"en": "We examine the physical health consequences to entrepreneurs of firm growth and decline. Drawing on the Challenge Hindrance Stressor Framework and the Allostatic Load model and using register-based panel data (2000-2021), we study (1) whether entrepreneurs are more likely to experience serious, stress-related diseases and premature mortality compared to hired CEOs and a socio-economically similar random sample from the general population, and (2) whether prolonged or episodic exposure to growth or decline (in sales/employees) increases entrepreneurs’ likelihood of serious, stress-related disease onset and premature mortality compared to hired CEOs.\n\nDue to the sensitive nature of the individual data, all the authorities who granted the research permits have very strict conditions regarding the data. Therefore, access to these data is restricted and requires contact with the relevant authorities, a security clearance process and data secure processing of the data. \n\nWhile we are legally prohibited from sharing data, we provide the annotated code that an authorized user of these of these data may use to construct our variables and run the analyses in the OSF archive. Thus, researchers can independently obtain access to the data for replication purposes with the permission of the relevant authorities and replicate the analysis steps using the data descriptions and the code we provide. This will hopefully facilitate the replication efforts with the Finnish data and extension efforts in different countries.\n\nRelated materials: article and supplementary material (including list of data sources)"

"en": "The aim of the National Aquaculture Strategy 2022 is to increase fish farming in Finland. In 2014, the ministries of Agriculture and Forestry and Environment identified areas where new fish farms can be established (link to the national aquaculture location management plan?). Metsähallitus manages over 2 million hectares of public waters in the sea. A large part of the areas suitable for fish farming are located in ranges under the control of Metsähallitus. The aim of the Aquaculture Innovation Program is to carry out research and development activities which can increase domestic fish farming and its value in a sustainable way. The Aquaculture Innovation Program has developed a fish farm allocation tool, FINFARMGIS. The tool is based on an ecosystem approach which considers the impact of fish farming through different ecological, social and economic criteria. The tool can be used to evaluate production sites by the set criteria or more comprehensively by the environmental permit process. FINFARMGIS is updated as spatial data and research data increases. At the moment location optimization takes the following criteria into account (in brackets criterias still under work): 1. Exclusive criteria: fairways, military areas, national parks, wrecks, cables, private and state nature reserves 2. Ecological guiding criteria: Natura SPA areas,Natura SCA areas, sea area openness, ocean current, ecological status classification, depth, underwater nature peak areas (a-chlorophyll, other fish farms load) 3. Social guiding criteria: recreational facilities (recreational areas and fishing areas) 4. Criteria that guide the economy: distance from the shore (high-efficiency production areas, estimate of sustainable production, fish disease risk) The Government's key project “Pilots of the Environmental Statement” recommends that public institutions make the necessary inquiries and obtain environmental permits for entrepreneurs,. As a result, Metsähallitus, the Natural Resources Center and the Finnish Environment Institute are launching a “Kalavaltio” project, where existing research data will be used to identify new production sites in waters owned and controlled by Metsähallitus. The FINFARMGIS tool is used to define sustainable production areas. Also more detailed studies that are required for the environmental permit will be implemented primarily in areas of interest to entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are therefore asked to contact the Natural Resources Center or Metsähallitus if the company is interested in expanding its production in the areas owned and controlled by Metsähallitus. Metsähallitus ja Luonnonvarakeskus arvioivat innovaatio-ohjelmassa yhteistyössä muiden partnereiden kanssa merialueita, jonne tuotantoa olisi mahdollista sijoittaa. \n\nVesiviljelyn innovaatio-ohjelman tavoitteena on toteuttaa tutkimus- ja kehittämistoimia, joilla voidaan lisätä kestävästi kotimaista kalankasvatusta ja sen arvoa. Vesiviljelyn innovaatio-ohjelmassa on kehitetty FINFARMGIS ekosysteemilähestymistapaan perustuvaa kalankasvatuksen sijainninohjaustyökalua, joka ottaa kansallista sijainninohjaussuunnitelmaa tarkemmin huomioon kalankasvatuksen vaikutukset ekologisiin, sosiaalisiin ja taloudellisiin kriteereihin. Jolloin työkalulla voidaan arvioida tuotantopaikkoja kriteerikohtaisesti ja kokonaisvaltaisesti esimerkiksi ympäristölupaprosessissa. \n\nFINFARMGIS tarkentuu paikkatiedon ja tutkimustiedon lisääntyessä ja tarkentuessa. Tällä hetkellä sijainninoptimoinnissa on huomioitu; (suluissa työn alla olevat kriteerit) 1. Poissulkevina kriteereinä; väyläalueet, sotilasalueet, kansallispuistot, hylyt, kaapelit, yksityiset ja valtion luonnonsuojelualueet 2. Ekologisina ohjaavia kriteereinä; Natura SPA alueet; Natura SCA alueet, alueen avoimuus, virtaus, ekologinen tilaluokittelu, syvyys, vedenalaisen luonnon huippualueet (a-klorofylli, muiden kalankasvatuslaitosten kuormitus) 3. Sosiaalisina ohjaavina kriteereinä; vapaa-ajan asutus, (virkistysalueet ja kalastukselle tärkeät alueet) 4. Taloudellisina ohjaavia kriteereitä; etäisyys rannasta ja merialueen avoimuus (lämpötilaltaan tehokkaat tuotantoalueet, arvio kestävästä tuotantomäärä, kalatautiriski) \n\nValtioneuvoston kärkihankkeessa ”Ympäristöluvituksen pilotit” suositus oli, että julkiset instituutiot voisivat tehdä tarvittavat selvitykset ja hakea ympäristöluvat valmiiksi yrittäjille, koska lupaprosessit ovat kalliita ja epävarmoja. Näin ollen Metsähallitus, Luonnonvarakeskus ja Suomen ympäristökeskus ovat käynnistämässä ”Kalavaltio” – hanketta, jossa olemassa oleva tutkimustietoa hyödynnetään uusien tuotantopaikkojen määrittämiseen Metsähallituksen vesialueille. "en": "The thesis, working title “Autism in tension between diagnosis and experience”, explores autistic people's perceptions and experiences of autism, diagnostic processes and various support and rehabilitation services. The data collection was conducted during the first half of 2024. Adults who identify themselves with autism were invited to participate in the study. The invitations were distributed through national and local organisations and social media groups. Data was collected through a) thematic interviews (N=24) and b) a questionnaire (N=107). Both sets deal with the experiences and meanings associated with autism, experiences of diagnostic processes and support and rehabilitation services, and well-being. The collection and processing of the data was supported by a grant from the Finnish Society for Disability Research.",

Aineistonkeruu toteutettiin vuoden 2024 alkupuoliskolla. Tutkimukseen kutsuttiin osallistumaan täysi-ikäisiä henkilöitä, jotka tunnistavat itsensä autisteiksi. Kutsua jaettiin kansallisten ja paikallisten järjestöjen kautta sekä sosiaalisen median ryhmissä. Tutkimuksessa kerättiin aineistoa a) teemahaastatteluilla (N=24) ja b) kyselylomakkeella (N=107). Molemmat aineistot käsittelevät autismiin liitettyjä kokemuksia ja merkityksiä, kokemuksia diagnoosiprosessista ja tuki- ja kuntoutuspalveluista sekä hyvinvointia. (http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rstb.2015.0374) This dataset contains timings and labels of 5 pairs of annotation files. Each pair of files contains annotations of pairs of videos of 1-to-1 music therapy sessions recorded at the Nordoff Robbins London Centre. The annotations and co-rater annotations were made by two qualified Nordoff Robbins Music Therapists with experience in research Sarah Boyce and Camilla Farrant, working in the Research Team, Nordoff Robbins, London Centre, UK. The annotators watched the videos and listened to the soundtrack through headphones independently and inserted annotations in the software ELAN (Wittenburg P, Brugman H, Russel A, Klassmann A, Sloetjes H. 2006. "en": "This dataset contains the observations of the Sun made with various radio-frequency instruments at the Aalto University Metsähovi Radio Observatory since 1978. The dataset is growing when new observations are added every month. The data are mostly raw data or output from the various measurement systems; calibration is left for the user. However, ready plots are available for most of the astronomically interesting observations.\r\nThis dataset contains: (i) total intensity maps of the solar disk measured with the 14-metre radio telescope at 37 GHz since 1978 (data from years 1978-1987 are digitized from contour plot printouts and converted to match the modern data format), (ii) total intensity of the Sun at 11.2 GHz, measured continuously with a 1.8-metre radio telescope since 2001, (iii) other data such as total irradiance / pyrheliometer data, telescope pointing data, weather parameters, and other auxiliary information.\r\nData is accessible at: https://etsin.fairdata.fi/dataset/173e31f9-744d-4092-8968-b29c5684cadb.
