The views of those participants who would like to be sterilised but did not meet the conditions set in the Sterilisation Act were also examined. Background information included the participant's gender and age group. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD. Ten IMU sensors were employed to record IMU9 data. These sensors were strategically placed on the subject's body: one on the chest, one on the waist, two on each upper and lower arm, and two on each thigh and calf. Data was collected from 29 participants aged 18 to 60, covering 13 typical daily activities. Themes of the survey included impact of a doctoral degree on employment, job satisfaction and development suggestions for doctoral education. The respondents were first asked to what extent different reasons had impacted their decision to take up a doctoral degree, and how they had financed their studies. They were asked to estimate the share of time they had spent on their doctoral dissertation alongside other work. Relating to employment situation and quality of work, questions charted how the degree had affected the respondents' status in the job market and what their occupational status was at the time of the survey and what it had been 6 months before starting the degree and 6 months after finishing it. The respondents were asked if they had been unemployed after finishing their degree, and reasons were charted that potentially had hindered their employment. The respondents who were in paid work were asked the type of their current work tasks and the competences needed in their work. It was also examined whether a doctoral degree was a prerequisite for their current job, how well the respondents' work corresponded to their qualifications, and whether their work was related to the topic of their doctoral dissertation. Gross monthly income was also charted. With regard to the significance of a doctoral degree in occupational life, general satisfaction with the degree was charted along with opinions on whether doctoral education was useful when it came to different types of competences needed in occupational life. Relating to developing and improving doctoral education, views were probed on things that should be emphasised in the education (e.g. skills related to teaching, entrepreneurship, management, popularisation of research results, career planning, presentation skills). Vuoden 2019 tohtoriuraseurannalla kartoitettiin vuonna 2016 suomalaisista yliopistoista valmistuneiden tohtoreiden varhaista työuraa ja työtilannetta kolme vuotta valmistumisen jälkeen. Kyselyn teemoja ovat muun muassa tohtorikoulutuksen vaikutus työllistymiseen, koulutuksen vastaavuus työelämän osaamistarpeisiin nähden ja nykyisen työsuhteen laatu. Ensiksi vastaajilta kysyttiin heidän työmarkkinatilanteestaan tohtorin tutkinnon suorittamista ennen ja sen jälkeen sekä mahdollisista työttömyysjaksoista tutkinnon suorittamisen jälkeen. Seuraavaksi kysyttiin vastaajan nykyisestä työsuhteesta ja sen laadusta sekä tiedusteltiin tohtorikoulutuksen ja tutkinnon merkitystä. Vastaajan tuli muun muassa arvioida, kuinka tohtorikoulutus kehitti erilaisia työelämävalmiuksia ja kuinka tärkeitä nämä tiedot ja taidot ovat vastaajan nykyisessä työssä. Tutkimusten mukaan jatkuva oppiminen on edellytys organisaatioiden innovatiiviselle toiminnalle yhtälailla kun innovaatiot itsessään toimivat yhteisöllisen oppimisen sytyttäjänä. Työntekijälähtöisestä oppimisesta ja innovoinnista on kuitenkin vielä rajallisesti ymmärrystä. Työntekijälähtöinen innovaatio (employee-driven innovation – EDI) on käsite sellaiselle työpaikkojen arjessa tapahtuvalle innovaatiotoiminnalle, jonka rakentumisessa työntekijöillä on keskeinen rooli. Työntekijälähtöiset innovaatiot nähdään yksilölle, työtiimille, organisaatiolle tai sidosryhmille uutuusarvoa luovina  ideoina, näkökulmina, käytäntöinä, tuotteina tai toimintatapoina.\n\nMillaisten yksilöllisten ja sosiokulttuuristen edellytysten myötä työntekijälähtöiset innovaatiot rakentuvat arjessa ja miten? Millä tavoin oppiminen nivoutuu näihin prosesseihin? Millaisia – tavoiteltuja tai ei-toivottuja – seurauksia innovaatioilla on?\n\nTämän seurantatutkimuksen tavoitteena on kehittää moninäkökulmaista teoriaa työntekijälähtöisestä oppimisesta ja innovoinnista pitkittäisetnografisen tutkimusotteen avulla. Aineistot litteroitiin sanatarkasti, minkä jälkeen alkuperäiset äänitallenteet tuhottiin.\nLitteroinnin yhteydessä aineistosta poistettiin suorat tunnistetiedot, ja aineisto pseudonymisoitiin. Pseudonymisoitu aineisto säilytettiin tietoturvallisesti. The research data consisted of thematic interviews with 23 professionals from the Finnish technology company. Innovation stories were convoluted, identifying innovation-framing contexts that were related to ownership, drivers, continuity, decisions and values. In the workshops, participants imagined what a “Biodiversity-respectful food system in Finland in 2050” could look like and identified potential pathways for achieving such a future. Eight stakeholder-specific workshops were held, attended by a total of 79 experts reflecting on food system-related biodiversity from multiple perspectives.\r\n\r\nThe workshops brought together a diverse range of food system actors, including farmers; representatives of the food processing industry; retail and hospitality sectors; agricultural unions and advisory organisations; environmental governance actors; the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; researchers; and non‑governmental organisations (NGOs). These groups were selected as they represent differing interests and viewpoints in public debates on food systems and biodiversity and play central roles in political decision‑making related to food system sustainability transformations.\r\n\r\nThe data produced in the workshops consists of researchers’ notes from small‑group discussions, photographs documenting participants’ collective future scenarios created on flip-charts, and narrative workshop summaries written by one of the researchers. The Glanville fritillary metapopulation in the Åland Islands in Finland is a well-known model for studying the ecological, genetic and evolutionary consequences of landscape fragmentation.\r\n\r\nWe have sequenced the genome of the Glanville fritillary. Finally, respondents were asked about their views on the COVID-19 pandemic and early childhood education measures during the pandemic. All sites are located in the \"Kupittaanpuisto\" urban park in the City of Turku, Finland. The sites include different types of urban green (grass, trees, low vegetation, swales), permeable hard surfaces like gravel paths and parking areas, tarmac, sports fields, and barren soil. A soil sample has been collected from each site to determine the soil type based on grain size distribution and organic content.\n\nFor each measurement, infiltration was measured with a METER GROUP mini infiltrometer (c) at three points within one meter around the monitoring location. Next, they were asked about their satisfaction with the functioning of democracy in Finland and asked to respond to statements related to politics and society. Finally, statements were made on civic participation and cooperation between municipalities and residents. Background variables include party membership, size of municipality of residence, age, gender, mother tongue, education level and electoral district.","fi":"Kyselyssä kartoitetaan kunnallispäättäjien mielipiteitä liittyen kunnallispolitiikkaan sekä demokratian toimivuuteen Suomessa.
