"en": "The GMVA combines the eight 3mm receiver equipped stations of the VLBA and up to six European observatories, including Effelsberg, Onsala, Metsahovi, Pico Veleta, Plateau de Bure, and since 2012, Yebes. Data were recorded at 512 Mbit/s, with eight 8MHz channels, in dual polarisation. Onsala and Yebes observed in left circular polarisation (LCP) only. For these stations, LCP was assumed to be equal to RCP and hence Stokes I. Scans of approximately 7 minutes every 15 minutes were recorded with pointing and calibration performed on European stations in the gaps between scans.(2 data files). \r\n\r\nComments: list.dat 7x112 List of fits images; fits/* 7. "en": "Freshwater is one of the most critical elements for sustainable development of ecosystems and societies. River basins, concomitant with administrative zones, form a common unit for freshwater management. So far, no comprehensive, global analysis exists that would link the ecological challenges of the planet's river basins to the capacity of the societies to cope with them. We address this gap by performing a geospatial resilience analysis for a global set of 541 river basins. We use the social‐ecological systems (SES) approach by relating three ecological vulnerability factors (human footprint, natural hazards, water scarcity) with three adaptive capacity factors (governance, economy, human development), based on temporal trajectories from 1990 to 2015. Additionally, we examine resilience by subtracting ecological vulnerability from adaptive capacity. The most striking result is the fundamentally different patterns of controlling factors of the resilience in different developing regions, particularly those of Africa and Asia. Their root causes are particularly low adaptive capacity in Africa, and high ecological vulnerability in Asia. Alarmingly, the difference between those continents grew within the study period. Finally, this study highlights the rapid dynamics of adaptive capacity in comparison to ecological vulnerability, the latter having more inertia. Their fragile balance is of our interest; they can either support or counteract each other depending on the geographic location. Licence: CC0"

"en": "This video demostrates wireless HD video transmission from a capsule placed inside a liquid human-body-phantom to a receiver located outside of this phantom. We show and discuss how different parameters affect link quality.\r\nWe designed the antenna system as well as the test setup, in order to enable transmitting HD video data from a capsule embedded inside the the human body, wirelessly to a receiver placed outside the body. The wireless link in this test setup is realised with software-defined-radios handling the video transmission and reception, and especially designed antennas for the capsule transmitter and for the on-body receiver. The target application is wireless gastroendoscopy, i.e. medical applications that require high-resolution video images from inside the gastrointestinal tract of a patient. We hence demonstrate one promising practical implementation of an antenna system that enables very high data rates needed to ensure HD video transmission."

"en": "The dataset contains files from quantum-chemical calculations of CuF crystal structures implemented by CRYSTAL17 (v. 1.0.1 and v. 1.0.2) and CRYSCOR codes (a development version). Input parameters of the calculations can be found at the beginning of the CRYSTAL17 and CRYSCOR output files. All of these CuF crystal structures were predicted by the evolutionary algorithm-based method (USPEX). Please, read the paper (https://doi.org/10.1002/chem.201902314) for more details. \r\n\r\nPBE0 hybrid functional and TZVP basis set were used for the optimization of CuF structures. Grimme's D3 dispersion correction with zero-damping scheme (ZD) was utilized in all optimizations. Then, single point calculations of optimized by DFT-D3 CuF structures were implemented by local second‐order Møller–Plesset perturbation theory (LMP2). TZVPP basis set was used in this case (TZVP for F). LMP2 calculations with extended basis sets (TZVPP+f) were carried out for some structures found by DFT-D3.\r\n\r\nThe files in the dataset have the names like \"Z2a\" which reflect labels of the CuF structures (read the paper (https://doi.org/10.1002/chem.201902314) for more details). Label tells the number of formula units used in the USPEX search that produced the structure (Z=2 for Z2 a i.e. Cu2F2). Letter (a, b, c, …) tells the energy ranking of the structure within this class of structures (\"a\" being the lowest‐energy structure). Dataset contains the files of CuF with the following numbers of units: 2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8."

"en": "The purpose of this dataset is to supplement the data presented in our conference publication \"Self-user shadowing effects of millimeter-wave mobile phone antennas in a browsing mode\" at EuCAP 2019 (see https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8739947).\r\n\r\nThis dataset contains the 3-D surface meshes of the two human body models used in the above publication. One body model holds the mobile phone with one hand (vertically, \"OneHand\") and the other one with both hands (horizontally, \"TwoHand\"). The body models were exported from MakeHuman (http://www.makehumancommunity.org/) the actual body postures were then created with Blender 3D creation suite (https://www.blender.org/) and these final body models were exported in OBJ format (a generic geometry definition file format). Then these were imported to CST Studio Suite (www.cst.com) to simulate the realised-gain patterns of the dual-polarised mobile phone antenna. The material properties of the human body model are described in detail in the above publication. Also the antenna design with one vertical feed port and one horizontal feed port is described in detail within the above publication (see Fig. 3) and is not part of this dataset. (Note that \"port #1\" in Fig. 3 of the publication is the vertical antenna port for the one-hand case, but the horizontally antenna port in the two-hand case.)\r\n\r\nThis dataset also contains the polarimetric, directional, complex-valued (real, imaginary) realised-gain patterns, seperately for 28 GHz and for 60 GHz, in 1-degree resolution in both phi and theta directions. The patterns are seperately given for the vertical (\"VPolPatch\")and the horizontal feed port (\"HPolPatch\"). The 2-D pattern cuts presented in the above publication are subsets of these 3-D patterns.\r\n\r\nThe format of the eight ascii files {xxGHzStandingyyHandzzPolPatch.txt} is a follows:\r\n1st column: Theta angle in degrees\r\n2nd column: Phi angle in degrees\r\n3rd column: real part of Gain, theta component, in dBi\r\n4th column: imaginary part of Gain, theta component, in dBi\r\n5th column: real part of Gain, phi component, in dBi\r\n6th column: imaginary part of Gain, phi component, in dBi\r\nwhere xx is \"28\" or \"60\" (GHz), yy is \"One\" or \"Two\" (-hand grip), and zz is \"H\" or \"V\" (-pol. antenna port), as described above.\r\n\r\nThe spherical coordinate system is used in accordance to the IEEE-standard spherical coordinate system. The underlying Cartesian coordinate system is shown in the two attached preview (PNG) image files for both human body models, where the z-axis (theta=0 degrees) points to the directions of the head of the human, the x-axis (phi=0 degrees) towards the left side of the human, and the y-axis toward the back of the human."

"en": "The dataset presents a list of laboratories set up in the humanities, digital humanities, and media studies within universities across the world in 1983-2018. The data are collected and organized in an interactive map designed in the digital StoryMapJS tool, creating a valuable visible representation of the laboratory concept from a geographical and historical perspective. Based on the interactive map, I analyze the history of the laboratory in the humanities within a global context from the 1980s to 2018. The dataset includes 214 laboratories.\r\n\r\nData collection\r\nI identified laboratories by using different resources such as universities’ websites, articles, and research projects. Besides, I sent a questionnaire to the most relevant networks in October 2018 to identify even more labs created in (digital) humanities and media studies at universities.\r\n\r\nData organization\r\nI collected data about each lab based on its website and other resources. I extracted the following data: year established, year ended (if applicable), lab’s name, university, city, country, affiliation and location (if provided), disciplines and keywords (based on labs’ statements and projects and aiming to situate a lab), selected projects (if provided), purpose (a short quotation of a lab’s statement published on its website), website, and geographical latitude and longitude. I organized all the data in chronological order according to year established in Google Sheets. Next, I used StoryMapJS, a free tool designed by the Northwestern University’s Knight Lab, to map my data."

"en": "We provide plane-wave propagation path data from a wideband MIMO radio channel sounding measurement in an urban microcell scenario. The binary Matlab file includes: direction of departure (DOD: variables \"par.PhiTx\" and \"par.ThetaTx\" in [rad]), direction of arrival (DOA: \"par.PhiRx\" and \"par.ThetaRx\" in [rad]), delay (\"par.Tau\" to be multiplied with 8.3ns, the tab length), and complex polarimetric path gain (\"par.Alpha\" is a 2x2 matrix, where element [1,1]=TXtheta ->RXtheta, [1,2]=TXphi ->RXtheta, [2,1]=TXtheta->RXphi, and [2,2]=TXphi->RXphi), for the 30 strongest signal paths (from TX to RX) at each of the 4574 RX locations along the route described below. In the element names above, the term \"theta\" refers to the vertically polarised component, and accordingly the term \"phi\" referes to the horizontally polarised component.\r\nNote #1: The exact RX location for each individual measured radio channel was NOT recorded (see route description below). \r\nNote #2: The complex path gain (par.Alpha) is NOT calibrated, but depends on the initially fixed AGC level in the receiver, which was chosen to provide the best dynamic range for the given mobile (RX) route.\r\nBoth these limitations are seen reasonable since this dataset is meant for the realistic *statistical comparison* of the performance of different RX antennas in a microcell environment (and not to determine the actual received power at each exact location of the measured route).\r\nBackground information: The provided dataset is processed and is based on a radio channel sounder measurement at 5.3 GHz, carried out in downtown Helsinki, Finland, in April 2004. The uniform rectangular transmit (TX) array was placed at 10 m height in Aleksanterinkatu-street (an approx. 15-m wide street canyon), in front of the Nordea building, broadside pointing westwards (towards Stockmann building). The semishperical receive (RX) array was moved at 1.6-m height and for about 50 m along Aleksanterinkatu-street in line-of-sight (LOS), i.e. from in front of Kluuvi shopping centre westwards just across the crossing of Kluuvikatu-street. The TX and RX arrays cover the relevant azimuth and elevation ranges, so that this plane wave propagation path data can directly be combined with the polarimetric directional radiation pattern(s) of an antenna (array)."
