methylation was analyzed at the SNP&SEQ Technology Platform, SciLifeLab, National Genomics Infrastructure Uppsala, Sweden. 250 ng of bisulfite converted DNA was amplified, fragmented and hybridised to Illumina Infinium Human Methylation450k Beadchip using the standard protocol from Illumina (iScan SQ instrument).This metadata record contains information about the raw idat files generated from the Infinium DNA methylation arrays. The raw idat files were processed with Methylation Module (1.8.5) software in Genome Studio (V2010.3). Peak-based correction was used to normalize the beta-value matrix.The raw idat files along with a samplesheet, processed beta-value matrix, annotation file for CpG annotation will be made available upon request. Limited phenotype information is available in the Supplemental Table S2 of the manuscript. All scripts that give a walk-through to our project, including the modelling process with Machine Learning can be found in our GitHub repository.Terms for accessThe DNA methylation dataset is only to be used for research that is seeking to advance the understanding of the influence of epigenetic factors on leukemia etiology and biology.The data should not be used for other purposes, i.e. investigating the epigenetic signatures that may lead to identification of a person. Aineisto on osa monitieteistä Jyväskylän ja Tampereen yliopistojen sekä Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitoksen yhteistyössä toteuttamaa Tasa-arvon kysymykset lasten varhaiskasvatuksen, esiopetuksen ja hoidon tukien järjestelmässä -hanketta (CHILDCARE).\r\n\r\nHaastatteluissa kysyttiin aluksi lapsen ja perheen arjesta koronapandemian aikana, esimerkiksi miten koronapandemia ja koronarajoitukset vaikuttivat lapsen arkeen keväällä 2020. Sen jälkeen kysyttiin, millaista perheen elämä oli syksyllä 2020 ja miten koronapandemia oli muuttanut perheen elämää. Sen jälkeen kysyttiin, miten perheen lapset suhtautuivat koronaan ja sen tuomiin muutoksiin. Lähitulevaisuuteen liittyen kysyttiin, millaisia koronaa ja perheen elämää koskevia ajatuksia, huolia ja toiveita haastateltavilla oli. Lisäksi haastatteluissa tiedusteltiin, miten arjessa on järjestetty vanhempien työt sekä miten koronapandemia on vaikuttanut vanhempien väliseen työnjakoon sekä vanhempien jaksamiseen. Haastatteluissa käytiin läpi myös, onko varhaiskasvatuspalveluiden merkitys muuttunut koronapandemian aikana, ja miten yhteydenpito kodin ja varhaiskasvatuksen välillä oli toteutunut.\r\n\r\nTaustatietoina ovat luokiteltuina koulutustausta ja ikä sekä kuntaluokitus. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla haastatteluja on helppo selata.\r\n\r\nAineistossa olevan \"haastattelun nimi\" satunnaistetun kunta- ja vastaajakoodin perusteella tämän ja seuranta-aineistojen FSD3755 sekä FSD3751 välinen vertailu on mahdollista. Seurantahaastattelut on kerätty samoilta huoltajilta lasten ollessa alle kaksivuotiaita vuosina 2016-2017 ja noin nelivuotiaita vuonna 2019."

Sen jälkeen kysyttiin perusteluita lastenhoidon ratkaisuille, esimerkiksi miten ja miksi on päädytty nykyiseen ratkaisuun. Tämän jälkeen tiedusteltiin, millaista tukea ja apua vastaajat ovat saaneet lastenhoitoon ja sen ratkaisuihin liittyen. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin työn ja perheen yhteensovittamisesta sekä lastenhoitoon liittyvästä päätöksenteosta ja neuvottelusta perheessä. Haastateltavia pyydettiin kertomaan, millainen on nelivuotiaan lapsen tyypillinen päivä. Haastateltavilta kysyttiin myös, millainen heidän asunkuntansa on nelivuotiaan lapsen näkökulmasta sekä tiedusteltiin, mitä mieltä haastateltava olisi, jos kunta tarjoaisi viisivuotiaille ilmaisen varhaiskasvatuksen. Lopuksi pyydettiin pohtimaan tulevaisuutta, esimerkiksi millaista perheen ja lapsen elämä on mahdollisesti neljän vuoden kuluttua haastatteluhetkestä.\r\n\r\nTaustatietoina ovat luokiteltuina koulutustausta ja ikä sekä kuntaluokitus. "en": "Aineisto koostuu alle kaksivuotiaiden lasten huoltajilta kerätyistä tiedoista liittyen lasten hoitojärjestelyihin ja varhaiskasvatusratkaisuihin. Aineisto on osa monitieteistä Jyväskylän ja Tampereen yliopistojen sekä Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitoksen yhteistyössä toteuttamaa Tasa-arvon kysymykset lasten varhaiskasvatuksen, esiopetuksen ja hoidon tukien järjestelmässä -hanketta (CHILDCARE).\r\n\r\nHaastatteluissa kysyttiin aluksi lapsen ja perheen arjesta. Sen jälkeen kysyttiin perusteluita lastenhoidon ratkaisuille, esimerkiksi miten ja miksi on päädytty nykyiseen ratkaisuun. Tämän jälkeen tiedusteltiin, millaista tukea ja apua vastaajat ovat saaneet lastenhoitoon ja sen ratkaisuihin liittyen. Lisäksi tiedusteltiin työn ja perheen yhteensovittamisesta sekä lastenhoitoon liittyvästä päätöksenteosta perheessä. Lopuksi kysyttiin perhevapaajärjestelmän ja varhaiskasvatuksen ajankohtaisista aiheista ja pyydettiin pohtimaan tulevaisuutta, millaista lapsen elämä on mahdollisesti 4-vuotiaana.\r\n\r\nTaustatietoina ovat luokiteltuina koulutustausta ja ikä sekä kuntaluokitus. Aineistosta on tehty html-versio, jonka hakemiston avulla haastatteluja on helppo selata.\r\n\r\nAineistossa olevan \"haastattelun nimi\" satunnaistetun kunta- ja vastaajakoodin perusteella tämän ja seuranta-aineistojen FSD3750 sekä FSD3751 välinen vertailu on mahdollista. Seurantahaastattelut on kerätty samoilta huoltajilta lasten ollessa noin nelivuotiaita vuonna 2019 ja alle kouluikäisiä koronapandemian aikana vuosina 2020-2021."

Tämän jälkeen kysyttiin lasten hoitojärjestelyistä, hoitomuodon valinnasta ja perhevapaista. Seuraavaksi kysyttiin vastaajan työhön, työn ja perheen yhteensovittamiseen ja terveystilanteeseen liittyviä kysymyksiä. Sitten selvitettiin perheen tilannetta ja tukea sekä vastaajan asumista ja toimeentuloa. Lisäksi vastaajilta kysyttiin ajatuksia lastenhoitoon liittyvistä poliittisista päätöksistä sekä varhaiskasvatuksen järjestämistä koskevista asioista.\r\n\r\nVastaajan taustatietoina ovat muun muassa asuinkunta (luokiteltuna), sukupuoli, ikäryhmä, siviilisääty, perheenjäsenet, suhde perheen yksivuotiaaseen lapseen, koulutustaso, elämäntilannetta ja työsuhdetta kuvaavat tiedot, asumismuoto ja perheen tulot. Kyselyn kohteena olevasta lapsesta taustatietoina ovat muun muassa sukupuoli, ikä, asumisen järjestelyt ja huoltajuutta koskeva tieto. Lisäksi vastaajan puolison taustatietoja ovat koulutustaso sekä elämäntilanne.\r\n\r\nAineistossa olevan satunnaistetun id-muuttujan perusteella tämän ja FSD3578 Varhaiskasvatuskysely 2019 -aineiston ajallinen vertailu on mahdollista."

"en": "Kyselyllä kartoitettiin nelivuotiaiden lasten huoltajilta tietoja muun muassa perheestä, asumisesta, toimeentulosta, vanhempana toimimisesta, lastenhoidon järjestämisestä ja lastenhoidon taloudellisten tukien käytöstä. Aineisto on osa monitieteistä Jyväskylän ja Tampereen yliopistojen sekä Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitoksen yhteistyössä toteuttamaa Tasa-arvon kysymykset lasten varhaiskasvatuksen, esiopetuksen ja hoidon tukien järjestelmässä -hanketta (CHILDCARE).\r\n\r\nKyselyn alussa kartoitettiin nelivuotiaan lapsen ja kyselyyn vastanneen aikuisen taustatietoja. Tämän jälkeen kysyttiin nelivuotiaan lapsen hoitojärjestelyistä, hoitomuodon valinnasta ja perhevapaista. Seuraavaksi kysyttiin vastaajan työhön, työn ja perheen yhteensovittamiseen ja terveystilanteeseen liittyviä kysymyksiä. Sitten selvitettiin perheen tilannetta, toimeentuloa ja tukea. Lisäksi vastaajilta kysyttiin ajatuksia lastenhoitoon liittyvistä poliittisista päätöksistä sekä varhaiskasvatuksen järjestämistä koskevista asioista.\r\n\r\nVastaajan taustatietoina ovat muun muassa asuinkunta (luokiteltuna), sukupuoli, ikäryhmä, siviilisääty, perheenjäsenet, koulutustaso, elämäntilannetta ja työsuhdetta kuvaavat tiedot. Kyselyn kohteena olevasta lapsesta taustatietoina ovat muun muassa sukupuoli, asumisen järjestelyt ja hoitojärjestelyt. Lisäksi vastaajan puolison taustatietoja ovat koulutustaso sekä elämäntilanne.\r\n\r\nAineistossa olevan satunnaistetun id-muuttujan perusteella tämän ja FSD3577 Varhaiskasvatuskysely 2016 -aineiston ajallinen vertailu on mahdollista."

"en": "How the data was compiled: The grocery purchase data including 3574 product groups was received from the retailer for research purposes. The data was reclassified into appropriate categories suitable for the use of nutrition and health research. How the data has been handled: A four-level hierarchical classification of product groups was used. Each class on the broadest level of hierarchy (Class 1) was subsequently divided into a reasonable number of finer sub-classes starting with Class level 2, followed by Class 3, and finally, Class 4, which was the most detailed level of hierarchy. The main ingredient of the product group, type of the food and purpose of use, nutritional content, and carbon footprint were considered in the reclassification process. The classified food groups were linked with Finnish food composition database. How the data can be used for research: The re-classified data can be used to measure can be used to infer and describe food purchase patterns, monitor of the nutrition composition of food purchases, monitoring and evaluating dietary environmental and economic sustainability, and deriving consumer segments based on the re-classification. "en": "Abstract Background Effects of antibiotics on gut bacteria have been widely studied, but very little is known about the consequences of such treatments on the fungal microbiota (mycobiota). It is commonly believed that fungal load increases in the gastrointestinal tract following antibiotic treatment, but better characterization is clearly needed of how antibiotics directly or indirectly affect the mycobiota and thus the entire microbiota. Design We used samples from humans (infant cohort) and mice (conventional and human microbiota-associated mice) to study the consequences of antibiotic treatment (amoxicillin-clavulanic acid) on the intestinal microbiota. Bacterial and fungal communities were subjected to qPCR or 16S and ITS2 amplicon-based sequencing for microbiota analysis. In vitro assays further characterized bacterial-fungal interactions, with mixed cultures between specific bacteria and fungi. Results Amoxicillin-clavulanic acid treatment triggered a decrease in the total fungal population in mouse feces, while other antibiotics had opposite effects on the fungal load. This decrease is accompanied by a total remodelling of the fungal population with the enrichment in Aspergillus, Cladosporium, and Valsa genera. In the presence of amoxicillin-clavulanic acid, microbiota analysis showed a remodeling of bacterial microbiota with an increase in specific bacteria belonging to the Enterobacteriaceae. Using in vitro assays, we isolated different Enterobacteriaceae species and explored their effect on different fungal strains. We showed that Enterobacter hormaechei was able to reduce the fungal population in vitro and in vivo through yet unknown mechanisms. Conclusions Bacteria and fungi have strong interactions within the microbiota; hence, the perturbation initiated by an antibiotic treatment targeting the bacterial community can have complex consequences and can induce opposite alterations of the mycobiota. Interestingly, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid treatment has a deleterious effect on the fungal community, which may have been partially due to the overgrowth of specific bacterial strains with inhibiting or competing effects on fungi. This study provides new insights into the interactions between fungi and bacteria of the intestinal microbiota and might offer new strategies to modulate gut microbiota equilibrium. Video Abstract"
