Selected works are presented as part of the paper.\r\n\r\nAbstract:\r\n\r\nLaser powder bed fusion (LPBF) has become an established method for manufacturing end-use metal components. Exploiting the geometric freedom of additive manufacturing (AM) offers broad possibilities for part optimization and enables performance enhancements across industry sectors. However, part shape and feature size have been found to locally affect residual stresses, melt pool cooling rates, microstructure, and thus the mechanical properties of components. Even though the mesoscale structure can locally induce microstructural changes, there are no prior studies on how it influences corrosion. Using AM-produced, optimized parts in critical applications necessitates a better understanding of their long-term performance. In this study, lattice structures were used to probe the influence of feature size and shape on corrosion susceptibility and its spatial localization.\r\n\r\nThe susceptibility of submillimeter LPBF-fabricated 316L stainless steel lattice structures to corrosion was investigated by conducting a 21-day immersion corrosion test in an aqueous 3.5wt% NaCl solution. Schoen gyroid and Schwarz diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices were manufactured with three unit cell sizes and wall thicknesses (0.867, 0.515, and 0.323 mm). The nominal surface and cross-sectional areas were the same for the two geometries. X-ray microcomputed tomography (microCT) scans before and after the corrosion test were compared for volumetric losses. In addition, the mechanical properties and microstructure of the samples were evaluated.\r\n\r\nAs part of the study, a workflow to register, index, and analyze volumetric changes of consecutive microCT image stacks was developed. The method is fully reported and applicable to time-lapse studies with microCT. Three out of five of the 0.323 mm wall thickness lattices displayed visually aggressive pitting. Based on the microcomputed tomography data, the mass losses were localized either in the entrapped powder particles or partially melted surface globules. Corrosion did not occur in the dense base material. The total mass losses ranged from 8 to 19 mg. Despite visual indications to support a higher corrosion susceptibility for the smallest lattice sizes, the mass loss values did not confirm this conclusion. The tensile test results did not provide any clear indications of latent corrosion effects on mechanical properties.\r\n\r\nVersion 1.1: 'Microstructure.zip' was revised. Metallographic preparation and Beraha II etching was redone for selected samples. New images and grain size (and grain distribution) measurements were added.\r\n\r\nVersion 1.2: 'CT_Data_Heatmap_example.zip' was added."

This is a bit slower and consumes a bit more memory, as the code needs to work around some subtle differences between the MATLAB and PyTorch functions. "en": "The presented dataset is collected in seven centrifuge tests, specifically designed for modelling the lateral response of offshore monopiles in a dense sand. Two model piles with outer diameter D = 50 mm are loaded laterally at 100×g. The embedding depths are 3D, 5D, 7D and 9D with load eccentricity varies from 5 to 15. Fibre Bragg gratings (FBGs) are employed to measure the tensile and compressive strains. The raw data from various sensors during the tests and the analysed data (e.g. soil reaction, pile deflection) are included in separate editable files, enabling future reuse and further development of the experimental results."

PDOS\r\n 4). kappa-quenchRate\r\n 5). kappa-size\r\n 6). kappa-temperature\r\n \r\n1). NEMD directory contains calculations of ballistic conductance using NEMD method, where 6 independent cycles are run to average.\r\n\r\n2). NEPpotential directory is the trained NEP potential.\r\n\r\n3). PDOS directory contains phonon density of states of a-Si samples generated by the quench rate of 10^{11} K/s.\r\n\r\n4). kappa-quenchRate directory contains HNEMD calculations of a-Si samples which are prepared using melt-quench temperature protocols with the quench rates covering from 10^{11} to 5x10^{12} K/s. In each case, 3 independent cycles are run.\r\n\r\n5). kappa-size directory contains HNEMD calculations based on different supercells. 6 independent cycles are run.\r\n\r\n6). kappa-temperature directory contains HNEMD calculations of a-Si samples which are prepared for different targeted temperatures using slow quench rate of 10^{11} K/s."

"en": "The most commonly reported microstructural measure in literature is the average grain size. In addition to measurement of average grain size, other material specific factors such as differences in phase structure and grain size distribution need to be considered. For heterogeneous materials such as welded low-alloy steel joints, the grain size distribution is of particular interest since it has been shown to influence the mechanical properties. Improved grain size measurement methods are thus required to enhance the understanding between grain size distribution and mechanical properties.\r\n\r\nThese codes are an implementation of the line- and point-sampled linear intercept length methods published in Refs. [1-2], utilising the functionalities of Matlab image processing toolbox. The separate codes are provided: the line-sampled intercept length measures the average grain size (d), and the relative grain size dispersion (Delta d/d). The line-sampled procedure is based on the ASTM E1382 standard. In addition, the point-sampled linear-intercept length method measures the volume-weighted average grain size, which is more relevant for mechanical properties than the average grain size for microstructures with a broad grain size dispersion. \r\n\r\nThe point-sampled code is partially obsolete, and has been superseeded by a newer version also capable of measuring spatial grain size variation, available at: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5180743. For more details, refer to the two publications [1-2], and WIKI page [3] given below.\r\n\r\nInstallation\r\n\r\nOpen linesampled_intercept_length_v1b.m or pointsampled_intercept_length_v1b.mPre-process the grain boundary maps according to the instructions on in Ref. [3]. Two example grain boundary maps are provided, one extracted from HKL Channel 5 software, the other post-processed from an optical micrograph. Note that grain boundaries must have a thickness larger than 1 pixel, otherwise measurements will bleed through gaps in the boundaries.Check the parameters set at sections 'Input data', 'Output settings' and 'Linear intercept parameters'. "en": "This data set is comprised of three packed zip files and they include text files of 3D information from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and aerial imagery from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from individual Scots pine trees within 27 sample plots from three test sites located in southern Finland.\r\n\r\nTLS data acquisition was carried out with Trimble TX5 3D laser scanner (Trible Navigation Limited, USA) for all three study sites between September and October 2018. Eight scans were placed to each sample plot and scan resolution of point distance approximately 6.3 mm at 10-m distance was used. Artificial constant sized spheres (i.e. diameter of 198 mm) were placed around sample plots and used as reference objects for registering the eight scans onto a single, aligned coordinate system. The registration was carried out with FARO Scene software (version 2018). Aerial images were obtained by using an UAV with Gryphon Dynamics quadcopter frame. Two Sony A7R II digital cameras were mounted on the UAV in +15° and -15° angles. Images were acquired in every two seconds and image locations were recorded for each image. The flights were carried out on October 2, 2018. For each study site, eight ground control points (GCPs) were placed and measured. Flying height of 140 m and a flying speed of 5 m/s was selected for all the flights, resulting in 1.6 cm ground sampling distance. Total of 639, 614 and 663 images were captured for study site 1, 2, and 3, respectively, resulting in 93% and 75% forward and side overlaps, respectively. Photogrammetric processing of aerial images was carried out following the workflow as presented in Viljanen et al. (2018). The processing produced photogrammetric point clouds for each study site with point density of 804 points/m<sup>2</sup>, 976 points/m<sup>2</sup>, and 1030 points/m<sup>2</sup> for study site 1, 2, and 3, respectively.\r\n\r\nThe sample plots within the three test sites have been managed with different thinning treatments in either 2005 or 2006. The experimental design of the sample plots includes two levels of thinning intensity and three thinning types resulting in six different thinning treatments, namely i) moderate thinning from below, ii) moderate thinning from above, iii) moderate systematic thinning, iv) intensive thinning from below, v) intensive thinning from above, and vi) intensive systematic thinning, as well as a control plot where no thinning has been carried out since the establishment. More information about the study sites and samples plots as well as the thinning treatments can be found in Saarinen et al. (2020a).\r\n\r\nThe data set includes stem points of individual Scot pine trees extracted from the point clouds. More about the method of extraction can be found in Saarinen et al. (2020a, 2020b) and Yrttimaa et al. (2020). The title of the zip file refers to the study sites 1, 2, and 3. The title of the text files includes the information on the test site, the plot within the test site, and the tree within the plot. The text files contain stem points extracted from the TLS point clouds. The columns “x” and “y” contain x- and y-coordinates in a local coordinate system (in meters), in column “h” is the height of each point in meters above ground, and treeID is the tree identification number. The columns are separated by space.\r\n\r\nBased on the study site and plot number, files from different thinning treatments can be identified by using the information in Table 1 in Saarinen et al. "en": "Research data to accommodate the article \"Overlay journals: a study of the current landscape\" (https://doi.org/10.1177/09610006221125208)\r\n\r\nIdentifying the sample of overlay journals was an explorative process (occurring during April 2021 to February 2022). The sample of investigated overlay journals were identified by using the websites of Episciences.org (2021), Scholastica (2021), Free Journal Network (2021), Open Journals (2021), PubPub (2022), and Wikipedia (2021). In total, this study identified 34 overlay journals. Please see the paper for more details about the excluded journal types.\r\n\r\nThe journal ISSN numbers, manuscript source repositories, first overlay volumes, article volumes, publication languages, peer-review type, licence for published articles, author costs, publisher types, submission policy, and preprint availability policy were observed by inspecting journal editorial policies and submission guidelines found from journal websites. The overlay journals’ ISSN numbers were identified by examining journal websites and cross-checking this information with the Ulrich’s periodicals database (Ulrichsweb, 2021). Journals that published review reports, either with reviewers’ names or anonymously, were classified as operating with open peer-review. Publisher types defined by Laakso and Björk (2013) were used to categorise the findings concerning the publishers. If the journal website did not include publisher information, the editorial board was interpreted to publish the journal.\r\n\r\nThe Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) field of science classification was used to categorise the journals into different domains of science. The journals’ primary OECD field of sciences were defined by the authors through examining the journal websites.\r\n\r\nWhether the journals were indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scopus, or Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science Core collection’s journal master list was examined by searching the services with journal ISSN numbers and journal titles.\r\n\r\nThe identified overlay journals were examined from the viewpoint of both qualitative and quantitative journal metrics. The qualitative metrics comprised the Nordic expert panel rankings of scientific journals, namely the Finnish Publication Forum, the Danish Bibliometric Research Indicator and the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers. Searches were conducted from the web portals of the above services with both ISSN numbers and journal titles. Clarivate Analytics’ Journal Citation Reports database was searched with the use of both ISSN numbers and journal titles to identify whether the journals had a Journal Citation Indicator (JCI), Two-Year Impact Factor (IF) and an Impact Factor ranking (IF rank). The examined Journal Impact Factors and Impact Factor rankings were for the year 2020 (as released in 2021)."

The results consist of aggregated networks of citations between scientific journals and their blocks inferred using a stochastic block model. See the article for details on the methods and data sources.\r\n\r\n\r\nNetwork construction\r\nThe article contains a detailed description of the network and block construction.\r\n\r\nThe full citation data is split into 10-year (1900s-1970s) and 5-year windows (after 1970s), and networks are constructed using only the data inside these windows. In each time window, a node corresponds to an <em>active</em> journal that has publications in the given time period. The connections between the journals are constructed using outgoing citations from these journals such that there is a directed link from journal <em>a</em> to journal <em>b</em> if an article in journal <em>a</em> cites an article in journal <em>b</em>, and the weight of this link is taken to be the number of such citations. For each time window only the contemporary citations satisfying the following two criteria are used:\r\n (1) the cited article is published in a journal that is active in the time window, and\r\n (2) the time difference between the citing and the cited article is shorter than the length of the window. \r\n\r\nThe results of this procedure are found in files named \"edgelist_level_0.txt\" and \"blocks_level_0.txt\". Higher levels are the results of fitting a hierarchical, degree-corrected stochastic blockmodel (as implemented in python package graph-tool, version 2.19dev) onto the networks at level_0.\r\n\r\n\r\nData format\r\nData for each time window is placed in a separate directory.\r\nFiles with filenames starting with 'edgelist_' contain one edge per line, in the format:\r\n\r\nsource target weight\r\n\r\nsource and target are zero-indexed numbers, representing blocks whose content can be found in files with filenames starting with 'blocks_'. Each line in 'blocks_' files contains a space-separated list of journals belonging to a block, and the line number they are at corresponds to the serial number of the block (note: since blocks are zero-indexed, line Nr 1 corresponds to block Nr 0, etc.).\r\n\r\nField assignments of each journal is given in files named 'blocks_fields.txt', in the same format as other 'blocks_' files.
