Also, peak period and corresponding direction of the waves is given at time of maximum wave height. \n\nDataset is calculated for time period of 1/1/1993 to 31/12/2021 from Baltic Sea Wave Hindcast by Copernicus Marine Services (https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00014) Results are published in article \"Event-based wave statistics for the Baltic Sea\" (https://doi.org/10.5194/sp-2023-16)"

Previous works have shown that a stacked domain structure in a rhombohedral BiFeO<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> ferroelectric epitaxial thin film is able to satisfy the criteria of both a small mean free path for an optimized photocurrent and a large distance between electrodes for an optimized photovoltage. Nevertheless, this hypothesis has remained difficult to verify with other materials due to the complication of domain wall manipulation. This work takes advantage of the recent advances in controlling the domain structure in rhombohedral Pb(Mg<jats:sub>1/3</jats:sub>Nb<jats:sub>2/3</jats:sub>)O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>‐PbTiO<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> (PMN‐PT) single crystals via AC poling. By comparing the photovoltage and photocurrent values after domain manipulations in four types of commercial PMN‐PT samples, this work validates the hypothesis of the stacked domain structure enhancing the BPVE by witnessing a simultaneous increase of over 35% for both the open‐circuit voltage and short‐circuit current from DC to the AC‐poled states under a 405 nm laser illumination. This result paves the way for further improving the BPVE efficiency in ferroelectrics.</jats:p>",

Two Pb‐containing ceramic fillers, Pb(Zr,Ti)O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> and Pb(Mg<jats:sub>1/3</jats:sub>Nb<jats:sub>2/3</jats:sub>)O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>‐PbTiO<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>, which possess distinct permittivity and Curie temperatures, are used in the study. A wide range of fabrication temperatures span the fillers’ and binder's phase transition and decomposition regions are involved. Results suggest that a coincidence of the filler's ferroelectric‐paraelectric phase transition with the binder's decomposition during fabrication can significantly degrade the composite's electrical properties due to the microstructural frustration among porosity increase, densification lag, and enlarged filler‐binder permittivity mismatch. This work has achieved the champion relative permittivity of ∼600 at 1 kHz and comparable piezoelectric responses (charge and voltage coefficients of ∼90 pC N<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> and 31‐32 mVm N<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>, respectively) among all the known upside‐down composites. These results advance the understanding of structure‐property correlations in upside‐down composites.</jats:p>",

"en": "This dataset contains a list of articles (total 11664) extracted from the Scopus database concerning adsorption of ammonium, arsenic, lead, methylene blue, or nitrate from water. Using, the freely available abstracts, adsorption capacities and material class of the adsorbent was tabulated using a large language model.\n\nLiterature was searched from the Scopus database using the search phrase ((adsorption OR adsorbent OR sorption OR sorbent) AND \"adsorbate\" AND \"mg/g\") where “adsorbate” was replaced by “methylene blue”, “arsenic”, “(ammonium OR NH4+)”, “(nitrate OR NO3-)“, or “(lead OR Pb). The search was limited to abstracts, document type as articles, and source type as journals. The search results (11,664 articles) were exported from the Scopus database as comma separated value (CSV) files.\n\nTo estimate the coverage of the literature, another search was conducted by removing the “mg/g” from the search phrase and combining all the adsorbates into one search phrase (i.e., the new search phrase was: “(adsorption OR adsorbent OR sorption OR sorbent) AND (\"methylene blue\" OR arsenic OR ammonium OR NH4+ OR nitrate OR NO3- OR lead OR Pb)”) applying similar exclusion criteria (i.e., publication year until 2023 and language in English). This search returned 106,120 articles, and thus the coverage is approx. 11% of all articles addressing the selected adsorbates.\n\nThe collected text corpus was sequentially analyzed by an AI solution called Aida (developed by AI4Value Oy, Finland). First, the information for each material was extracted from the abstract into a structured format containing the name of the adsorbent, name of the adsorbate, adsorption capacity, and unit. If several materials were mentioned, only the material with the highest capacity was selected. Finally, the categories of the best adsorbent materials were deduced from the abstract into predefined 23 different classes (i.e., carbon nanotubes, biomass/biopolymers, metal oxides, metal-organic frameworks, metal hydroxides, hydrogels, other natural minerals, graphene oxides, covalent organic frameworks, metal carbonates, biochars, zeolites, clay minerals, Mxenes, other aluminosilicates, hydroxyapatites, other unclassified, other organic polymers, commercial ion-exchange resins, Mo sulfides, activated carbons, layered double hydroxides, and silica). GPT 3.5 turbo was selected as the large language model in the Aida software for this task.\n\nThe spreadsheets containing the adsorption capacities were then manually checked to remove clearly false results (e.g., wrong adsorbate or some other parameter than adsorption capacity retrieved). The results in other units than mg g-1 (e.g., µg g-1 or mmol g-1) were manually converted to mg g-1. The adsorption capacities were classified per year of publication for analysis. \n\nThe reliability of the results was verified by selecting randomly 100 studies from the spreadsheet and manually finding the maximum adsorption capacities from their abstracts. When comparing the results to the ones obtained by Aida, 98% of the results were similar. In the 2%, the interpretation of the abstract in terms of the reported maximum adsorption capacity was not unambiguous (e.g., there were several numbers mentioned, and the sentence structure was unclear). Based on this validation, the results can be considered very accurate for statistical analyses."

They support the findings presented in the main article and its supplementary material.\n\nABSTRACT: Degenerative musculoskeletal diseases like osteoarthritis can be initiated by joint injury. Injurious overloading-induced mechanical straining of articular cartilage and subsequent biological responses may trigger cartilage degradation. One early sign of degradation is loss of aggrecan content which is potentially accelerated near chondral lesions under physiological loading. Yet, the mechanoinflammatory mechanisms explaining time-dependent degradation in regions with disparate mechanical loading are unclear and challenging to assess with experiments alone. Here, we developed computational models unraveling potential mechanisms behind aggrecan content adaptation in fibril-reinforced porohyperelastic cartilage after single injurious overloading (50% compressive strain magnitude, 100%/s strain rate) followed by physiological cyclic loading (15% strain, 1 Hz, haversine waveform). The simulated adaptation of aggrecan content was compared spatially and at several time points to tissue composition found in Safranin-O-stained sections of young bovine articular cartilage subjected to the same loading protocols. Incorporating mechanical strain-driven cell damage and downstream proteolytic enzyme release, fluid flow-driven aggrecan depletion, and fluid pressure-stimulated regulation of aggrecan biosynthesis, the models agreed with experiments and exhibited 14%-points greater near-lesion aggrecan loss after 12 days of physiological loading compared to without loading. The near-lesion aggrecan loss was driven by fluid flow and proteolytic aggrecanase activity, while chondroprotective pro-anabolic responses (increased aggrecan biosynthesis) were prominent in the deeper tissue despite damaged superficial layer. This significant advancement in mechanistic understanding incorporated into cartilage adaptation model can help in development and guidance of personalized therapies, such as rehabilitation protocols and tissue-engineered constructs."

(in preparation) of 23 measurement stations in Tampere. \n\nTechnical Info: \n\nNB: Update on 2.6.2025: data file Tampere_202505.dat added and file Tampere_Table1_New.txt added.\n\nThe measurements were conducted at a height of 3 m in the locations listed in Tampere_Table1_New.txt during 07/2023-05/2025. Each measurement station consisted of three parts: a temperature and humidity sensor, a solar radiation shield, and an Internet of Things (IoT) device, which collected the measurement data and communicated them to a server via Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN). Temperature and relative humidity (RH) were measured by one integrated sensor, the Digital Matter I2C Temperature and Humidity Sensor [https://www.digitalmatter.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/I2C-Temperature-and-Humidity-Sensor-Datasheet.pdf] Within the sensor, the temperature and RH were measured using the Silicon Labs Si7021-A20 I2C Humidity and Temperature Sensor chip. The chip is factory calibrated and has maximum operating ranges of 0% to 100% RH and -40°C to +125°C temperature. The measurement accuracy for temperature is maximum ±0.4°C if the ambient temperature is between -10°C and 85°C. The measurement accuracy of the chip is maximum ±3% RH if the ambient RH is between 0% and 80%. \n\nThe Temperature and Humidity Sensor was protected by a radiation shield to minimize the influence of direct sunlight and thermal radiation on the measurements. The radiation shield (height 11.5 cm, radius 14 cm) was made of white plastic and consisted of 9 ventilated plates stacked in a cylindrical design allowing for adequate airflow while shielding the sensor from external radiation. \n\nQuality check \nThe temperature data was quality checked using a multi-step procedure. First, values were screened based on long-term climatological daily minimum and maximum temperatures derived from 10 km × 10 km resolution gridded temperature data for the Tampere region (Aalto et al., 2016). Measurements falling clearly outside the climatological range were removed. Subsequently, remaining values were filtered based on statistical properties of the measurements, using median and median absolute deviation (MAD) over short time intervals to identify and remove outliers. A final threshold based on deviations from the local median was applied to exclude any remaining extreme values.\n\nThe Local Climate Zones (LCZs) in Table 1. have been defined for each measurement station following the Global LCZ data (Demuzere 2022a, Demuzere, et al. 2022b) based on the Local Climate Zone (LCZ) Classification system by Stewart and Oke (2012). \n\nTable Of Contents: \n\nThe descriptions of the measurement stations are in Tampere_Table1_New.txt. \nColumns \n1. The measurement accuracy of the chip is maximum ±3% RH if the ambient RH is between 0% and 80%.\n\nThe Temperature and Humidity Sensor was protected by a radiation shield to minimize the influence of direct sunlight and thermal radiation on the measurements. The radiation shield (height 11.5 cm, radius 14 cm) was made of white plastic and consisted of 9 ventilated plates stacked in a cylindrical design allowing for adequate airflow while shielding the sensor from external radiation.\n\nQuality check\nThe temperature data was quality checked using a multi-step procedure. First, values were screened based on long-term climatological daily minimum and maximum temperatures derived from 10 km × 10 km resolution gridded temperature data for the Tampere region (Aalto et al., 2016). Measurements falling clearly outside the climatological range were removed. Subsequently, remaining values were filtered based on statistical properties of the measurements, using median and median absolute deviation (MAD) over short time intervals to identify and remove outliers. A final threshold based on deviations from the local median was applied to exclude any remaining extreme values.\n\nThe Local Climate Zones (LCZs) in Helsinki_Table1_New. have been defined for each measurement station following the Global LCZ data (Demuzere 2022a, Demuzere, et al. 2022b) based on the Local Climate Zone (LCZ) Classification system by Stewart and Oke (2012).\n\nTable Of Contents:\n\nThe descriptions of the measurement stations are in Helsinki_Table1_New.txt.\nColumns\n1. "en": "Voters’ issue preferences have been shown to be key determinants of vote choice, making it essential to reduce measurement error in responses to issue questions in surveys. This study uses a MultiTrait MultiError approach to assess the data quality of issue questions by separating four sources of variation: trait, acquiescence, method, and random error. The questions generally achieved moderate data quality, with 76% on average representing valid variance. Random error made up the largest proportion of error (23%). Error due to method and acquiescence was small. We found that 5-point scales are generally better than 11-point scales, while answers by respondents with lower political sophistication achieved lower data quality. The findings indicate a need to focus on decreasing random error when studying issue positions."
